At band camp we were learning drill with the drum line and our instructor just gave us new work. I was supposed to stand still for 16 counts let a quad pass in front of me then do this walk around thingy around him.The whole time he kept comeing really close to me and I kept having to stop my work so he could pass then tell him to fix himself. We ran through the set one more time and I threw my rifle triple but it was too slow, the wind caught it and knocked the drummer down. I felt so bad, but at the same time it was partially his fault.

Ahh, I think I like this thread. Well, being the douches we are, the drumline section leaders(Me and seven others) decided that the guard needed a little payback for all the pranks they'd pulled on us. Well, we put itching powder into their uniforms, added a little weight(in a way I'd rather not mention) to their hats so they'de be off balance and fall off, and put heat activated powder glue in their shoes. So, we get out on the field, the guard's hats are falling off, all of them are itching, and they notice they can't remove they're shoes...Meanwhile, the intire drumline was laughing it's a** off. Well, let's just say they figured out, they then, in one big mass of guard, rushed at us, unable to keep a strait path because of the itching. They kept running into eachother and falling over until all but about ten were left standing. Well, nothing really happened to the line except getting in trouble, but the guard had three people with broken arms, four with broken legs, one with a broken foot, and two with cracked ribs. Maybe next time the guard won't be as big of dumbasses and run at us with there stupid stick things and fall on top of them and other people.

Let's see... I did a double parallel on my rifle and it hit my forhead! Popped a few blood vessles in my head which made me grow a third eye like The Hunchback. Which then developed a black eye for 2 weeks.

It took me two and a half years, but i finally nailed the parallel toss...the only toss i'm afraid of...it spins like a helicopter over your head. I got so excited because i did it right, then i forgot to catch it. I had a black eye for a week.
Then there was a time during a competition my freshman year: I had just gotten a tooth pulled and had stitches put in my mouth. It was really windy on the field and my flag smacked me in the mouth and knocked out my stitches. I kept going, though. My mouth was full of blood as we marched off the field, and I was crying, but I finished the routine still smiling (even if it was a pained one).

When we were performing for the Board of Directors of our School Board, the mallet head of my mallet popped off and hit the senior member, who happened to be the bald guy, in the head! And it was an extremely heavy and hard one to boot!
