DAY 5: MAY 13TH. Quote: => MAIN POST =>DAILY CHOICE DAY 4 RESULTS Let's see how your two ice stars are getting along! 1)+0 point Ah, victory music. The sounds of Alternian military. Great for trolls, but maybe not for piddle-filled rodents. They skedaddle out of sync on the ice to the confusing drum beats and scream violently at each trumpet blast. 2)+3 points. The deep beat of electronic music fills the event! A groovy rhythm begins, and unknown to the audience high pitched noises that only tiny animals can hear begin to transmit through the speakers. Your gerbils dance as though their tiny lives depend on it!! 3)+1 points Party music fills the stadium, filling the audience with the uncontrollable need to dance! Stomping and clapping fills the air, which leads your gerbils to panic and twirl around the ice in beautiful little tight circles. Lovely. 4)+2 points Romantic music doesn’t inspire quite the energy of the other music, but it sure does lower the audience’s expectations for much action! As your gerbils snuggle and/or attempt to break free, their performance appears to be more like performance art than a jiggling mass of ice dancing. GERBIL DANCING DAY 5 Everything’s going fine until something starts moving under the ice. Your gerbils freeze and then run in opposite directions, pulling each other uselessly around in a flurry of limbs. Something is coming… How do you cheer your gerbils out of their despair?! Fortunately, NummCorp has provided you with some accessories to use! 1) Pompoms. 2) Roses. 3) Loudspeaker. 4) Rockets. =>SUBMISSION CODE
My name is: yernamehere I am in team: yerbloodcolorhere

They immediately light up and hand you what appears to be a blurry picture of... Something... And give you a clue as to where they found it! S24 +1 points - The southern mountain range is cold and unforgiving. You manage to find an old cave inhabited by some kind of creature, but between the growls from within and the icicles on your horns you have to head back. K24 +4 points - At the bottom of the central mountain range, you find a perfectly preserved Winterbeast Snow Angel! P21 +1 point - The little ponds around here are quite slippery and look to have recently started to defrost. You spot a fishing hole - could this be a sign of the winterbeast? N16 +2 points - Amidst the foothills you find a small trail littered with fish heads! Hell, why not collect them? You didn't see any trolls or grizzlebeasts around here, so maybe NummCorp will buy it. Hivestuck My name is: Opimus Fellah I am in team: red My couple is: Jazzercise (beautiful) and Ginger (smart) I choose option: 3. Loudspeaker My current score is: +4 Something seemed to have the gerbils all spooked. He couldn't blame them. Honestly, he was a little spooked by whatever massive creature was shifting around under the frozen waters. He hoped to gog that it didn't think the tiny gerbils looked appetizing enough to break the surface. It was time to rally the forces. Taking the provided loudspeaker, Fellah cheered on the gerbils. How much good it would do was anyone's guess. Of course the farm troll was not the best individual to rally any hardcore spirit (luckily, they were just gerbils so the results couldn't be too catastrophic). The redblood stood on the sidelines hollering encouragement at Ginger and Jazzercise. He sure had a set of pipes on him, much to the dismay of anyone within hearing range. His encouragement sounded like he was trying to rally a group of wrigglers. The kindness and niceties could hardly be considered inspirational. After enough time, the real announcer troll decided that enough was enough, and took the loudspeaker away from the farm troll. Hopefully he had said enough to get the two gerbils back on their toes and performing their little hearts out. It was up to Ginger and Jazzercise now. Hivestuck My name is: Opimus Fellah I am in team: red I am exploring:G 18 Score: +5 Fellah was quite happy that he had listened to his lusus suggestion and head back down to the base of the rivers. Running into the lumbertrolls, the redblood had a great time chatting them up, sharing stories, cider, and Fellah was sure to leave them with some of his produce he had stocked on the wagon. He was convinced that this encounter would now put him on the right track to find the elusive wild winterbeast. Keeping the the lumbertrolls stories in mind, Fellah packed up his wagon for tonight's expedition. Happy that his nudging Fellah in the right direction last night, Papabuff seemed more ready and raring to go as well. "We'll have to be extra careful tonight Papabuff," Fellah said to his lusus. "We're starting to head into some rougher terrain. Just go slow and careful, make sure ya don't hurt yourself." The redblood was careful to warn his lusus. He wasn't sure what he'd do if something happened to Papabuff. With everything said and packed, once again, Fellah headed out in search of the ellusive winterbeast. The terrain was not the easiest on him or Papabuff, but luckily he was able to keep the wagon from falling apart.

