Leslie's tray would be devoid of refreshments before she knew it.
Meanwhile, I leaned behind a wall, keeping mostly out of sight while the spectacle continued. "I hope they get their crap together soon. I'm starting to get restless."
"Youuuu~" Keiko slurred, sticking her index finger into my left sleeve. "...need teh looshen up."
I sighed raggedly as she rested her head on my shoulder, wrapping an arm around me. "And -you- need to stop drinking," I said, taking the empty glass from her other hand. "How many of these have you had?"
Keiko kinda pouted at me when I asked that, but it didn't last. Drinking had her emotions pretty much stuck on silly. "Ah only had th-one! ...gallin."
I facepalmed as she giggled. This really didn't need to be worse than it already was.

Sub didn't get a chance to answer to Aria's cries before the hand came across his face and smacked him. For someone acting it had some force behind it and it was all Sub could do to prevent himself from retaliating with a smack of his own, it would certainly draw a lot more attention to them than already has been.
"Forgive my sister, all the excitement is over stimulating for her." The 'Royal Guardsman' answered his fellow 'guard'. "In the name of the king what riff raff might that be?" He asked the guard, peeling Aria off his arm. If he was going to play a guardsman then he had to stick to it. "Philippe de Neuvartault, at your service." The man said as he stuck his open hand out for the other guard to shake, his other hand saluting him.

Zac would jump out of Aile's clutch purse as it saw more of its kind, looking like they were having some kind of tearful reunion. It and the other Cores and Cells would hop in order, each of them slowly merging into one spot. It would seem that part of Aile's mission was accomplished and that it would be easy to simply get them back into the clutch before acquiring the Cube. But things rarely came easily to the Snagems, not even ones that went turncoat. Instead of being ready to go back into a purse, they'd all melt and become as one. Then, they'd start forming something more solid. It still looked a little like the depictions based on Zygarde's legends, at least in that it was black and green. But such depictions also weren't as... dog-like as this looked. Some of the Cells had kept around its neck and jutted out, forming a sort of scarf above what looked like one of the Cores. Perhaps Zac? It had been the one to get them together, after all. Zac sat there for a moment, using one of its hind legs to scratch itself and make sure the rest of it was moving like it wanted. By this time, the woman that Ramos sent to get the Cores and Cells would come in, Zygarde Cube in hand. She really wasn't expecting an intruder, let alone the absence of what she was sent to retrieve and sudden replacement of a dog. "M-miss! What are you doing here!?" She spoke up as loud as she could, hoping to alert any guards that were around as she tightened her grip on the Cube in her hand. "What is the meaning of this!? I-I must ask you and your... mutt to leave, NOW." The good news was that Zac knew how to take a hint and stood up. The bad news was that maybe it wasn't in response to her, immediately bolting out of the room with a loud bark. Zac was going to make sure the Cells and other Cores were pulling their weight. After Aria and Sub, Darts and Silver would be the next ones to get to the room that Aile was in, only for Silver to immediately be sent to the ground as Zac bolted out and ended up on top of them. It stayed on their chest as it looked around and gave a light lick to their face, with the gaggle of attendees that were once taking in the festivities go from mingling to gasps and screams in record time. They all did their best to stay back, hushed whispers abound about how someone apparently couldn't keep their Pokemon on a leash. 