Terry’s sheepish smile slowly turned into a worried frown as Seung explained his eating habits. “Forgetting to eat tends to happen to us all at times but why don’t you eat enough for the workouts?” He asked and then tilted his head a bit to give the other a once over. “You are counting the calories you need now that you are a Knight aren’t you?” he asked with a blink, not sure if he had ever brought up the fact that they needed to eat more when talking about being a Knight. He had found that out maybe a month or so after he had first powered up when he started to get tired a bit easier and had lost some weight. With that in mind he wondered if it was possible the other hadn’t noticed it just yet since he was still new and hadn’t started to adjust his meals for it. Might even be one of the reasons why he had found him at the clinic getting the IV. “We need more calories since we go through them quicker.”

“Counting calories...no.” Why would he? He ate healthy and good meals, he ate enough and three times a day. He hadn’t really thought beyond that. “Never have.” He added after a moment as he let his eyes drift closed, enjoying the time here with Terry. It was nice, he wasn't tired per say but he was feeling comfortable and lazy. Why would he need more calories...those made you gain weight...he didn’t want to gain weight…
“My weight is fine.” He added after a few moments of silence.

Terry looked at him for a moment before pulling out his phone with one hand and started to type away. He didn’t speak up until he found what he was looking for then turned his phone so Seung could see it. On the screen was a clear chart with numbers for weight next to numbers for height. “Seung, this is the minimum amount that you should weigh at your height with your frame. Do you weigh that much?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.

He was wondering what the other was doing, why he’d gone for his phone and what he was typing. When he saw he stared for a moment before the other asked his question and he shook his head before skimming his finger over the chart and then stopped at his height but when he skimmed for his weight, finger moving up the chart, he stopped and pointed up...it wasn’t listed at all...it would have put him at under five foot two in height.
“Not here.” He said innocently enough, even as he tried to hide in the others shoulder as he had a distinct feeling he knew what was to come next...or at least an idea.

Terry took a deep breath then turned his phone back to himself and started to type again. When he found what he was looking for he put in the needed data then turned it back to Seung. “This is the amount of calories you need in order to maintain your weight.” One quick edit later and another number showed up. “But seeing how you are under your needed weight you would need this so you could gain weight first.” He kept his voice as steady as he could. He couldn’t blame him for not knowing he needed to eat more thanks to being a Knight, even though it was obvious he wasn’t eating quiet enough before that happened.

Underweight? He wasn’t underweight, he was just where he should be. He would have said something but instead he looked at the others cell phone screen for a moment, to where he had it set to gain weight. Using his finger he moved it to maintain and nodded then. “Don’t want to get chubby.” He didn’t need to gain weight but maintaining it was good, as the other had pointed out being a knight and those needs.

“I’m not saying to get chubby, I’m saying you need to gain at least a little bit more weight to be healthy.” Terry said and moved it back down to gain. “Honestly if you haven’t weighed yourself since you became a Knight you have probably lost weight so you would need to gain it back.” He said and shook his head. “It’s no wonder you got overworked, if you aren’t at a healthy weight and aren’t eating the needed amount of calories then that would easily lead to you getting tired.” He was trying very hard not to get worried about the fact that Seung was adamant that he was the right weight.

“Would be chubby is gained more, would be pointed out.” He added the last part as an afterthought, after a pause even to think about it. His friends, when he went home, would point out any weight gain he had. “Could weigh myself...maybe have…” Had he possibly lost weight? If so then yes, he’d have to gain it back, if not he was going to maintain it.
“If I’ve lost...I’ll gain it back.” He said, and he did mean it. He just wasn’t into gaining weight and getting chubby, at least he saw it as such. “Overworked...was always, before knight.” He said while stretching out against the other, ignoring the leg he had draped over the others waist, and how damn close they were.

Terry let out a groan and hid his face in Seung’s shoulder. “Darling I don’t think you realize that you would not in fact get chubby. To I look chubby? Because I’m over the recommended weight for my height and frame but the weight over is muscle. If either of us is chubby then it’s me and you gaining needed weight would only make you look healthier rather than make you chubby.” He wasn’t sure how he was going to explain and convince the other that adding on the needed pounds would not make him chubby.
“Your body isn’t meant to be particularly big sure but there is a difference between being lean and being underweight when you are active.” The comment about being overworked before was something he had known but add it to the fact that his boyfriend clearly didn’t understand that when you were the recommended weight you weren’t chubby made him worried. He was going to end up with a long list of things to watch out for soon, he just knew it.