Hivestuck My name is: Kolako Thelsi I am in team: redblood My couple is: The Milkman (Cute) and Twinkie Heart (Spirited) I choose option: 1 My current score is: 8 + 1= 9 The music didn't seem to appeal to her cute little gerbils, however! Kolako watched them twirl around the ring in fear, unfortunately not hearing their panic so she could actually do something about it. She watched them twirl in circles, eyes following them with their every movement until she got confused herself and ended up having to hold onto something so as to not fall down herself! Thankfully Papion was there for her, lightly booping her back and keeping her balance straight. Koko breathed. Okay, all was well-- Wait a sec, what was that?!?! Her attention was instantly captivated by a creature under the lake, and Kolako's eyes widened considerably at the sight of her poor gerbils freaking out like that. She was tempted to jump into the fray to save them, but it didn't seem to be allowed, unfortunately. NummCorp did give them some awesome items to cheer them on, though... She wasn't sure if any of them would even work! What even were half these things? She grabbed the pompoms wearily before staring at them peculiarly. Maybe they went in her hair? She tucked them into either side of her mess of hair before beginning to try and cheer them on with worried but cheerful glances. Everything'd be fine!! She hoped.
Hivestuck My name is: Austri Coriol I am in team: Greenblood I am exploring: J22 My current score is: 11 + 2 = 13 Interesting data was on the other side, keeping the young kid interested and piqued for a bit as she strolled along on another path, hearing the telltale signs of her clobbering lusus follow behind her. She sighed and rolled her eyes, realizing that no matter how tense or angry she was toward her guardian, he was as chill as the B.E.E.R. he gulped down by the night. She was bitter and angry, and it was for a reason-- Just the mere act of being alone suddenly made her crave attention from the others around her, and Staglebro wasn't eager to give it. Lost in thought, the kid ended up stepping on something... Not entirely snow. She squinted, then gagged at the sight of it being fish heads-- Hey, hey, maybe the Winterbeast left them there deliberately?? He wanted to be found, right? She wasn't going to come back empty handed, at least. She quickly stomped the ground, trying to use her air pressurization to single out all the fish heads-- but they all flew up, up, up, then all fell down-- Straight on her. Austri then began to whine. "Ugghhh today has been the worst~ Day~ EVER!" She exclaimed, storming away from Staglebro and sitting on a rock nearby and deciding a new spot on the map. As he approached her, Austri squinted. "Let's just go here~!" She murmured, pointing at a spot in the map.

Hivestuck My name is: Lorata Gorgos I am in team: Purple My couple is: Euryale (smart) and Stheno (spirited) I choose option: 3 My current score is: 5 Lorata had pushed on the music expecting it to urge her gerbils on to further greatness. And when the great, victorious tones of an Alternian war tune began blasting out of the speakers, her expectations had only grown instead of changing. If this didn't lead them to victory, nothing would! Except...maybe her gerbils didn't know what victory was because it wasn't helping them along at all! What did they think they were doing out there, screeching and carrying on instead of being beautiful skaters. Didn't they know anything? If only they would get back into synch, maybe there was something to salvage, but at this rate...!
After a long while, they finally started to get it together, as far as she could tell, but then just as suddenly they were off kilter again, kicking up a fuss again. The gerbils were trying to run in opposite directions! Frustrated, she looked around, and there was a loud speaker right there! She grabbed a nearby microphone and turned, switching it on. "Euryale! Stheno! Come on, you can do this! Work together!"
Was it working? They would do whatever she said, right? Were they even listening?Hivestuck My name is: Faithe Keeper/Etsali Azeban I am in team: Orange I am exploring: J25 My current score is: 9 Etsali's smile turned sympathetic as he mentioned the tourist trap he'd ended up in, and she shook her head after a moment. "I haven't seen anything like that out here so far, so hopefully that was the only place like it. Though I guess I really haven't seen much at all, unless snow counts." She cast a glance across the ground and then up. "There's always plenty of that." Her attention drifted back to the map and Ephias gave his opinions on the spot she'd chosen and she nodded agreeably. "A raft really would help a lot, if the water hasn't frozen over much. When I was through there earlier, I didn't look it had."
Delighted with the idea, she started them off towards it and soon enough they'd found the raft he'd mentioned. She glanced doubtfully at the water again, then set to work helping to fix up the raft itself a little. Falling into the river would be...well, more than bad, really, in these temperatures, but it seemed like it would be able to hold up. And thankfully, once they were ready to try it, it did. More on the unfortunate side was the fact that the further they went, the colder it seemed to get. The snow was really starting to pick up.
She was shuddering long before she even saw the cave up ahead. "H-hey, Ephias? Do you see that? Think we can build a fire in there or- or something?"

