With a laugh, Cesc threw a quick snowball back at Zurine, trying to get her before she had a chance to get him after his disastrous throw.

Nehdudir quickly jumped to meet with the snowball once his attention was called to it, biting the snow and chewing on it the best that he could.
Rather than pelting Cesc with another blow, Ethiriel momentarily turned her attention from him and instead attempted to aim it somewhere else, she couldn't help but turn back to the stag and toss another his way with a great laugh.

Zuri was laughing as the snowball thumped into her, letting herself be knocked back into the snow. After all, she was going down there anyway -- and she surfaced with another big snowball, directing it back at him. "It's a good thing I -like- snow down my clothes," she retorted cheerfully.

Nell's shot hit Claire full on - not to say she didn't deserve it for the awful fireball she had shot at her earlier, and she laughed as she went down dramatically (with enough flair to put her husband's dramatics to shame). All business again, she packed another shot off and lobbed it at someone who had targeted her earlier, Lazarus.
"Head's up!" she shouted and let it fly with a grin - it landed smack in the Raevan's back. "Gotcha!"

Cesc dodged an errant throw aimed at someone else--he turned slightly to see that it hit Laz--and reared back to throw at Eth.
That's when he heard what Zurine said, and holy crap, what did she say?! Cesc misfired, only grazing Ethiriel's arm, and turned back toward Zurine with wide eyes and parted lips.

While her words had him distracted, Zuri loomed up over Cesc with her bare arms full of snow, and dumped it directly on him with a broad 'I win!' grin on her face, her eyes twinkling with absolute glee.

For the moment, Cesc allowed them to win, thudding back down on the ground with his mind whirling and his eyes still on Zuri.
Shepard, who had stayed back to watch the goings-on with a grin, actually began to laugh at that point.

Claire admittedly felt a little bad about pelting Nell so mercilessly - not to mention there were so many folks on her team who were having far too much good luck. Deciding to even the odds, Claire switched sides with a mischievous smile, and set her sights on Ethiriel.
"Look out!" she called and heaved a snowball at her; alas, her traitor's luck caught up to her and it instead headed lazily towards Seabiscuit for his catching pleasure.

"Ow!" He was hit in the back when he was kneeling down to gather snow for a new snowball. So he didn't see who it was from. However, he has his eyes set on a new target.
Lazarus was aiming for Zurine, as he figured that so far, trying to hit Mordekai had only resulted in failure and swift revenge. However, this is proving to be fruitless as well as he watches his snowball misses the ice Raevan magnificently. Going vastly off course and disappearing into some bushes near her with a rustle.

Since the last few failed attempts, Lazarus changed his strategy. Ducking behind his team mates, he made his way across the snowy battlefield, trying to get closer to his targets while trying to not get hit. With a firmer grip on his snowball, he flung it towards the target that is now closest to him - Shep.
Lazarus cursed under his breath as the snowball grazed the man's arm, not hitting him hard enough but is surely to draw his attention now.

Well, wasn't that a fun development! She gave Claire a quick grin and a thumbs up before scooping up another handful of snow and once again pelting Shep with it.

Her next target was Ronan, even though he didn't seem to be quite as active as a few of his other teammates. And though her hit was slightly off-center, it had a decent amount of force behind it.

She spotted Zurine dumping an armful of snow on one of her teammates as she was forming her next snowball, and while she was sufficiently distracted with with that, Nell took aim and threw.
Not terribly well, but a glancing blow was better than missing entirely, right?
