She tried to imagine how good Johnny Danger would look with buttwings, but then all she could see in her mind was Piggy Danger with buttwings, and she found it just a little harder to be impressed. "That's what we loves aboutchyeh, Johnny Danger - we never knows what yehr goings teh be ups teh next. I promise yeh one things, yehr fans are never goings teh get tireds of seeing whats on the horizon." She snapped her fingers, and the whirr of her camera shutting off was followed by the tiny red light blinking out of existence. Freya took a deep breath, and the professional attitude she'd been feigning for the interview slowly started to fade away. What would have normally followed was the buzzing excitement of a rabid fan, but a lot had happened in the past two years. Enough, in fact, to warrant Freya's completely different reaction to a private conversation with the rock star. She furrowed her brow, and took him by the chin with two fingers. "Listen. This is just yeh and me now. What's goings on with this pig thing? Are yeh really okay?"

Lottie hid behind a prop, crouched down on the ground as she sniffled and rapidly posted on her online diary about her all-time, fantasized and star-studded crush being a complete lie. Since it was not possible to slouch more, JD's posture hardly changed as the cameras flicked off. "Yeah, it's all good. Miss Winter wigged out on me an' Deacon for like, interrupting class, so the principle enswined us, like, literally. Being wigged-out-pigged-out gets my dad off my back, at least," he found himself confiding uncharacteristically. "Deacon got better though, so I'm sure it's all cool." Cool in school. That was a good one, he mentally made note of it. "What about you babezilla? You're all like, professional and jazz. It's pretty hella." It occurred to him that he barely knew anything about the rest of the student body, and no one had really bothered asking how he was doing before so he felt oddly obliged to return the favor. It was almost... nice.

Ah. A completely legitimate and reasonable explanation. Freya would make sure to leave that out when she wrote up her interview. She felt comforted in the fact that even Johnny Danger was the kind of guy who, in truth, just did things to get his parents to back off, so that he could try to live his life. It made him a little more real, though going to school with him for so long had already managed to do that somewhat, after the dust had settled. She clicked her tongue and winked with pride. "Ja, somebody up there likes me, hah? It was a lot crazier when I was modeling, I was always on the roads, partyings, meetings people and makings connections, but it wasn't what I wanted. That was what I wanted," She nudged her head fondly to the side, where her husband was holding their child. "His name's Peder. Looks so much like his daddy, doesn't he? Who, by the way, I sees yeh flirting with, yeh nasty boil." She reached in and pinched him in the stomach, but by the laughing tone of her voice, she was clearly not actually upset. "So now, my works is mostly online. Reporting, gossiping, keepings people up teh dates.. it's fun! And I don't miss anything backs at home by doings it." She looked at the pig faced boil she'd once known, and her expression turned contemplative, and worrisome. "If yeh ever needs teh just.. talks." She offered, feeling a little ridiculous for even saying it. "I means, no cameras. Just friends. Yeh knows I'm here. Okays?"

Scarelings. Whoa. One of his classmates already had a scareling. That was a bit of a shocker. Somehow he felt extremely less cool, like maybe he should stop woman-or-man-izing everything that moved and try to do something with his life. Or not. "The road," he began, whipping out a sweet pair of aviators from a pocket, "is totally like definitely not for everyone." Hair flip. "But I dig you, chick. That totally makes sense. It's like...cool." He paused. "That you know what you want. And stuff." As for JD, what he like really especially wanted was probably some eye scream, and to maybe book an appointment with certain professors, because he felt a little teensy bit guilty for making people (other than his dad and the ever nagging PR team) worried. "Yeah, yeah, we should hang," he finished lamely. He had never really done the whole 'friend' thing, so he was completely uncertain on how to continue. Teammates, yes, flings, totally, but the only things he'd ever really tried to bare his heart to had been microphones and other inanimate objects. The idea of talking to well, another Halloweener, was almost unsettlingly alien. "I'll shoot you a screemail or somethin'."

She felt the chances of him actually reaching out to her were slim, but that never stopped her from feeling the need to offer. Johnny D- JD deserved a little less loneliness, just as much as anybody else did. "Sounds like fun. I'll be waitings. Now go gets yehrself into all sorts of trouble, before I start to forgets how much of a rock star yeh are." She reached out, and wrapped both of her arms around him in a classic, obnoxiously warm Freya hug. Then she let him go, and booted him out of her photobooth. "ACH. Wait." She yelped, realizing what she'd just done. She pulled him back to the booth, snapped her phone out, and held it up high until both of their faces were showing on the screen. Her lips pursed and her expression turned demure and sexy. "Say cheese, Johnny." She murmured, snapping at least four hundred selfies in the span of ten seconds.

"Please be careful, Screechart~ I am rather muddy." Needle warned her boilfriend as she felt his hand on her waist, pulling her in for a side hug. Despite her warning though, she leaned against him slightly, just enough to press against him for a short moment. It would be a shame to ruin his lovely clothing, however, she couldn't resist any tiny form of affection she could get.
"You flatter me, Mr. Blacke, and here I am in my muddy track clothing." Needle gave a slight sigh, one that was well practiced as she hid behind a thin layer of modesty. More importantly though, the small child as being introduced to her, and naturally that ended up with all of her attention from that point on.
"Ah, yes, the infamous little Peder!" She had heard about him from Muka, had been aware of several little presents that had come from the both of them, but she had yet to meet the little tyke. The Engraver wiggled her purple stained fingers at him, and found herself smiling brightly at his attempt at their names. Especially Muka's. That was too cute.
"Did you hear that, darling? He almost has it!" The Engraver coo'd as eagerly as she could manage, turning her head away for only a moment to look at Muka, then back at the little Peder. It had been so long since she had been around any form of small fledgling creature, and this one was absolutely adorable. Being careful of her arms, Needle reached out and spider-crawled her chilly fingers against Peder's small - and apparently slightly sticky - arm. "Yes, little one, you are quite talented." She assured him pleasantly.

