[Burglar Bing wants to throw down!]
Team: Persian Mawile Klefki Salazzle Ninetales Flareon

Her Mawile’s playful violence damaged the Yvetal more than Bing expected. She smiled as she saw how fearless her Pokemon was despite the difference in size and power. She jumped up and down as she cheered on her steel fairy.

“Get’em Nipper! Don’t hold back!…Hm?” She stopped cheering for a moment and blinked as trainer a stopped by her. “We’re stopping this Yvootly from breaking anymore of the city. I don’t want one, too much responsibility. I’m just letting Nipper whip it into submission so someone can get it nice and snug in a pokeball.” She continued cheering on her Mawile.



“Ha! Is that all you got? Are you sure you’re even a legendary and not just an oversized Murrow?” Bing laughed as her Mawile happily tore into the Yvetal with it’s Play Rough attack. It had been a long time since a battle had excited her so much.

Right as he felt there was SOME progress to be made in cleaning the bottles and was considering maybe either clearing the empty boxes, organizing the pokeballs in a container separated between occupied and empty, and then possibly running a broom among the place (not to mention that he was sure the fridge might be terribly bad if this was how the rooms were kept) when someone decided to wake up the professor and send a mess of papers everywhere. This changed the priority list, and he sighed, leaning down to start picking up the loose papers to make a neat stack and maybe see if there were any clean surfaces to place the paper for safe keeping (under a weight to keep a further mess from happening.)

All future plans at organization and blissful completion of clean were dashed in a moment as the ground rumbled and, startled, he looked out before the entire place went pitch and he felt himself thrown down onto the ground. Bracing himself, he covered his neck and head before he looked up, coughing among the debris and dust as bits of the ceiling and plaster coated his jacket and lungs.

Wheezing, he staggered up only to drop again, feeling stones and wall being blasted around him as he curled up. When it felt there was some air rushing in, he looked up only to feel the hot breath of fire and heat coast over his body. The world was suddenly a crackling furnace, and he broke into a instant sweat at he rose up and looked about.

"Lawr!" He called out.

There were people screaming and he could see rouge pokemon and people running down the road from the blasted walls around them. Ears ringing, he staggered out of one of the gapping holes in the walls and onto the street to look out, seeing great plumes of smoke rising overhead of the disintegrated buildings around them and clouds of dust moving above.

Further ahead, he saw a trainer with a Blastoise trying to put out some of the fire, but the pokemon was doing it's best just to have enough energy to be a living shield from the trainer leaning against it's shell, clinging to one of the spouts from it's back. Moving over, he moved over to help her.

"You're going to loose it at this point. The fire is too strong. Get to safety. Help the people further down." He rustled into his side pouch, pulling out the Ultra Potion he had. Melvin had planned to restock at the department store in the city. Turning, he popped the cap and pressed the handle, spraying it on the Blastoise who looked much better but still worn and scarred. At least it wasn't as badly burned.

She called, and the trainer looked around before nodding, calling out "TREVOR!" to get the pokemon's attention. It stopped it's fire-housing into the clouds before grunting and kneeling down for the trainer to hold onto it. Together, they started to walk before the woman stopped and forced two balls into his hands. "If you see any strays." She said, pulling up the collar of her jacket to protect her mouth.

Pocketing them into his pouch, he walked back to the open hole of the building and called out. "LAWR?!"
Coughing, he stepped back inside, hoisting up his jacket to protect his face as he looked for anyone else who might need help, but wanting to find his friend.

Efreet

He had no idea how he'd gotten roped into helping or why he had thought that showing up at the lab, and subsequently pushing every button available to him and his hands, was the right decision. Yet, he was there, wandering amongst the mess and generally being unhelpful.