'Philippe' would have a different sort of riff raff to deal with. Blizzard would arrive just in time to see everything unfold, Zac taking a glance at him before taking off towards him and brushing against him before sliding to make the corner and going down the hallway from whence he came. More of the attendees were suddenly aware of Zac's presence now, with more screams coming from them as they either moved out of the way or wound up being knocked over between either it and the other people. Glasses and bits of food were going everywhere for one reason or another as it continued. Freth and Tristen would likely see Zac as it continued down, though the crowd threatened to mow them down in their haste. "If I can keep yer attention just a bit longer, she should be back with the-" Ramos would be cut off not by the arrival of his colleague, but by the sudden entrance of Zac as it ran onto the stage, hitting the table and microphone and toppling them over. "Dog? Is that..." "Ramos, sir, we can worry about that later!" One of the two behind him finally spoke up, quickly pulling the Gym Leader out of the way. "If it looks like what we've been studying, we need to get it to come with us!" "Yes, yes, yer right," Ramos admitted, digging into his jacket pocket to pull a Pokeball out. "I suppose the reveal's a bit belly up now, isn't it? Gogoat, we could use yer help here." The ball would soon open to reveal a Gogoat at his side, with a regretful look on both their faces. They really didn't want to have to resort to this, though Gogoat would soon rush after Zac. Or try to; it was harder for it to navigate the crowd, especially as chaotic as it was now. Amaranth would end up tossing the tray as Zac and Gogoat both raced past her, making her lose her balance. The toothpicks embedded into the cheese would go into the air with it, raining down and landing on some unluckier souls as she fell. She'd sit there for a second, stunned before quickly getting back up and trying to save what dignity she had left. "Suddenly glad I kept these with me... Swift, we might need you here!" There was bound to be a bit of confusion when the ball she pulled out of the apron's pocket didn't unleash an attack, but a Pokemon; specifically, a Doduo who wound up joining the chase with Zac and Ramos' Gogoat. The others in the main room of the chateau weren't likely to be terribly safe either, the room quickly becoming a mess as the small smattering of tables and chairs around were knocked over. Or, for that matter, Zac jumping onto the tray balanced on Leslie's other jaw and leaping from it as it raced into the other room. Or the Gogoat and Doduo that looked to be en route to ram Clara or anyone else in the way as they kept up the chase. The trio in the rafters would get a front row seat to the action as it all happened, safe from the chaos that was quickly overtaking the party and able to see Zac as it raced through another of the halls. They could get a good sight of what was going on with the others as well, enough to discern that things had just gone pear-shaped and somehow not by the team's doing. Going down now was unlikely to make matters worse. Maybe. Regardless, everyone's SNAGs would go off as GRAY went to contact them, followed by Cera apparently having the same thoughts once things felt quite different from earlier. They'd both end up speaking to the Snagems at the same time. "Time to put the drinks down. Or are you all too drunk to notice something's amiss? There's an energy reading similar to the Core you... affectionally called Zac before thinking that giving it to Team Flare was the best idea ever. How about trying to fix that little mistake?""Uh, guys? What's going on down there? Everyone's suddenly sounding like they're in a panic, and I'm feeling a lot more than just that Core we wound up giving to Aile... whatever it is, we need to get it and bring it back!""Oh, and could someone tell the floating wad of bubblegum to stop talking over me and let me do the job I was made for? Maybe make her come down with the rest of you and help, I don't care.""Could've just told me..." Cera said to herself afterward, wrapping her tail around the egg in her clutches. She couldn't blame GRAY for speaking up, though.