Hivestuckxx My name is: Dianea Caldon (Luxara Seleni) I am in team: """Yellow""" My couple is: Li'l Cap (Spirited) and Pennii (Cute) I choose option: 1 My current score is: 11 Uh. Well. Uh. That didn't work. Like, at all. Luxara stood there, stunned. Kind of embarrassed, too.
That was too bad moves on her part, and her part alone. And the gerbils had been doing so well, too! Bad move, Seleni! Guess she didn't realize that the sounds were a little overwhelming for those tiny ears. Oh dear.
She took a breath and stood up straighter. No time to focus on her gaffe, not at this point. She needed to get here head in the game and-
Luxara turned her head, tracking unexpected movement. There was something happening with the ice. Underneath. She was too far away to see what for sure, but it was really spooking her gerbils. Her first option was to take action and leap onto the ice to save them, but that could be over nothing. Also, heels. Unless something really happened, like to the point of catastrophe, she decided it would be better to cheer them on. With, uh... Pompoms! Yeah! Why not?
Best case scenario, t might catch their attention and coach them back into shape! Or at least distract them to the point of forgetting what they were worried about. Same difference, right?Hivestuckxx My name is: Dianea Caldon (Luxara Seleni) I am in team: """Yellow""" I am exploring: G-18 Points: 7? Eh, her results from the previous night were okay. The adventure was unfortunately slippery with her boots and all, but Luxara found another something! A fishing pole. Wait, what? Not exactly something she would associate with a wild animal, but okay. A something was a something, as she figured for every night she did this.
If she was going to be honest, this felt more and more like a guessing game all the time. She had no idea how to track it any better despite all the time she was putting into finding the thing. Kind of frustrating for a seasoned hunter like herself. Going back to the map, she had to guess. Mountains were not the best bet (and tortutous), neither lakes from what she understood. She'd take a stab at it and check out the hills. It couldn't hurt. That was her new logic about all this: she wasn't making any stupid moves because she didn't know what was stupid. It was impossible to gauge! Out of her hands.
Luxara just had to go with the flow and hope for the best. She wanted to win, but being frustrated over something she couldn't figure out wouldn't help. Onwards!

Hivestuck My name is: Lutrin Weesil I am in team: Orange My couple is: The Milkman (Cute), and Twinkie Heart (Spirited) I choose option: 3) Lutrinspeaker. My current score is: 6 Lutrin noticed the shadow under the ice after the gerbils did. Several minutes after in fact. Suddenly it made a lot more sense why they had gone berserk. She knew tail biting had not been in the choreography! Still, she thought that maybe they had decided to try some improvisation. It had been odd, but... whatever kept their energy going! Back to the shadow. For a moment, Lutrin debated. How could she encourage her friends to go on with the performance? They had a life of fame and glamour ahead of them! They only needed to ignore their instincts and buckle down to show business. Her eyes wandered to the loudspeaker sitting on a stool nearby. It was for official business only, but... she had been a pretty good commentator during the Grand Snail Race. No one would mind. Besides, this was important. Careful not to draw any attention, Lutrin crept over to the stool. She picked out the loudspeaker and cringed, realising that it was already on. As she picked it up, the speakers squealed. Nevermind that. Important things! Hopping on the stool, Lutrin took a deep breath. The time to saver her gerbils was now. "THE MILKMAN AND TWINKIE HEART! GET OUT OFF THE LAKE NOW, BEFORE WHATEVER THAT THING IS EATS YOU! YOU'VE GOT TO WORK TOGETHER! YOU'VE GOT TO WORK AS ONE. IT'S JUST LIKE WE PRACTISED. I CHOSE YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR UNSHAKEABLE FRIENDSHIP. YOU WERE THE GREATEST GERBILS OF THE BATCH. NOW YOU'VE GOT TO MAKE THE GREATEST ESCAPE. DO IT! USE THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!"