It wasn't that he meant to be useless, but he hadn't the slightest clue where to start or what to do without specific instructions. Too many things went over his head when he was left to his own devices. And he'd been walking by a computer when things took a turn for the worst, with an alarm blaring so loudly his ear rang in the aftermath. The professor received his attention as he began to speak, Efreet's eyes narrowing in confusion as the gears in his brain were slow to kick into gear.

"Wait - " he'd started, the word half formed as it spilled out of his mouth and the scream of get out of the lab rang just as loudly in his ears. Stumbling backward, the monster tried to do just that before getting knocked off his feet. Hitting the ground, while also banging his head against it, his vision swam.

Rolling onto his stomach he looked up, squinting at a girl with...moths? In his daze he couldn't tell if they were real or imagine.

"Whaaaa - ?" The word was almost incoherent as he struggled to push himself up, vision swarming. "Hey," he reached for whatever part of Ev he could get his hand on. "What happened."

Efreet had seen Yvettal but was struggling to understand what it meant now that it had arrived.

Camilla and Mimi were still trying to figure out how to stop the Pokeball spewing computer when suddenly the professor was not only up, but seemed quite alarmed! Jumping and whirling around at the sound of his voice, the pare had little time to get their wits about them as the makeshift lab began to crash down around their ears! "Eep!" she squeaks almost mouseishly as she and her Dedenne dash out of the crumbling building! She had to dive for the exit, but somehow made it out!

It took a bit to unbury herself and Mimi from the rubble, but once she did, she realized something far more catastrophic had happened them simply the shoddy lab falling down! The pare stare in awed horror as the once beautiful central and surrounding area's of Luminose' center were reduced to a tragic, blacken mess! Panicked screams pierce the air as those who's life energy wasn't stolen fled in terror!

Unfortunately, it seemed the group of survivors from the lab caught the beast's attention and soon it was taking it's ire out on them! "Eek!" she yelps as she dives and rolls out of the way of a incoming blast! She held her Dedenne close to her as she quickly gets back onto her feet and dashes off in any random direction to try and get some space between her and it! No she wasn't running away, she just needed to collect her head for a moment.

Once she found a safeish place to collect her thoughts, she noticed the faint cries of those who hadn't been able to get away... As much as she was a trainer and battle was in her blood, Camilla couldn't just leave someone to suffer... Unfortunately, the building she ran into to save someone she heard calling out for help, was full on fire! As brave as her idea had been, it was also very rash and both Camilla and Mimi were regretting it! Both coughed as they breathed in lungfuls of smoke and both were close to passing out!

It was then, that a strange voice filled the pare's minds as they felt someone watching them very clearly! "Hello?" Camilla calls out but soon realized the voice was a telepathic one, not a verbal one. She could tell because she sometimes had conversations with her Meowstic that way. "You must keep going young one! Do not give up!" the voice said and the pare could feel the protective force keeping the destruction at bay! If Camilla had more time and wasn't dizzy from the smoke, she might have wondered who was speaking; but as it was, they had a person to save and little time to do it in!

"We need some help Mimi!" Camilla calls before reaching for the balls on her belt! "C'mon out!" she shouts as she tosses three Pokeballs into the air! Out of the three balls popped a Aegislash, a Meowstic, and a Hawlucha; "Ok, Cory you smash any debris in our way, but make sure it's not on fire first! We don't need you getting burned!" she says to the Hawlucha who flexes and nods! 'Haw-Hawlucha!" it cries before making a few dramatic chopping motions. Nodding, she turns to her Meowstic. 'Emmie! Whatever Cory can't break you move out of the way! Also, see if you can use your psychic power to create a bubble of fresh air for us!" she to the meowstic who nods and unfolds it's rabbit like ears! "Meeeeeeooooowwwwwwtttic!" it cries as it uses it's psychic power to create a dome around the group! Instantly, Camilla found she could think better now that she wasn't being constantly bombarded by the smoke! Finally, she turns to her Aegislash and nods. "Ward, you protect us from any falling debris and help Cory if he needs it!" she says to the Aegislash who salutes before going into Shield mode!