I cursed mentally as the party devolved into chaos. I could barely tell what GRAY and Cera were talking about as they spoke up at the same time, but from what little he could fathom, he'd just identified part of a legendary. He had the feeling he never wanted to run into a real Zygarde if it could break up into this many pieces.
Nevertheless, I was determined to help, and let Rala out of her ball... only to find her ball empty.
"I'm sorry," I heard Rala say in my mind seconds before she Teleported onto my shoulder. "I got bored so I went to our hangout to eat and meet new people."
"Don't worry about it," I told her. "Use Confusion on that Zygarde piece to keep it from moving, or at least to slow it down."
"Yes, master," she said before emitting warped Psychic energy at Zac.
For some reason, it took me this long to think about a rather drunk Keiko, but she was asleep - wait, when did that happen? Oh, well, she'll be alright for now.

My senses tripped and I looked back, staring in confusion as the door flies open and out comes...the black and green dog creature rushing out. "The hell?" I spoke up as I felt the hound brush up against me then rush off. "...Ok, was that...it? Because by my stance, if Zygarde is a legendary Pokemon, it usually comes in one of three flavors: super cute, super powerful, or both. Aaaaaand it isn't one of them that I can tell." I said as the mutt rushed up a nearby stair case and down the corridor straight for Freth.
--------
"Look out!" Freth said.
"YAAAH!" The boy yelped as he was snatched by Freth and rushed through a set of nearby doors into another room. Caution to the wind at this point if there was any one in there or not. Freth gave a sigh in relief for a moment, only to get a call on SNAG.
"What!?"
"Freth, was that thing Zygarde?"
"Blizzard, not now."
"Yes, now! Was that thing everyone is getting up in arms over?
"Yes! Um...I think?"
"You THINK!?"
"Look! This thing is different! It's like...I don't know. Maybe it grew up?"
"From the last time you seen it, which was when?"
"Well I didn't see it last time."
"COME AGAIN!?"
"Blizzard, not now! Focus on the problem now! Flare is sure to be here and we got a loose legendary that we need to contain somehow! Any ideas?"
"Not at the moment. Then again, I'm trying not to get trampled on down here! That thing made a panic down here!"
Freth thought for a moment then went back to her idea from earlier. It needed a little bit of something though. "Blizzard, do me a favor! Try to root out a couple of Flare guys! I'm going to see if Beau is willing to do some fireworks!"
"You're going to make that pyromaniac of a butterfly blow something up. Why?"
"Flare is going to wish they weren't here."
"...........you're going to re-kick start the revolution."
"Exactly. And when Flare is ousted, I would love to see Lysandre try to weasel himself out of that one."
"That's not going to come easy. Comebuy got this place wired to hear and see just about everything. I don't know where equipment is, though."
"Got it covered." Freth said, ending the connection with her significant other and started to call Isaac.

Aile turned to check on the cells and cores, only to watch the transformation into the dog. "What?.... Even when I leave, thing are never easy! Why, why, why?" She was caught so off tilt by the transformation that she wasn't ready or paying attention when the lady entered, mentally cursing as the lady screamed. When Zac left, the woman would quickly slip on her shoes and turn to speak to the other woman in the room. "Pardon, but I was planning on actually delivering you a core that some associates of mine had found. Myself personally, I thought it would be best to do this privately, so I waited for you here. However, what I wasn't expecting to find were more cores and cells floating around in here. So, I figured, why not let the little one I had play around with its friends while I waited for you. Next thing I know, they transformed into that dog that just ran out of the room. So, while yes, I shall leave, I think we should be testing out your new toy there." Aile would be walking slowly closer to the woman until she want to grab the Zygarde Cube, wrenching it out of her hands. "For the betterment of Kalos," she'd bow as she darted out of the room.
__________
Arkana would hesitate a bit as Sub offered out his hand, remaining silent. "s**t, s**t, s**t," she thought to herself, staring at the hand, partially ignoring the yell coming form the other woman that had just entered. "Er, pardon, but I have this phobia of- what the?!" Arkana would take a step back as Zac would come barreling out of the room, staring in disbelief. "Um... What was that?" About a minute later, Aile would emerge, putting the Cube in her clutch and reaching for something else when she looked around at the group of people.
"Um... Great."
"This has gone pear shaped, hasn't it?"
"Oui," Aile would nod, slowly taking a few steps away from Sub and Aria. "You know, I was right about you being another Snagem when I saw you enter, I just didn't think the leader himself would be showing up." She looked around, then saw Darts aiming towards them, eyes growing like a Deerling in headlights. "Oh merde. Screw keeping in character, go after Zygarde!"
Arkana would shake her head, growling as she let her natural voice come through. "What the hell did you do piss him off? Aile!" She growled as Aile ran out of earshot, her Illusion cracking its knuckles. "Damned nobility... Just because she returned doesn't give her the right to hide things from me..." She'd take off after the dog, jumping over fallen objects that Zac created in its wake.
Meanwhile, Aile would bring out the object she was reaching for while she was running, a small communicator. "Zygarde formed up sooner than planned, as well as a large entourage of Snagems have infiltrated the party. We need back up now!" As soon as she got her response, she'd put it away and look behind her, praying Darts wasn't following her. "I hate heels, I hate running in dresses... This was supposed to be a calm evening!"