Hivestuck My name is: Degras Tysson (Ephias Sagine) I am in team: Red Points: 1 I am exploring: I22 Ephias nodded. He has his scarf tightly wrapped around his neck and face, but even so his teeth were chattering. Using the long branch he had clipped from a tree with his shears, he steered the raft towards the shore. "Good lookstubs," he managed. "I almost missed it. Fortunately the river was wide and shallow enough that he had no problem navigating to the other side. Within a couple minutes, the edge of the raft bumped against the rocky shore. Motioning for Etsali to depart first, Ephias pulled the raft onto land, several feet from the water. It would be a shame for it to drift down the river if they needed to cross again. "I'll go get the firewood, if you want t-to scout out the cave?" There was no telling what kind of creature might have made its home inside. Etsali, with her profession, would be far better at investigating than he would. "I'll stay close though. If you find anything, just call. I'll... I'll do the same if I run into trouble." Raising his shears, Ephias disappeared into the thick of the trees. - - - Okay, so the cave had been occupied after all. Using their better judgement, Etsali and Ephias decided not to stick around. On one hand, there were two of them, and could tag team their opponent. On the other, they could actually feel the breath of whatever creature slumbered within. And judging from the low growls that rattled the stalactites, it was not friendly. "All right... So, no luck," Ephias said, examining his map. He frowned suddenly. More intensely anyway. "As... as long as we stick together our range is limited. We can cover more ground if we split up. And I don't know about you b-but I'd like to get down to the bottom of this. So..." He pointed at two locations on the map. "I'll try for this spot in the mountains. If you want to head further south, I'll try and meet up with you later..." His expression turned flat again. "Besides, it is a competition." He blinked owlishly at Etsali.

Hivestuck My name is: Leeroi Furore I am in team: Bloo My couple is: Rocket (Cute) Snake (Smart) I choose option: 4, Rockets 4 Rocket My current score is: 6 The music could have not been better! Leeroi felt so proud of himself for being able to orchestrate the crowd like he did. Except, the gerbils didn't seem to follow their cues to the beat very well. Maybe it was a bit too much for them, he wondered, trying to think of ways to improve his perfect robot gerbil performance piece. Leeroi snapped his fingers, smiling with the delight of inspiration. Of course! He knew just how to dazzle the crowd. He ran off, and in a flash returned with a remote controller. He was originally saving this as a last ditch effort, but he might as well use it while he could, otherwise he might forget about it. Flipping on the switch, he ignited the rockets on Rocket's jetpack, causing the small gerbil to spin dangerously on the ice. A dazzling sight, a spectacle for the ages, Leeroi thought, posing proudly. Wait, it could be better, he realized. It could always be better. Leeroi left and returned, this time with more explosives in hand, to shoot off from the sidelines. Some complimentary fireworks were sure to similarly dazzle the audience, he decided, lighting each one off with a proud grin. Hivestuck My name is: Stemma Morgen I am in team: Poiple I am exploring: B20 Stemma pulled her lusus along, breathing heavy as she tried to move him to bring him to the fresh evidence. "Look, look!" She whisper-shouted, jumping up and down to emphasize the excitement of the find. "I think the winterbeast was fishing here!" Stemma explained, pointing out the fishing hole from a few feet away. She was careful not to get too close. Oh, dear...Stemma's eyes narrowed. She loathed being patronized, even if her lusus meant well. I think this is just a regular fishing hole... Anytroll could have made it..."Oh," Stemma harrumphed, tucking her chin into her scarf, closing herself off. She folded her arms, though her thick jacket made it difficult. Do not fret dear, you are just very eager to find the beast. It is understandable. But we are to be calm and reasonable, correct? We will outthink the winter beast with patience.Stemma opened up again. Krampa was right. She felt a little bad for her tiny tantrum. She waddled over to her lusus, hugging him, wanting to be picked up. The large beast kindly took up the offer, rocking his charge in his hugging arms. She could be patient in finding the winterbeast... But perhaps she could convince Krampa otherwise for the other, more dangerous events.