Once she had the support of her Pokemon, it was easy to get where they needed to go! Mimi even helped out a time or two by zapping some falling debris! Finally, they found the young boy who'd been calling for help and before long the group were outside! 'Thank you so much miss!" the boy exclaims through fits of coughing. He really should be seen for smoke inhalation, but that wasn't exactly a option right then... Kneeling down so she was eye level with the boy, Camilla told him to hide somewhere where the great Pokemon wouldn't see him. Nodding, the boy dug around in his pocket for a moment before handing her a ticket.

Confused as to why he gave her the ticket, the boy explained it was for a special lottery and he'd saved up all his pocket money to buy it! But he wanted her to have it for saving him! Smiling, Camilla tucks the ticket away safely in her bag before thanking the boy and giving him a hug. Once the boy seemed to have coughed most of the smoke out, he waves goodbye and runs off the hide. Nodding, Camilla looks in the direction of the angry Pokemon... Now was the time to do something...

As the great angry legendary circled back her way, Camilla swiftly returns her three Pokemon, and runs towards Yveltal! Quickly, she ducks behind a large piece of rubble as the angry beast fires it's life depleting ray her way! "Eep!" she squeaks as she avoids contact with the beam by a hair! Ok, maybe she should be a little less reckless... Mimi thought as much and chewed her out slightly for that reckless move. "Heh, sorry, got caught up in the moment!" she laughs and rubs the back of her head despite the tension.

Puffing up her checks, Mimi motions to the bird like Pokemon, with her little arms, that was circling back! Nodding, Camilla stands up and walks back into the open. With a confident smile, she holds her right arm straight out. knowing what her trainer was doing, Mimi gives a happy cry! "Ok Mimi! the dex said this thing was a flying type! So, it must be weak to electricity! Mimi! Use Thunderbolt!" she shouts excitedly!

Quickly, the electric mouse jumps from one of Camilla's shoulders to the other before running down her arm to her wrist! With one smooth motion, Camilla flings her mouse into the air as high as she could! "DE DE NNE!" Mimi shouts as electricity flairs off her cheeks! Once she was nearly level with the great beast's face, the tiny mouse lets off a surprisingly powerful blast of electricity! Angrily, Yveltal screeches and recoils back from the blast! It wasn't fun having a face full of lightning!

Mimi let off the blast with good timing, too, as Yveltal had been preparing a attack right at that moment! Fortunately, the sudden shock stunned the great beast for a moment giving Camilla time to catch her Dedenne and duck behind the rubble again! "Good job Mimi!" Camilla exclaims excitedly! "DE de nne!" she exclaims and raises her arms in a cheering motion!

The explosion wasn't entirely surprising to Lawrence. As a scientist dealing with pokemon you tended to find yourself in the vicinity of explosions fairly frequently. You just always had to hope that none of it was on a Mewtwo sort of scale - the stories had come down through the rumour mill to him and the others over time about that one.

The dust and smoke cleared a little beyond where he had ducked for cover and he caught a glimpse of the legendary pokemon through it all.

He didn't send out his Banette, it did that entirely on its own, reflexively defensive of its indifferent master, and it attacked the perceived threat while Lawrence stood up and brushed the dust from his lab coat. He heard Melvin somewhere nearby in the mess.

"I am over here." he said calmly while his pokemon went to work.

Everyone was trying to bring this thing down, but the powerful attacks from the other trainers didn't appear to be fazing this giant beast.

In that case, it was time to bring in the big guns.

"Pippin! Own it's a**!" She called out once more, another pokeball thrown towards the legendary.to reveal the tiny piplup inside, already running around the moment it was released. It was comically small compared to it's opponent, but regardless of it's size (and somehow knowing what it's trainer wanted it to do), it fired a surprisingly powerful Hydro pump

One had to wonder how such a tiny pokemon could hold so much water.
