Rishima Post 3Rishima gave Gerraden a smile before giving him a kiss on the forehead, "You've always been such a sweet guy, Gerraden, thank you." He always was such a nice guy, cheering Rishima on no matter what, and he was rather good at putting him in a better mood. With the encouragement he was given he turned toward the elders of the Leaf and Shifter tribes before he drew in a deep breath, let it out slowly, and said, "They want to see about talking things over with our sisters, to find a peaceful solution for all of this. I should likely try to help, huh? I can't just hide here and hope my presence is over looked by both the Earthlings and our sisters." His antennae gave a rapid, thoughtful twitch, before he looked to Gerraden, "I am going to see if there is anything that I can do to help. You can come along with me or wait here." He told him, giving him a quick kiss before he fetched his spear and walked toward where the elders were waiting. Best that he chatted with them, offered his help, he wanted peace, wanted to protect his sisters from a possible war, and keep people from killing each other. The loss of anyone from either side was a loss he didn't want to see happen and if there was anything that he could do to help then surely he should do it, right? He couldn't say how well people from either side might listen to him but he wouldn't let that deter him. As he walked toward the two elders he did so at a slow pace, not wanting to seem in any manner aggressive. Upon reaching where they stood he gave a bow of his head, "Elders, if you would allow me to do so I want to offer any aid I can when it comes to talking to my sisters. I want to do whatever I can to try to avoid a war."

YEJIDE POST 3
Yejide grimaced when the leaders spoke up. They can't expect to just talk about it forever. There would be action eventually, and she hoped sooner than later. The faster this little powwow was over, the sooner she could decide whether she needed to disappear for a while.
Though from the looks of it, all that she missed from the last war, she would be making up in this one.
She huffed and leaned back against one of the trees. She couldn't even claim to no anyone around here to keep her company. It wasn't her decision that was for sure, which meant she was suddenly bored.

MIRIN POST 3
Mirin was still watching the stage, intent on listening, when she felt a nudge at her side. Confused she looked down to see a radaku trying to nuzzle up. "Oh... hello there." She brushed its coat and rubbed it down. It was friendlier than most she had met. There was something familiar about this one's face though...
She turned her head, trying to find an owner and spotted Ouen. The memory of their daring rescue came back to her and she looked down at the radaku nudging her legs. "Oh oh oh! Aren't you looking good?" She chuckled and faced Ouen. "Good to see you're taking care of him and it wasn't all for nothing." She cocked her head to the side.
"What do you make of all this mess, huh?"

Phaedra Post 3 Her attention was caught when she heard murmured words nearby. She would agree that there were some that didn't listen to reason. Hell, even the half breeds didn't listen half the time. However, she thought once more about the boy she'd come into conflict with down in Neued. Phaedra moved a bit closer to the boy responsible for the words and gave a small cough. "The ones that love and are loved by earthlings might see reason." She might not want to simply step aside and let the Alkidike's take whatever they wanted, but she couldn't ignore the ignorance she'd had in the past. A Matori had been ready to risk everything to defend the name of one warrior woman. Surely she wasn't the only one then. --------------------- Syqvara Post 3As she searched through the crowd for her brother her eyes came upon a familiar face. Chandra. Sy's face lit up and she started toward him but stopped after a few steps. Would he even want to see her? Her eyes wet back out to the gathered people as he looked for the tell tale sign of her brother's hood. When Enki mentioned war she froze and went wide eyed. Unable to seriously comprehend the thought of another war she lowered her eyes to the ground. Her father had died in the last war, who would die in the next?

Vukasin- post 3
Vuka was surprised to hear a voice so near to him and it took him a moment even then to realize it was addressing him. His brows raised as he turned to face a young Leaf woman and he offered her a nod. He might have sounded rather ignorant with that little statement, mightn't he? Bah, that was why he tried to keep his mouth shut. If he'd known someone would overhear he might have been more careful.
"Of course," he agreed. Living in Ast, he knew quite a few. "I can't imagine they need much talking-to themselves, though. How many 'extremists' are left then, do you think? Enough to cause a problem?" He clearly welcomed possible discussion over standing in the crowd and worrying about things that he held no control over. He was still young, after all, and this whole 'war' business was entirely new to him.

Lasarra - Post ThreeShe shook her head. That didn't even make sense. With most of them in Sauti the Alkidikes would be few to do anything else. "No, they wouldn't want to divide their strength. If anything they would send some to Sauti and leave some to protect our islands. Aisha is the most important. There is no way they would be able to protect her and come steal more from us."
It seemed the leaders were willing to talk with her people, which did make her feel a little better. She could only hope that Antiope and Enki would be met with open ears.