Hivestuck My name is: Mickey Yensid (Cerpin Sugall) I am in team: Yellow My couple is: Steamtrain Express (smart) & Exiled Warrior (Spirited) I choose option: 2) Roses My current score is: 6 Cerpin was totally digging the party music as it played loudly over the speakers. It didn't seem to be doing much for the gerbils but at least every troll in the general area was up on their feet dancing and clapping up a storm. He sang along to the good parts and nodded to the beat while Steamtrain and Warrior did their performance.
He was totally owning this whole gerbil ice skating thing. Maybe he ought to look into getting one himself. He'd seen just how cool they could get over at the gerBRAWL booth. Who didn't want a Gerbil with laser beam eyes?! It wasn't like he didn't have the beetles for it! He began to clap for the gerbils' performances when suddenly a weird disturbance began to happen. Everyone was freaking out, most noticeably the two gerbils!
"Hey, it's okay! You're doing great, Mickey's not gonna let anything hurt you." Grabbing a few roses from the nearby prop tables, Cerpin cooed at his gerbils and put a few flowers down for them to munch on. The roses were a symbolic gesture to praise the performance but the purpleblood wasn't kidding himself, they were really just going to end up eaten.Hivestuck My name is: Amonee Brycer I am in team: Green I am exploring: F21 Points: 10 It had been a long trek looking for this winterbeast but Amonee was certain they were bound to find it at some point. Last night has been a little awkward and uncomfortable huddling together with Nucleo for warmth and the jadeblood wasn't sure why. He loved to make friends and he loved to show affection. Why had this bothered him so much? If only he had an answer! The painter focused on the snowy landscape before them instead to distract himself. Clinging up and over rocky hills and mountains had been great fun and he wondered if someday he'd be exploring uncharted territory someday. He longer to paint the unknown and the beautiful which fueled his intent to play this game of hide and seek.
But in reality, what Amonee loved best was sharing the views of everything he loved in this world with the trolls that mattered most to him.
"It's a good thing we packed soup, I'm getting hungry! What about you?" Taking a moment to rest his feet, Amonee took shelter sitting on a large rock. He rummaged through his bag and pulled out the jars they'd packed earlier for such an occasion. It was incredible to him that Nucleo had made so many soups on top of all the other aspects of his booth. Sure, he had extra hands and extra help but... well, it just made him happy and proud to be friends with such a thoughtful troll. Amonee started on his soup but it was a little cold after traveling around in the snow for a while. But the flavor was still spot on!
"Thanks for coming with me, by the way. This would've been too scary or too boring to do alone!" While the snow glistening in the sunlight would've been beautiful, it just felt too lonely to look for the best without Nucleo.

It was cold, it was wet, well once it melted, and it was hard to see in all this precipitation. Chiara was not a fan of precipitation, be it snow, rain, even fog. It was all just in the way and annoying. The blueblood trudged through the snow, even tho she didn't like it, didn't believe in the stupid winter beast, AND had much better thing she could be doing she entered this darn contest and she was darned if she was going to miss out on there being an actual winterbeast. Chiara stooped down, inspecting an indent in the snow. Well, since no one was REALLY sure what the winterbeast looked like, these could very well be its prints. Chiara decided to give it a go and fallow the things wherever they went. The blueblood was soon rewarded with a pitfall. The snow had packed itself just so that it had concealed a massive hole in the earth. The very hole Chiara fell into here and now. It was sad, seeing the blueblood try and struggle for help as she cursed the snow. Hivestuck My name is: Chiara I am in team: Blue Total Points 8 I am exploring: J22 Chiara laughed as the gerbils ran to and fro in their fear. That was a show in her opinion. Apparently the judges were not in the same mindset as Chiara. The blueblood glared at them. This was entertainment. It figured that they would choose trolls with terrible taste to be the judges. They all looked like booting, pathetic trolls anyway. Chiara tried using some pyromania power and setting one of their coats on fire, but she was, sadly, not a powered troll. It was how things were. There was only so much she could do about it. If only she had a camera on her, then she could savor this moment longer. Watching the stupid beasts react in their stupid beast ways. It was great. With a sigh Chiara decided she had probably tortured the small rodents enough for now. Might as well give them something to snack on. Other contestants were calling them accessories or some such, Chiara knew them as snacks. She pelted fistfuls of the pink greenery at her gerbils, hoping their hunger would get them up and moving again. Hivestuck My name is: Xionek Heronn I am in team: Orange I am exploring: G 18 Keionx had a good idea of how this whole beast-hunting-for-pictures worked by now; interesting that the lumbertrolls held a key piece of the puzzle. She, personally, had never thought much about lumbertrolls before. She supposed they existed - wood had to come from somewhere - but they seemed so... unworthy of stories. Yes she had heard of that one legend about the lumberjack with the bull lusus, but that was just one of many. This time, however, they had really come through. Keionx trekked back into the mountains, feeling at home in it's rocky slopes. Fortified with soup from the Nightly Grind, she crossed icy slopes and traversed ravines. She was a child of Busthind, all the way, and she was at home in the mountainous terrain. She moved with the grace that came of growing up with terrible, precipitous drops all around, careful but confident as she navigated the path. The exertion itself was enough for her to feel that her time was well spent, but of course, she was on the lookout for signs of the winterbeast, and for evidence of its existence. She was sure it did exist. And if it did not exist... Well. It twas not a lie, indeed, if it was a story. The two existed on completely separate planes. She could make up something inspiring about her hike, even if no beast awaited her.

