Even without it including a pickup l attempt, It is common for people to say "How do you know you don't want to" or "But what if someone finds you attractive?" (this is one I've encountered a few times myself, sans the attempt to pick up).
Just like a straight person typically doesn't have to try sex with their own gender to know they are straight, and just like being attracted do a gay person of the opposite gender than you doesn't make the person you're attracted to straight, someone finding an asexual person attractive doesn't magically turn us omnisexual (aka: a sexuality that isn't asexual)
Even worse, with the pickup attempt, it implies the fact the individual thinks they can 'cure' you, which can dangerously lead to "Corrective" molestation or rape, a danger that is sadly common to the majority of the MOGII Community regardless of sexuality.