Everything clicked for Sub the moment Arkana refused his handshake. From that point on a domino effect occurred with the green puppy running off with Arkana after it and Aile close behind. Deciding that everything has gone to hell already and that there was no longer any use in keeping up with his Royal Guardsman disguised the Dark One immediately chucked a Dusk Ball at Aile, hoping it opened up as close to her as possible.
"Pallas, Block!" He called out to the Bone Vulture Pokemon as she appeared from the ball above and behind Aile.
"Buzz mandi!" Cried out the Dark type. With a flick of her head the vulture would dislodge the bone in its feather tuft. As the bone fell back down to Earth Pallas would kick it over Aile's head. Once the bone hit the ground it would unleash a surge of dark energy which formed a temporarily impassable wall with a noticeable 'X' shape in it.
"You're not anywhere." Sub informed Aile as he caught up to her, Griswald hanging overhead as he rose up from the Dark One's shadow, cackling all the while. It wasn't Darts she was going to have to worry about right now. "I'll let the others worry about that alien mutt, you're tonight's real prize." With that said Griswald would summon forth from its vile green maw a stream of Stygian insect-like energy constructs via Infestation, the faux underworld insects threaten to surround Aile and keep her in place.

Aria barely had a moment to snap into her normal self as the door exploded outwards, a strange green and black dog thing now sprinting through the crowd to escape into the wilds of Kalos after...something. Scrambling to her feet before cracking open a Pokeball she had hidden somewhere best left unmentioned, Aria would soon be leaping onto the back of her Noivern Vibrato before pointing towards the Zygarde. "Onward! We have a thing to catch!" Waiting a scant moment for anyone who wished to board, she would take off at high speeds over the gathered crowd to hunt down the Zygarde.
Leslie would be caught off-guard, busy gagging and doing her best to eliminate the taste of alcohol from her mouth as she spat out the champagne. Thankfully, that social faux pas would be overshadowed by the sudden stampede of Zygarde dog that bounded through the crowd and then decided that the gagging hybrid was a perfectly formed jump pad. Yelping as she was pushed into the ground, Leslie would growl into the floor before springing up with pure rage on her face as she stampeded after the Zygarde and cleared her path by scything her second move through the crowd to bash them out of the way. "Come back here! I need to make sure you pay for that!" Leslie screamed as she continued her tirade of aggression through the ballroom, hot on the Zygarde's heels.
Meanwhile, Beau would simply be perched above the chaos and sit there a moment to keep watching. Stretching his wings out as he waited for the others to react, the Vivillon hybrid would keep to his perch.

Darts watches Silver get bowled over by Zac in sparkling new doggie form, but as he watches a handful of staff and several Snagems take off after it, the Giratina hybrid figured they would have it in good hands. He leans down briefly next to Silver's ear, the prone hybrid no doubt in a cyclone of confusion after getting battered by the runaway dog. He hefts the hybrid to his feet in a very seemingly easy fashion, barely dedicating one arm to hefting Silver up. "Alright, you called that one toot sweet on the guard by the way." He affirms for the Houndoom hybrid. His eyes aren't looking anywhere near the runaway Zygarde however, both red dots boring a hole into the darkened doorway an odd Rich Boy had just disappeared through. "Let's go, we got business." He insists, hurrying through the doorway. "Don't drop my belt." Espeon_Commander Meanwhile, Aile would bring out the object she was reaching for while she was running, a small communicator. With that said Griswald would summon forth from its vile green maw a stream of Stygian insect-like energy constructs via Infestation, the faux underworld insects threaten to surround Aile and keep her in place. Darts shows up on the scene, feeling a bit conflicted. On one hand this odd-looking Rich Boy had managed to corner Aile off in the distance, but on the other hand it seemed like he was attacking someone he needed answers from. He sent a Pokeball arcing from his free hand, releasing his... "Bagon!" Appearing in an iridescent shimmer of green scales, the small Dragon would land near the Spiritomb. "Bagon, Twister!" The little dragon would whirl around and around, conjuring a brilliant blue cone of wind around Aile that arced upwards in imitation of a tornado, attempting to scatter the bugs and the Mandibuzz that were cornering Darts' quarry with a bright azure field of Dragon-powered wind. "Alright, I don't know who you think you are..." The Giratina hybrid announces arrogantly, placing a gilt hand onto the blonde rich boy's shoulder to turn him face-to-face.