Being called darling, something he wasn’t expecting, caught his attention and had him staring down at the others head. Petting his hair gently. When the other asked if he thought he was chubby he was going to answer, tell him he wasn’t because he wasn’t, but Terry was going on and telling him he was over the weight on the chart listed for him. “Am underweight? Look underweight? Look bad?” He asked while turning his dark eyes down toward himself as he waited for an answer.
Did he look bad? Did he look..too small? He didn’t think so, he’d never had a comment about that leveled at him. He wasn’t vain, he didn’t think so anyway, but he cared about his looks and while he wasn’t aware of it really he did have some issues with appearance, and maintaining it. It was why he kept to his weight, worked out (even though it had started for other reasons), got his nose done and why he took care of himself as he did.
Lifting Terry’s head from his shoulder he sought the others eyes for a moment. “Truth.”

Terry let his head be lifted then slightly shook it. “No, you don’t look bad. You do at times look smaller then what you probably should though.” He said in complete honesty, looking him back in the eyes. “I’ve ignored it since you seemed to be naturally on the smaller side anyway but there have been times where you have looked just a bit too small.” Before now he had figured it was something that came naturally to the other as he had met people like that. He had done his best not to let the times where he had looked at the way the other’s clothes were on him and wondered at how tiny he seemed to be when he was only two inches shorter bother him. Now though he was worried.
“When I first became a Knight, I didn’t realize just how many calories I was burning. I started getting just a bit more tired earlier, wanted to sleep in more, and had at times not necessarily wanted to go skating like I normally do.” He said with a shrug. “My family is active, we are very much a get up and go type of family at times so we are used to making sure we get the right meals to balance that out. Mom was the one who caught what was going on first, though of course I was the only one who knew why I was losing weight, so she went a bit overboard trying to compensate which is why I’m actually over my intended weight at the moment. Because we were trying to learn just what my balance was.” He then shook his head again. “My point is, if you were already not at the weight you are meant to be at then the longer you aren’t there or trying to get there, the more affected you are going to be with losing weight as a Knight.”

Listening to the other he understood what he was saying, he wasn’t going to ignore the others words or his concerns and worries. Though he hadn’t ever thought or seen it himself, the looking smaller or too small part, he did accept the other was concerned and worried about him. It was, perhaps, a bit hard to do so when he’d never seen it himself but everyone had an opinion and saw different things. “I am...many Asian on smaller side.” But apparently the other saw him sometimes as too small? While it wasn’t a huge concern for him it was for Terry and he had mentioned that he might have lost weight due to being a knight, and the duties which came with it. That he would look into. “Can weigh self...see if I’ve lost.” And try to at least regain that.
“Mother knows about you being a knight?” He asked wondering if the others mother did indeed know, since it seemed they’d been trying to figure things out and that meant telling her - right? So she understood the needs…
“If I lost weight - will regain it.” He would do that and see where it went...he wasn’t going to promise anything as he really didn’t like the idea of weight gain...it just seemed like he’d get chubby but that was, unknown to him really, a mindset that was there from culture and how people viewed each other and such. It wasn’t something he saw in himself because it was there in people around him - till now.

Terry gave a reluctant nod, starting to think that just making sure Seung get back to the weight he originally was is going to be the best he would get for now. It was better than nothing but he would prefer if the other would at least consider adding a few more pounds to see if he felt better afterwards. “I know, it was another reason why I hadn’t mentioned that you looked a bit too small earlier than now.”
“Sort of? I haven’t outright told her like I have Matt but sometimes I think she suspects.” He gave a shrug. On one hand it would be nice to let his parents know so they would know the reasons why he was willing to continue being a Knight but on the other hand he was hesitant as he didn’t want to make them worry more than they already would just from being parents.
“If you can get back to the weight you originally were and still feel overworked then can you at least think about adding a few more?” He said after a moment of silence. It seemed like they both were going to be stubborn on this issue so he would have to find a different angle to convince Seung that he would feel better and be healthier if he listened. For one he can always see about bringing him over for more meals, making sure he had snacks on hand when they went out…

Laughing he nodded his head, sort of made sense. He couldn’t, and wouldn’t, tell his own family but he could see hinting at something, not that he could do it. It was good that Terry had told someone though, someone he could talk to about what happened as a knight.
Could he? If he still felt tired and overworked would he gain abit more than his usual weight? If he did feel chubby, or look it, he could lose the weight with ease he supposed. Biting down on his bottom lip, using the leg he had about the others waist to roll them so Terry lay under him. Lips pressed to the others. “Will try, if need to.” He would try but only if it was needed, he could drop the weight if he needed to. It just would mean bit more time in the gym or now martial arts training.
