Not too much longer into their hike, there was an aggressive buzzing. She actually didn't pay much mind to it until there were others reacting. Bees. Everyone yelled. Everyone ran. She was one of the lucky ones that managed to get away unscathed.

The sound of buzzing caused a new fear to rise in Lillith, it was far louder than she wanted it to be. Keeping her head down, Lillith kept her feet moving forward and covered her head with a light blanket from her pack. She heard one of the younger nightmares cry out, "Bees!" and groaned at the thought. What in the world had she signed up for?

Xerxes blinked, slightly confused by the change in Niamh’s attitude towards the situation. Frowning, he watched as she turned away from him and looked down at the ground — he had hurt her feelings. His own awkwardness had caused someone else discomfort. Cursing to himself, Xer followed after her, debating on how to break the silence between the two of them. His tail swished back and forth behind him, small twigs and dirt getting caught in the fluffy fur. He didn’t pay no mind to it now, attention caught up elsewhere. Though later he would definitely need to clean it. When Niamh’s wings came up, Xer raised an eyebrow, curious about what was going on. When he heard the screams, finally, and saw the panicked look on Niamh’s face as she ran off, Xer knew something was up. Finally, the familiar buzz of the bees caught his attention and he watched as some of the others in the group were obviously getting the brunt end of the bee attack. He hurried over to where Niamh was, concern etched onto his face. “Are you alright? You didn’t get stung, did you? You’re not allergic to bees, are you?” As he asked these questions, Xer found himself looking over her arms, and anywhere else he could see, to make sure that she hadn’t been stung.

She gave a tired thumbs up before opening her bag to show them all her salves and water ", I came prepared, but I wasn't expecting this sort of heat for sure! It is really annoying my skin. Hopefully I will have enough for this whole trip," she was sure that she would, but there was always that small chance ", Hopefully Clyde ends up alright."

The flight instructor visibly gave herself a check, "One pair of wings, functional~ Two arms with hands attached, working~ Two legs with feet at the ends, yup~ One head, hmmm~" she hummed, pursing her lips. "I think it's working~" she smiled. "Are you enjoying yourself so far?" she asked before her expression turned horrified and she gestured, "BEES!"

Hiking as a general group activity in the morning wasn't exactly the same as wandering a familiar wood by himself at night. Hiking also had an agenda, and a pace, and he had to leave a few blurry, blobby pieces of promising vegetation behind.
He looked forward to breaks, however. Then he sat a little apart, and was able to sketch samples of leaves, of flowers, from what he could make out if he cupped his hands and arms around them to make a dark bubble of shadow in his lap.
This, he could have done all day...but the group was eager to move on. And he felt a little exposed doing it, besides, living in the terror of someone asking him what he was doing.
He was so absorbed the rockslide took him completely by surprise, and a good chunk of rock hit his arm. It was very sore. After that he took more care to be on alert, and when there was an ominous buzzing sound, he ran very quickly.
All-in-all, the trip was shaping up to be on the miserable side, and nothing particularly Forbidden (Unexplored) had even happened yet.

Index didn't like physical activity and incidentally physical activity didn't really like him either. Hiking was about the least fun thing he could imagine having to do with a day. It wasn't even a situation he felt comfortable enough in to hassle his new "friend". For the most part he walked in grim and sullen silence and when taken off guard by the sliding and falling rocks, found himself hurt and in even more sour mood.
He escaped the bees a little more nimbly but still, in his concern and growing exhaustion was no longer as cocky.

Wow. That was rough. Luckily, they got away, and fast. It was unfortunate some people were stung (which Claire apologized for in loud bursts of teary sobs), but everyone was still in the group.
Hours passed, and after a brief burst in spirit when Claire announced they were almost there, it seemed the group had recovered their energy. Good thing, too, because to get to where they're going they need to climb a few boulders!
RNG 1-50. If you roll an injury number, you hurt yourself during the climb!
Those who did not roll previous round are automatically injured.
If you get a 1, 10, 30, or 50, you're injured! If you get a 5, 15, 25, 35, or 45, quote Yushika! You'll earn a trinket after the Meta!

Aurora turned to the girls, and nodded and then looked up the boulders they had to climb. Aurora got a few feet up when she lost her grip and fell down, hurting her ankle. Aurora closed her eyes for a moment, the pain in her ankle was going to slow her down for a while, but she didn't think it was broken. She pulled an ace bandage out of her backpack and wrapped her paw up. Then sat there for a bit, before trying to get up to try again. "Bridgette, Coralie, please be careful I don't recommend falling."

Fidel fluttered his wings hopefully.
Climbing, at least, he could manage. He was light, and small, and in spite of the injury to his arm his wings did most of the work. He waited contemplatively at the top. There weren't many people without some kind of nick or scratch at this point.

"I do not plan on falling," Coralie smiled, beginning the climb with the others. Strange enough her leg wasn't really bothering her now, so the climb wasn't too hard. The only real hard thing about it was she was still feeling really warm ", If there is a stream when we get there, I would not doubt it if I just jumped in."

Azure waited for everyone to go up before beginning his long tiring climb. he watched carefully to where he had placed his footing and his hands, bot wanting to cause anything to fall on anyone behind him, though he could have easily flown up he thought that doing so would ruin the fun of hiking. so he continued on climbing just like everyone else keeping his sweater over his shoulder so he wouldn't lose it. as he finally got closer to the top he had nearly slipped but began to easily get his footing back as he pulled himself up and waited for everyone else.

Naosu had to admit that having wings was a benefit when you could fly and avoid problems entirely. Not wanting to be too easy on herself however--this was supposed to be a challenge, after all!--she used wingbeats for balance over attempted flight and was able to get over the obstacle without too much trouble.

Bridgette smiled and was just happy they had made it away from the bees. She felt bad for Claire since they seemed to feel so bad about what had happened. It wasn't there fault a hive of bees had been knocked over. She looked up at the wall of rocks they had to climb and she looked around to make sure people were okay. She frowned over at Auroa when she got hurt. "If you need some help let me know. If not then don't worry. I just want to make sure you're alright. I don't plan on falling." She watched her wrap her ankle and looked at her worried more. She smiled over at Coralie and giggled. "Sounds like a really good idea. It would also be a good way to cool off but I bet your skin would love all that water." She looked around and started to climb slowly helping anyone who needed it or wanted it.

Aurora took a deep breath and tested her ankle, it still hurt a little, but she decided to push through the pain and get moving with the girls. "I think I'll be ok, thanks, Bridgette." Aurora said warmly as she climbed more slowly and carefully this time. Then Aurora laughed trying to forget the ache in her ankle and said "I would mind cooling off too, but it takes longer for my fur to dry after getting wet."