Chuckling while Leslie was unable to hold back her booze, Clara wouldn't see the dog bounding towards them. With a hop and skip and now a really pissed off pip the scene was now set and the game was a foot.
Clara would try to whip out one her Pokeball hidden away when one of the patrons would toss a chair over trying to run. Annoying but she tried again. This time a woman bumped her to the ground. "ALRIGHT! Time to get this posh wine drinking twits out of here!"
Tossing the pokeball she had ready at her ready spot, a Dieno would explode out the ball sniffing the air in excitement. "Terra use Roar and clear this room of our exault- exaul- Wow" Clara would hold her head as the alcohol would begin to set in "Get the panzies out of here!"
Terra, the dieno, would crane her neck back and in one sudden motion let out a tremendous boom of force blowing chairs and tables away and hopefully getting the unwanted guests out of here.

Somehow, Kaya and Trish wound up in a room off the main hall where the party was taking place. "Ugh! I hate this place! Can we go now, please?" Trish begged Kaya, tugging at the seams of her dress.
"I never took you for such a whiner." Kaya replied, calmly peering through the spaces between the double doors. "We still don't know why we're here and if we don't get back out there in a hurry, we're going to miss the reveal they talked about."
"I'm not whining! I'm complaining." Trish countered ."There is a difference." She couldn't deny that Kaya made a point, though. They were here for a reason and if for no other reason than because they had been ordered here today, they needed to stay. "Let's go then."
Stepping back out of the side room, Kaya heard the mention of Zygarde as the reveal began, though he missed pretty much everything else. "Zygarde? Why are they talking about a fable?" He asked, only familiar with the name from skimming over a story about some fabled guardian of the world once when browsing Sub's extensive library of legends and lore in the basement of Snagem HQ.
"What's that? Zygarde? Good question. No one's ever seen it before. Most people don't eve think it exists. A Gym leader like Ramos, of all people, should know that better than most." Trish added as she looked up at the stage.
It wasn't but a few moments later of the pair silently ignoring Ramos' continued ramblings that things went sour. Trish's recently enhanced sense of smell suddenly picked up something earthy and fresh as the guests at the party found themselves essentially flying in all direction, along with food and drink. "Good thing neither of us likes champagne." She commented with a small laugh before spotting where the source of the strange new smell was coming from.
"Heads up!" She cried as a small black and green dog mounted a party guest like a diving board and jumped off their back(head? Were they that short?), only to come crashing down in their area. Trish was safe, having moved aside just in time to avoid being a landing pad but Kaya wasn't as lucky.
Zac would come crashing down right on top of him, slamming him into the floor with far more force than he would've expected from a canine. Unseen behind his helm, his eyes were crossed and he fought not to lose the contents of his stomach as Zac took off again, leaving paw prints on the crotch of his pants.
"I'm a woman and that hurt to watch......" Trish yipped, cringing as she tried to help Kaya back to his feet once Zac was off him.
At the same instant, both their SNAGs would go off, playing a pair of overlapping messages. "What's this about a core?"
"Zygarde......I read once that it's body is composed of Cores and Cells." Kaya mumbled, his voice higher pitched than normal. "Maybe someone found one recently? I'm a bit out of the loop lately." He admitted, trying not to let his hands find their way to his groin. He desperately wanted to nurse his injured pride after that but he kind of wanted to save face in case he chose to come back here someday. "Go help. I bet that was it."
"But Zygarde is a fairy tale....." Trish muttered, taking out a Pokeball. "Fuse...Help catch that thing." She said as the Electrike within emerged. She figured if it was a dog right now, maybe, if that even was Zygarde, it would be more interested in coming with another dog than a goat or a bird. Regardless of her thoughts on the matter, Fuse bolted off after the canine Dragon quick as lightning. Hopefully the Electric hound would be able to catch up.