Shun needed a break from watching people practically killing themselves with spicy sushi. And so he left the booth to Akane (or maybe it was just empty) while he began to wander about idly. With his hands in his pockets, he eventually came upon a peculiar booth with several familiar faces. Freya.Time to keep walking.

Muka giggled a bit, "I hope you did better than I did, erhrm, my run was terrible!" Yet here he stood spotless. Maybe he got changed... hmmm.. what was his secret? The strix was charmed by his ghoulfriend with Peder and he leaned a bit on his cane, also waggling his fingers at the little boil. He sorta of had a billion questions about what having a scareling was like, but seemed to have the sense not to flood his friend with questions. "Yes it's like.." He made smush motions with his hands, "A tiny... full sized person!" Yeah, he's real sharp.

He laughed at Needle's response and decided to focus on his two friends again, rather than the fact that he'd just been winked at. "You're always lovely, Needle. I don't know what you speak of," he said in a flattering but also somewhat teasing tone. Of course he saw her outfit and the fact that she looked like she just lost a wrestling match with a bit of mud, but she still looked lovely. "Please! Just call me Kettil! No need to be Mr. Blacke so soon," he laughed.
Kettil heard his son shriek with laughter at the new sensation of having chilly fingertips touch upon him. The Muut smiled down at the small boil in his arms, "Such a good boil he is," he said proudly in response to Needle and Muka's observations.
Peder was still going 'dledledle' for a few seconds and yet more babbling before he just settled into squeaking his rubber toy and staring up at Muka hopefully. "Deedledeedle?"

"I believe I did quite well." Needle, though her posture was already impeccable, somehow managed to stand a little straighter with pride. "I am sorry to have missed yours." She really was: she would have loved to watch his run. It would have been a grand experience! Peder provided a great distraction for her disappointment, and the way her charming boil friend summed up children was pretty much perfect.
"Indeed! Except little ones are a more sizeable amount of work and energy." A smile toyed on her lips as the little reaper shrieked with laughter, and it spurred her to ghost her cold fingers against his arm once more. "How do you manage to keep up, Kettil?" It seemed like a very important question, but as Peder continued to babble attempts at her name (or rather, simply noises that sounded like her name now), she gave a small sigh.
"Oh, I wish I could hold one." She said quietly, mostly to herself. She hadn't been able to hold Nail either, but that was more due to Clan Rules than it was the obvious spikes through both her arms.

Lottie, having finished her long winded rant on her Diary Blog on her phone, slowly came out of hiding. Her eyes were puffy and red from sobbing over the loss of her idol('s physical appearance). However, she stood tall, brushed off her skirt, and tried to look presentable. After all, a beautful ghoul like her ought to be out schmoozing and----OH MY JACK, A BABY!
Lottie grinned, scuttling up somewhere behind the Owl and Needled Woman. The little one was being held by an impossibly handsome and tall reaper. Oh dear, a father! He looked so young and.. pretty and...
And now the baby was forgotten, and Lottie was making goo-goo eyes at the tall, very taken man. Somehow he was even more handsome with a little one in his arms. Maybe.. maybe he was just babysitting....
And so Lottie dissolved into day-dreaming about them going on dates and eating submarine sandwiches five feet in length and winning cooking contests and baking sweets as elderly people.

"Congrats on doing well, Needle." Kettil said sincerely to Needle simply being part of the conversation and keeping track of everyone as best as he could. Kettil continued to hold his son who was now wiggling about a little in his arms in an effort to explore a little more about his surroundings, that is until Peder's eyes caught the gaze of a ghoul that was standing near Muka and Needle.
Kettil grinned easily at Needle and simply shrugged, "I think it depends on the scareling. My youngest sister, when she was first born, was pretty mellow at first and easy to take care of. Peder is a bit more energetic and curious about stuff so .. We're usually trying to keep up with him as best we can..."
There were accidents now and again. They happened.
"Can't prevent everything, just gotta let them learn." He said after he had gone briefly silent in thought.
"Papa! Papaaaaa," Peder was pointing at Lottie, but by that point Kettil was looking directly at Lottie as well. The Muut had felt eyes upon him after being oblivious to it at first.
Kettil gave Lottie a grin, "Hey there! Here to get some gossip? Maybe see some of the latest trends?" He winked at Lottie playfully. "Maybe even wanna make a beadwork bracelet? We also have a station for uh... Selfies!"
"Fies!" Peder repeated after his father dutifully and also squeezed his rubber toy.

"E-eh?" Lottie blinked. Oh crap. She'd been caught ogling like a fool. Play it cool, play it cool... She chuckled then, flipping a pigtail over her shoulder, only to have her nails get caught in some stray hairs. She ignored this and pretended to rub her neck. "Wow, yeah I love bracelets." She tried not to swoon over the sexy wink. "And beads... an trends. Yep. Love'em all."
