Avonlea refused to go rest until she got her PokéDex back. Poor Mikhail. He was so loyal that he forced himself to keep up with her. Reaching over, she pat Mikhail's head softly. He was out cold.Damn that cat for this!"Kit~!"Avonlea looked up and saw the Pokémon just over five feet away, playing around with the PokéDex. Avonlea glared at it darkly before using her sword to stand up, her legs shaking and sore."You...damned thing. Not a bad score. Five balloons was a good amount, and four tickets were way better than two, or one. Or, none. If Avonlea had her math right, she was almost to a hundred tickets. That was quote a milestone! Especially considering her horrible luck for the last few days.

For a few seconds, it looked like the mischievous little kitten was going to give the device back. However, as Avonlea was about to take it, she - Avonlea noticed it was a female - ran off again. And, went right through her."A Ghost-type, huh? Well, I'll just have to have Tuo--"Avonlea was silenced when Dito, angry and embarrassed, used Hydro Pump on the Pokémon. Where the heck did he learn that? Blinking, Avonlea checked her bag and nearly popped a vein. That damn sadist ate her last Balm Mushroom! When did this happen!? Well, at least he put it to good use. Avonlea marched over and picked up her PokéDex, now soaking wet, and put it back in her bag after drying it. Looking at the unconscious and soaked creature, Avonlea sighed before deciding to catch her. She was unique, after all. Plus, Valentina was probably lonely at the house.
She wasn't sure how she pulled it off, but Avonlea successfully managed to trap all three bottles inside the rings. She won ten tickets, bringing her up to one hundred five in her collection. Now that was a great feeling.

Aaaand....Her luck was awful again. Getting a rather average score on a game called Astroids, she won a lousy three tickets. She had a feeling this was the start of a streak of bad luck.

Once the door was shut and locked, Avonlea sat on the bed, making sure to make a safe place for Mikhail to sleep before laying down herself, the baby Kangaskhan shifting to better sleep when she did.

Well....Avonlea didn't expect to actually succeed with catching the Wailmer. Now she was just doing it because it was harder than the heavyweight challenge and easier than the golden Magikarp challenge. Taking her one ticket, Avonlea pocketed it before realizing we had played all the games she could for today. Well, ticket-rewarding games.

Avonlea asked Joy to look at Mikhail, and make sure he was alright. When she gave the all clear, the two walked out of the Pokémon Center. And, then rumbles. Avonlea covered her stomach and Mikhail looked away, embarrassed. Well, she couldn't blame them. They had chased that Magikit around One Island all night."Change of plans. The fireworks display was every bit as colorful and exciting as Arezu had hoped. She just couldn't get enough of the feel of the boom in her chest when they went off, though Ai seemed perturbed for a good portion of the show until Arezu placed a hand on her back to calm her. They left the moment it ended, to get ahead of the crowds trickling away from the show.
The next day, Arezu went out to play the games again, bringing Hikaru with her again. "You sure you don't want to play any games?" Arezu asked as she spun the wheel of fortune. Hikaru nodded. "What is it you say? I wish to end it while ahead." Arezu got what Hikaru was saying. Besides, they didn't both need to play to get tickets. And she wanted Hikaru for her company, not because she needed competition.

...Although if Hikaru stopped showing her up she'd probably make better company. "Ugh, must be the wind or something..." Arezu grumbled as Hikaru collected a prize of a revive for herself, after scoring a perfect ten darts hit. Arezu scored less than half, earning herself only four tickets.
Thankfully, Arezu was able to make up for her lackluster darts performance with the ring toss. She found this game tricky, so getting two out of three rings was pretty gratifying. "Ah, thanks!" she said happily to the woman who handed her five tickets.
By the time she got around to the arcade, Arezu knew it was going to be that kind of day. She just barely managed to coax a few points from the machine at the last second, enough that she got more than a pitiful one ticket. "Ugghhh.""You know, I believe you have already earned more tickets than you normally do." Arezu blew a raspberry in Hikaru's general direction and started off for the fishing game.
Determined to end the day's games on a high note (and blow off that smug expression Hikaru was definitely wearing, Arezu put all her patience and skill into winning the fishing game. "Aaaand...now!" She swooped in, quick but gentle, and scooped up a tiny pokemon in her net. "Wh...whoa. I didn't expect that to work." She stared bemused as the ticketmaster placed ten in her hands. "Huh. Wow. Nice."