Rayolun post 3
Rayolun nodded as Lasarra refuted his idea. They would be a bit spread out.. especially with Tale inbetween them and Juahur. Before responding, he paused to listen to Enki and Antiope. He had to agree more with Enki... Though peace would be nice.
"I think perhaps we should stop them.. .but instead of attacking as they pass through Juahur, try and halt them and discuss it. Surely they aren't all war mongers!" He wrapped an arm about Lasarra and smiled. "It's not like we can't get along with them! Wish they were a bit less aggressive though, right Lasarra?"

Mano Post 3Mano couldn't help but to give a little chuckle before he nodded his head, "Of course! I must admit you are the beautiful Shifter woman I have ever had the chance to talk with." He told the beautiful woman, his fin ears giving a happy twitch. She was the epitome of his reasoning for visiting during an Earthling festival. To think there would be so many lovely people gathered together where he could enjoy looking at them! Though getting to chat with them as he was with the beautiful Shifter woman and the Wind man only made traveling here all that much more worthwhile. "I hope that you allow me the honor of hanging out with you for a little while my silver haired princess." He said, giving her a wink before turning to the young man who was looking him over, something that had him grinning, especially when the blond described Mano as 'impressive'. It was something that made him give a little laugh, "That is rather kind of you to say, I do my best to look impressive. I wouldn't want to look my worst when I want to make friendly with all the beautiful people that seem to live up North." He glanced between the pair before he said, "If the lovely princess allow I'd love to hang out with you too to make up for bumping into you, Sunshine." How he loved the golden hair that the Wind Tribe had, it was like silky sun beams, something he wanted to run his fingers through... and her hair was much like moonlight. Ah, but it was wonderful day!

Lasarra - Post Four"You're so smart." she said with a bright smile. She hadn't thought of that idea, but he was right. That way they would be prepared to fight should the need arise, but at the same time it wouldn't be their first option.
"No there are some of us that are good." she said with a laugh as she kissed her husband. She knew the aggressive nature of her sisters well, it had been directed towards her often when she was a youngling. She also knew that not all sisters were like that. "Yes. We can only hope there are more that aren't stupid. Aggressive is one thing, but to go and try to take Santi would be just stupid."

Phaedra Post 4She nodded her head at him. The boy was right. Those Alkidike's likely didn't need any speech from earthlings. Phaedra paused for a moment to think about the shifter's question. "I think even a small group of extremists can cause a problem." She actually looked at the boy now, a bit of a frown in place. "All it takes is for one person to set off a chain reaction. I would know.." Her harsh words in Neued had been the cause of a young hybrid's death. So if a small group of extremists ventured out and hurt people, those people would turn against the whole race. And then those Alkidike who had nothing to do with it would be forced to defend themselves.

Jerami Post 3Jerami gave a happy sound in his throat as his mother set to petting his hair in a soothing manner, something that had him leaning back against her in a happy fashion. He remained there until Jhana spoke of people not looking happy and that they were all talking 'too fast and too grown up' which had him turning their way to see if she was right. Was Jhana right? Was she right about people being upset because they weren't allowed to go to Sauti? Giving a humming sound in his throat he asked, "What is so important about Sauti?" He didn't really know where it was or what it was but now it seemed really important. Should they want to go to Sauti too? His curiosity about Sauti was forgotten though as someone else approached them, someone that made him smile, lifting a hand to wave at the Sathe, "Hello!" He chirped at her in a friendly manner. Leaning forward slightly he listened to what it was that she was saying, head tilting to one side. It was just like Jhana said, a lot of grown up talk, but he hoped that the bits about 'talks of peace' and 'the others not going through with it' were right. He didn't want anyone fighting, fighting was bad he thought to himself, his little antennae twitching as he thought on such 'deep' things. At least they seemed deep to him. Sathe seemed to want to help and was asking Mommy what she though and about everything. He found himself thinking on it too, wondering if he should offer to help. A part of him wanted to... but the majority would rather just stay right where he was, safe with his Mommy. The only way it would be better would be if their Ma came back with Shima sooner then later.

Aysun Post 3Aysun gave a bit of a sighing sound, "What? I will have you know that my babies are more well behaved then you and mom seem to think. Their well trained and would help me to save you if anything were to happen. I will sweep you up onto Maw's back and usher you to safety, that I know for certain." He told his brother, sticking his tongue out at him in a manner that wasn't the most mature things to do but one he couldn't resist doing. "I will also have you know that it doesn't matter if you don't need me to worry about you. I do that because I want to and because I love you best since you are my brother." He told him before he allowed himself to slide off of Maw's back and landed on his brother's back, "Come on, perk up Chandra! You're far too serious! Everyone else around us are being just the same and it's just going to end up with his being a festival of stress instead of any sort of fun!" Leaning against his brother, putting half his weight on him, he looked around and asked, "You planning on meeting with that dancer woman of yours? Gonna introduce her to mom?" He was teasing him a bit but couldn't resist trying to get a rise out of him, wondering if he'd get all prickly about Aysun bringing up his 'dancer girlfriend'.