Stunned, she started to wonder if maybe she wasn't as far from pop culture as she'd thought she was. Perhaps she would start a trend and others would learn to appreciate electronic music. It was a weird thought, she supposed. In any case, she was proud to see Steamtrain Express express himself through dance and pleased that The Milkman was truly milking it for all he had. Her gerbils would make it through this performance and then she could free them! It was just a little longer after the crowning ceremony or whatever would happen. She had no plans on her gerbils winning so no one would notice when they disappeared later, right? Or now apparently! Gasping as the ice began to flick with shadows of movement underneath, Tevini nearly bolted herself. She didn't blame her gerbils for getting spooked and truthfully wanted to snack them up and run. She hadn't signed Steamtrain Express up for him to get killed out there in a freak icefish accident! "Give me that that!" Tevini yelped and snatched a loudspeaker from the nearby announcer. Scanning the area for the weird movement she began to call over to her gerbils. "Evacuate! Evacuate! This is not a drill!" Accidentally, her words went with the music. Hivestuck My name is: Nucleo Glatte I am in team: greenblood I am exploring: F21 Score: 10 "Yeah, it'll be cold now but better than nothing!" Nucleo grinned as Amonee pulled out some of the soup he'd packaged earlier. Having clones to help assemble such big quantities had been super useful and made him feel like he'd done something good. It'd eaten at his savings a bit to pass out so much soup for free but he was hoping that it would cause some trolls to come back for more and maybe even buy some actual coffee! From a business standpoint it was still stupid but he didn't know what else to do. He wasn't going to give away his actual coffee for free and then have customers come back later and be disappointed. But that was neither here or now. "'It was no trouble, Amonee. I'm having fun!" The greenblood smiled at his friend. He didn't have the same problems of loneliness due to his power but had different ones related. His clones could've helped him do this tracking event but they would've had the same ideas as him and maybe they wouldn't have ended up here with this spectacular view. There was something special about working together with another troll besides himself. He was getting a little sentimental now oops! "'Next time we should bring Xavier. I bet he would've loved this." It was true. The trek had been full with lots of challenges but there was also beauty in the scenery. It was something he hoped all trolls could experience at some point! There was just something grand about these travels through nature! "Oh hey, what's that over there?"