Zac would end up just past the door to one of the side rooms near the stage when the Confusion blast struck, though it seemed to shrug it off without much trouble. It still made it pause, however, making it subject to the immense pressure of Rein's Murkrow and its Quash. The Thunder Wave would hit next, but it oddly did nothing noticeable. The difficulty in moving didn't have the jittery quality that paralysis likes to give, but it was still able to slowly move. It looked like Zac was an easy grab at this point, but the bottleneck and smaller quarters of the room it was going into had its own ups and downs. The problems would start when Gogoat realized it was about to ram into a wall, quickly trying to stop itself and slamming into Rein's Murkrow in the process, cutting the Quash short and allowing Zac to run free once more. Swift, being so close behind, tripped on Gogoat and went barreling into the room. Both of the Doduo's heads would sqwak at one another, arguing over which one was clumsy enough to end up tripping. Arkana, Vibrato and Leslie were all fast approaching as well, but luckily, they might have enough time to avoid tripping over or flying into theirselves. Fuse would be able to catch up as well, but the Electrike still had the bottleneck to worry about. The butler and maid that had their uniforms nicked would storm through the front doors of the chateau, both of them hastily dressed in normal clothes. A few guards followed them inside, one of them moving forward to observe what was going on before looking to the servants and asking a simple question. "Are they the ones?" "That's them!" The butler and maid both screamed, noticing Amaranth. Connor didn't appear to be in their line of sight, but the butler could feel his pained and maddening presence. It had to be somewhere in there. "The rest of them must've sneaked in with those two!" The maid added, only for all of them and a number of attendees to flinch from Terra roaring so loudly, a few shoving their way outside. After a moment, the maid would look to the guards that were trying to locate the noise. "Will you stop standing there and go be guards or something!?" "Of course. Vite, vite! After them- oof!" The guard's order barely got out before Zac flew through the air, leaping over everyone to get out of the room it was in and hitting the guard's stomach in the process. The wind was knocked out of him, but he was able to still stand and point at Zac as he went off in another direction. "And get that dog too..." Each of the guards would send out a Furfrou to aid them, one joining the chase for Zac and the other moving towards the Snagems. The windless guard would assist in trying to detain the team after getting his breath back. "As for you... you'll be leaving with us!" Another crash would soon be heard as Zac jumped onto another table that was miraculously still standing. The finger foods and punch that had been there for less keen attendees would soon be scattered between the Zygarde's movements and the sheet being thrown backwards, and the punch bowl soon lost its contents as it rolled into Zac and was scooped onto its head. The table would finally go as the end was reached, practically being flipped upside down when Zac went to the floor and hit it with its hind legs. Punch bowl in tow, it'd start down the eastern wing. Though Aile had called for reinforcements, there would be a startling lack of red-orange suits, hair or shades. Either Team Flare was smart enough to not be dressed so conspiculously, or Aile might've been the only one around in the first place and it'd be some time before anyone else arrived. Either way, if Freth or Blizzard were to look around, there wouldn't be much for either of them to oust. "I know we've got that one group rounding them up too, but we haven't asked for any associates to help- hey!" None of this, however, changed the reaction that'd come from the woman that just had the Zygarde Cube stolen from her. She wouldn't waste any time in throwing herself into the fray, sending out a Crobat. "Crobat, Confuse Ray! Keep them from escaping!" Though her Crobat would do as ordered, Aile wouldn't be the only target. The flash was aimed in a way that'd end up trying to get everyone else nearby, the close quarters making it impossible to avoid crossfire. At least, for anyone that could see it. Some unlucky guests would be caught in it as well, stumbling around as a result and unable to get their bearings. The varying degrees of intoxication from wining and dining would see others on the floor even faster, with one gentlemanly sort moving around like a worm when it was discovered that his legs weren't being too cooperative at the moment.

I recalled Rala the instant most of the team - those who snuck in, anyway - were fingered. I leaned against the wall and tried to look inconspicuous. After all, I wasn't Terashi tonight. Tonight, I was 'Sharl'.
My eyes glanced to Keiko, who was still out flat, or so I thought. Before I could bend down to tend to her, she woke up and held her head in her hand. "Owwww," she whined as she slowly, sloppily rose to her feet.
"Are you alright?" I asked her, straightening her dress as she rubbed her head.
'My head hurts," she complained. I could tell from the way her eyes moved that she was still very much drunk, so it wasn't a hangover. Did something hit her in the head?
I hugged her whle she rubbed her head, while watching the other Snagems deal with the guards. The less involved I was in that, the better.

Today seemed to be a day for many angry glares, as Isaac's ire was now directed at his vibrating SNAG, distracting him momentarily from the fiasco below. Setting the volume to barely a whisper, he held the device to his ear. "Having fun down there?" he quipped, in a whisper of his own, trying to keep Aile in his sights all the while.