Jacinthus Post 3Jacin glanced over at Takoda for a moment, then around the area, before he gave a sighing sound, "I wonder if we should consider getting Korra a bell." He mused, feeling that it would at least help out where Korra was concerned. He wanted to keep her safe, not to mention keep track of her at all times, "I don't really understand pets either but we coudl also consider getting her a smart one that will keep her from getting lost all the time." Something that would take hold of her hand and lead her home would be nice... and it would be the only beast that he would really appreciate. Glancing over at Keilana his eyes went a bit wde when she mentioned wanting all the Alkidike to go to Zena so they could freeze in the mountains. His silence lasted for a few moments before he burst into laughter, "Little Kei, that isn't very nice." He said that, but he was still laughing. At least until the elders started to speak up, explaining their thoughts on things, and the 'what ifts' that they were going to be having to deal with. Chalcedony Post 3Chalcedony turned to look at Jacinthus as he set to laughing over Keilana's desire to see the Alkidike frozen in Zena, then back to her and said, "Well, here's to hoping they will give up their foolish ideas of invading... well, at random, so that we don't have to worry about them freezing in Zena or drying up in Tale." He told Keilana, the elders seemed to think there was a chance, if a small one, that they could actually talk with them. Good luck though, they tended to be rather hardheaded. Turning to look at Keilana he said, "To be honest I am a litte confused by the idea of them going after Sauti. It seems like they are just picking places at random now. Them trying to take Jauhar at least makes sense but Sauti? They have to wander all the way through Tale to even get there which isn't exactly an easy trip, surely they must know that? Their elder went on the trek to Zena once upon a time ago with the rest of us after all." It was confusing to him, but who knew what went on in the heads of those strange bug women?

Alassiel - Post #3While the Shifter was one of few words, here she was simply lost for words. She stared at the man and blinked a few times sure that her cheeks were growing darker from all the attention and compliments. “Ah, thank you.” Embarrassed, Alassiel looked away towards the Elders as they spoke. She had to stay on task, was he flirting with her? Surely he was not flirting with her. “Of course you can stay here with me, I don’t mind the company.” She said turning back to him only to turn away again as her cheeks lite up when he called her his princess.
Thankfully, he turned his attention to the Wind man that he’d bumped into and he seemed to be just as interested in the Matori as the other was interested in him. Perhaps a distraction of sorts for the Matori. “Of course he can stay too.” Alassiel blurted out, he would be a very welcomed distraction indeed! “I’m Alassiel.” She offered up her name to both of them. “It’s nice to meet you both.” She wondered what they thought of everyone not wanting to blockade, as a Matori he was far from home; he could walk away if he wanted to. As a Wind, the man was certainly all for a blockade? She didn’t know but would ask later once she had their names.

Wyome Post 3
"Oh no, I'm sorry. I'd like to avoid confrontation as much as possible, but from what I have seen talking doesn't help much, especially if they really get a thought in their head," she sighed with a shake of her head. "And even if we talk to their leaders, they may not want to listen and go on ahead with the plan." Extremists where exactly that, extremists, outliers that didn't always comply with the leader's orders.
"If too many of them believe it is Aisha's will to expand their territory, then they'll come. We'll have to be prepared and hope for the best," she said softly. It wasn't the best solution, but she hoped that her mother Aisha wouldn't wish for the ill-will of the other nations, especially when she herself was the product of the union of the Alkidike and Leaf.---- kaname423 Does Yejide mind some company? C: Careele Post 2
Siern gave a sniff to the air, lifting himself up with a stretch. He needed to move, the people were annoying... The only option was to meander away from his master.
Careele glanced down as soon as Siern started to move, slipping off of the rock and following him, "Siern, what are you doing?" he said with a sigh. They had the perfect spot to listen to the meeting, but now he was ruining it. He had it out for him. But onward the beast went until he found himself in front of an Oban leaning against a tree, looking bored out of her mind. Siern sat in front of her with little show, canting his head curiously. He had never seen an earthling like this.
"Sorry about him, he's finding this pretty boring," the shifter offered with a hint of a smile in his voice. He was beyond embarrassed at this point.
