Traveler had tried very hard the last time he'd been here to help. It had taken a lot more effort thna he had thought, but at least he'd made the attempt and been rewarded in the end. Now it was just a matter of seeing if he could do it a second time without breaking anything...
The answer was that he couldn't.
Traveler slunk away feeling less than satisfied with his failure to move the rock.

Fresh nopes on out. She got tagged with the exact same task she was first challenged with and concludes she just can't do it. She wrinkles her nose and backs off away from the holey rock and internally gags. "I'll nudge it like... an inch," she says, even though he cheers her on regardless. *Shivers*
7. A cracked, rough sandstone about as big as your head; it seems pretty fractured, but he wants you to get it over the goal in one piece... 3. You get at least halfway to your goal.
Light thought that it was a turtle shell he had to get across the line, a real solid and kickable one,, but,,,... was he wrong. About the 6th kick or so, the sandstone split in half. eyes wide open he let out a quiet "eeeeep" and turned back to the booth to let the kin know what happened. he only made it halfway before the stone decided to split apart.
"Ah, stone-pushing - stone-pushing I can do," said Forced Awake, putting himself forward.
The stone in question was ******** tiny - but the goal was surprisingly far. Unfortunately Forced Awake kept dropping it in his haste and had to keep doubling back, which meant he actually - somehow - didn't make it.
Damnit. Surprisingly, there was a token in it for him anyway.
Though the piece of sandstone was nearly crumbled by the time he was done, Steam definitely got it across the finish line with plenty of time to spare. He and Brother spent several minutes cheering and hyping each other up, both thoroughly excited by the event. The acha needed more friends like this!
A sandstone. A cracked one at that. What was she going to do with that? The buck wanted it across the line in one piece. If that was to happen it would be a damn miracle. She tosses it gently. Instead of it rolling anywhere, it falls apart and lands in front of her.
"Well that was....interesting." she said as she wandered away.
Physical labor was the first step to winning brawls. "I'll do it," nodded We Break, looking up and down the course. Of course, he was promptly assigned a rock that required a more delicate hand. The world was constantly conspiring against him, wasn't it? He chaperoned the rock about halfway down the course before the kimeti buck told him the time was up, and accepted his token curtly.

Light pushed and shoved but the stone would not budge. He crawled halfway onto it and tried to push it to rolling with his hindlegs. all the got was rockburn on his tummy. puzzled, he tried again by pushing it with his head. the stone did not budge. he shoved again but lost his balance and fell onto the ground. "ooof" the stone just wont budge..
Traveler had tried so hard the last time there he'd tried to push the rocks around, and hadn't done too well. But he was going to try again, just for the sheer principle of the matter.
He walked away feeling quite proud of himself.

The yells of the excited bucks could be heard for some distance around the market as Brother challenged Steam to push his large boulder; of course, the acha failed miserably ... but that didn't mean that they couldn't both get worked up over the attempt, right?

( #94A3B5 ) Roll: 5, 8 - A weird rock that's about the size of your full torso, but super dark and full of holes. && Amazing! Spectacular! You take your token, wondering if Brother is always so enthusiastic.
"Hello there, missed me?" Sorrel greets Brother, while waiting for her stone assignment of the day. Seeing the stone she grins, giving the buck's rump a playful thwap with her tail. "Are all your stones big?" she goes off chuckling.
This one isn't so large, but it is oddly shaped, due to the holes bored in it. She stops a moment to ponder what caused the holes, then proceeded to roll it across the track. She even rolls it right back, hardly breaking a sweat today. "Another rock lovingly tended for you. Hope you enjoyed it too." she smiles and winks at him, blowing a kiss his way before walking off to visit other booths.
"Hey~ Hey!"
A couple of days later, the bright buck noticed someone who'd been missing from his game - that funny doe he'd not even bothered to catch her name! For just a few moments, he left his booth untended, trotting after her with a noisy snort and a flick of the head, ears lifted as he tried to pull her attention.
Though he'd been tending all of his visitors with equal excitement, he'd actually noticed her not showing up again, so when he caught a glimpse, he couldn't help but give chase, curious as to her sudden disappearance.
"Um, hi again..." he began, one ear drooping as he realized he really didn't know her name. "Uh, I uh, I noticed you didn't come back! I thought, um, maybe you didn't like my game? Maybe we could like, play something else sometime?"
The bright buck smiled confidently as he could, though he found it surprisingly difficult to talk to the female - though he didn't quite know why. Something about her just made him shuffle his feet, feeling a little restless inside.
Sorrel felt guilty she'd stayed away so long. She'd even made him a bouquet, to hopefully get a message to Brother. But then she decided it needed something, maybe some sweet fruits as an extra treat. But between the season and number of kin here, the area had been picked fairly clean of fruits. All she'd found was a mushroom or two, which she tucked among the flowers for safe keeping. They weren't like her special mushrooms, she didn't know if Brother would enjoy that kind. But they do have a pleasant, earthy, taste. As a bonus, they were a good size. Not a full meal alone, but a hearty snack at the least. Carefully, and with some reluctant help from Mugwort, and overly enthusiastic help from Skeleton Parade and Mark the Bones (those two seemed to think it was high time she "Got some." And were not at all shy about voicing that opinion to their great-aunt.), Sorrel had got the whole thing wrapped into some leaves to protect it.
She'd actually been weaving her way through the crowd toward his booth, in a rather convoluted way due to the large number of kin milling around, when she nearly ran into him. Stepping back she gives him a huge smile, careful not to drop the bouquet. With a wink she offers it to him, "Goth yew a gefft!"

Ice Strike had been meaning to play games for quite some time, but watching over Tweet was a chore. Tweet was fully capable of handling herself, yet half the time she didn't. That left Ice Strike responsible for the excitable doe. One day, she kept telling herself, Tweet would be able to handle herself. Someday soon/
When she approached the game she hadn't expected such a small stone to be given to her. It was almost an insult, but she gave a patient and quiet smile. Doable. Easy. Perhaps too easy, as she seemed incredibly unfocused, rolling the air above the rock. Horrified and equally embarrassed, Ice Strike quickly scurried away.

Wow, this was a bigger stone then the one she had before. White Sands wasn't sure if she could push it, but she would give it a try.