Hivestuck My name is: Elidae Bonbon I am in team: Yellowww! My couple is: Janderbilt (cute) and Twinkie Heart (spirited) I choose option: 1 My current score is: 12 The pop music filled the stands, saturating the air with energy and fun. The crowds of trolls seemed to take this as their cue to start a dance party in the middle of Elidae's performance! While she didn't entirely mind, her gerbils still spun around adorably on the nice in their confusion, it drove their attention away from them. She knew the romantic music would have been a better choice! No matter, Elidae clapped and cheered for her gerbils. "You're doing such a fantastic jooob~! Win their pity!" She was so proud of them! They were doing so well!
Oh gog. Staring on in horror, Elidae saw something moving under the nice, a dark figure looming underneath her wiggling pair. Oh no. Oh no. In a fit of panic, Elidae tried to figure out how to lure her fuzzy friends back over to her and out of harms way! What could she use? They were already in a state of panic just like herself, so she didn't want to terrify them even more! She considered using the loudspeaker briefly, but wondered if the noise would hurt their tiny gerbil ears. So instead, she found a pair of pompoms, ready to bring her gerbils over with a buoyant cheer! "RAH-RAH, Never fear! RAH-RAH Gerbils, get the heck over here!
Hivestuck My name is: Malice Ragoon I am in team: Blue I am exploring: B20 Trudging through the snow for who knows how long, Malice kept her steel gaze locked on the perimeter, eyes flickering back and forth searching for anything. Anything. In this vast, wintry hellhole wasteland, there had to be something to give her an idea of where to find the winterbeast. Arm crossed over her for some extra warmth, Malice noticed a large cavern, probably very old, in the distance. Perhaps that would be a good place to look. Animals liked dark, secluded spaces, especially in this kind of weather. Holding her jacket closer to herself, Malice trekked up the snowy mountainside, Dragondad somewhere behind her keeping a watchful eye. It was growing colder, as icicles began to form around her horns and snow built up in her hair and lashes. She could barely see in the blistering fog.
Staring at the gigantic gap of an opening, she leered into the pitched darkness. She sniffed. The occasional drip echoed from deep inside. It would probably be stupid to venture all the way in, especially when she had no way of knowing where she was going. Well. Maybe if she got a little closer inside, she'd be able to hear or find something instead. Even if it was risky, the blueblood leaned on the rocks on the side of the cave to keep her steady and not get lost. As she moved in, she heard a noise. Not just any noise, but a growl. Pausing for a moment, the blueblood instantly began to turn back. Nope. She most definitely did not have a death wish and from the grizzlebeast confrontation, she learned by now not to poke. Perhaps she would try elsewhere.

DAY 6: MAY 14TH. Quote: => MAIN POST =>DAILY CHOICE DAY 5 RESULTS Let's see how your two ice stars are getting along! 1)+1 point The classic pompom is a safe and sure method of boosting team morale. You jump up and down and use the pompoms to try and distract your gerbils – fortunately, it seems to get their attention! The more they look at the fluffy gerbil-themed pompoms, the more at ease they feel. Crisis averted. IF you have a Spirited Gerbil: +2 additional points Your gerbil starts to jump up in excitement! A friend to play with, hooray! It’s quite amusing, and the audience forgets about whatever was under the ice as well! 2)+3 points You toss the roses at the gerbils!! As rodents can sometimes do, the gerbils scuttle towards their newfound salad and began to munch. Awww! IF you have a Beautiful Gerbil: +2 additional points Roses raining down around such beautiful creature? The audience is practically in tears from the shimmering beauty before them. 3)+3 points and -3 points The sound jars your gerbils and they immediately try to identify the source of the noise. Unfortunately, so does whatever else is under the surface! A few immense cracks appear on the ice and the audience cheers wildly! Yayyy!!! However, it seems your gerbils are momentarily catatonic. Booo. IF you have a Smart Gerbil: +2 additional points The gerbil wastes no time in coming towards you as it hears the loudspeaker, and this “trick” nets you some fan points! 4)+2 points You fire off some rockets and they explode in the sky! So beautiful! The audience is distracted from the figure below that lights up ominously in the light of the eruption. That was a few seconds of not having to rely on gerbils for entertainment. Nice! IF you have a Cute Gerbil: +2 additional points The sparkling eyes of the cute gerbil in the blazing light of the explosion are simply precious. GERBIL DANCING DAY 6 Now that that “incident” is over, it’s time for the finale: Actually trying to get these gerbils to do SOME kind of dance. Fortunately, NummCorp has provided ample treats, so you pick up a carrot like the minstrel of the breeze that you are and set out to conduct a masterpiece. What do you try? 1) Polka. 2) Waltz. 3) Mosh. 4) Interpretive. =>SUBMISSION CODE
My name is: yernamehere I am in team: yerbloodcolorhere

Thinking it too good to be true you take a walk around it instead and look for clues, finding a perfect indentation in the mud of a big back, thick arms and little pokey horns. F21 +3 points - Near a thick cluster of trees in this heavily forested foothills you spot what appears to be a winterbeast scratching post! Right next to a winterbeast backscratching post and what could be a winterbeast loo. G18 +2 points - Some snow has fallen on this pristine peak, so there's not much to see. However, looking down the valley you think you can spot a clue! J22 +0 point - The top of the mountain leads you to a strange little hut inhabited by a troll who threatens you with their shotgun before trying to push you down the mountain. Welp. J25 +1 points - Down the mountain you spot winterbeast tracks giving lots of distance to a tiny shack you spot on top of the hill. You also spot a troll rolling down said hill. Hmmm.
