A body slam was simple but effective. Even more effective after all the torment Renegade's torso had been through. Though his back had slapped the canvas, the sting on his ribcage never went away, and Young had closed his eyes, holding his sides with his hands as if he had healing powers. Spoiler alert: he didn't.

The sharp elbow of Bad Boy crashed into Renegade's chest. Of course he would want to move, but he was stuck under the Rumble winner's weight. While Young had tried to be flashy to get an appeal from the audience, Bad Boy did whatever worked. Perhaps the California Kid would have to make some slight changes to his approach if he wanted a chance to pull off a major upset tonight.

And at two and a half, Renegade had thrown his arm out to lift the shoulder. His body had been battered by the Rumble winner's calculated ruthlessness, but it would take a lot more to injure the California Kid's will to compete.

Young rolled over to his knees, again towards the ropes. He put his arms out and finally reached the middle ropes, trying to push himself up for leverage. One thing that smelled defeat for Renegade: the fact that Bad Boy wasn't in sight. He turned around to find out where Bad Boy would be coming from next.

Another vicious kick to the gut. A lot of viewers at home thought nothing of it, but the agonizing pain Renegade's chest and stomach had gone through made a simple kick to the gut that much more painful. He was lifted in the air and hoisted on Bad Boy's shoulder, and before Young could even attempt an elbow, he was spiked onto the back of his head! The crowd gave a shocked reaction as the California Kid was folded on the back of his neck, his legs and torso sticking straight up in the air before his momentum brought him flat on his back. He was seeing more stars than a night under the Sebastapol sky.

As soon as Charles Robinson was going to slap the mat for the three count, Renegade shot his shoulder up and immediately back down. The crowd cheered after Young was able to break the count. He was getting his a** kicked, but getting his a** kicked with heart! The crowd was happy to see this match go on.

After rolling to his knees, Young tried to push himself up after a couple seconds, but dropped back down to the mat like a sack of potatoes. He looked dazed and confused from the vicious powerbomb he just took. It was like Bad Boy was trying to break his ******** neck! Renegade finally wobbled to his feet and slowly turned his body until he was facing his opponent.

Renegade was hoisted on top of Bad Boy's shoulders and did enough homework to see where this could be headed. He went for hard elbows to the temple of Bad Boy and wiggled his body around to slip himself out of the Rumble winner's fatal grasp!
