Death wasn't desired but getting thrown out of window....it sounds a thrilling game. The man contemplated, then smiled to Jason. "Okay, okay, I'll be careful." It was rare to see the hunter being so serious since they met in the corridor, or better said he caught him.

"Field medic? What's the difference? As long as you enjoy staying there, no one can force you to shift." Impression was one thing, how the subject felt about it was another, he respected his choice. What's more, if he reached the rank he was, didn't it mean it fit him quite well? Medic....bandages....Ace suddenly thought of something, and because of his personality, he would ask immediately. "Moon - that guy gave me bandages - his name...." He mused, "Harrison? Do you know a guy named that?"

He nearly burst in laughter hearing what Jason said. "Yup, that's exactly how you do operations. I should be clearer though - what I mean is you print parts images out and stick it on somebody with Blue Tack or tapes, just a silly game." That must be his lucky day that he got so much fun. "Never mind, so you play games?"

He nodded, not surprising that Jason actually know Harrison. "Cool. Was you in that mall mission where another outbreak taken place? I got hit by a crazy green-eyed creature and knocked out, I woke up to find I was on an ice rink with he treating me." Ace talked about it like it wasn't happen on him.

"I felt better but not suitable to move, so I took a nap there until some big thing torn down the whole building and I had to run for my life." He was smiling as he went on, "This mission nearly ruined my boots, my only fancy pair before I get my salary for the first time. I didn't expect to be dragged into a second outbreak, luckily no acid this time. Anyway, your senior is pretty good at his job."

"Nope, that's new to me. I saw Jordan and Rep in that mission as well, the three seem to have a great coordination as I observe." He was curious, but not quite noisy. "Oh video games are good way to relax though, I heard someone got runic consoles. Are those expensive to make it runic? Actually what things need to be runic before they're workable on the island besides our phone. What caused the intervention?"

He grinned brightly, "Yup, I'm glad too, or I can't meet you. You'd better not in it, it feels suffocating and nervous." When it felt he was talking about his feeling, he continued. "I guess most people would feel that. I mean they were originally humans and then - the group of civilians we saved were fear to death, paranoid and so. Men, woman and a boy, I feel responsibility when escorted them to Rep."

The trainee sighed, just mildly. "Catherine insisted I need to wash the scythe blade every time we killed an infected, she said it was disgusting, sticky to see those on her beautiful body." He smirked and shrugged. There he went on sharing the story, like it's something funny to talk about.

Then, he smiled as Jason replied his question about runic technology. "Electronics, I should be able to figure it. Residue - ah, you mean the island was filled in heavy FEAR some times ago? I heard about the mist surrounding the island too, but since I woke up, it was no longer the thing." He talked non-stop until he remembered he missed something. "Oh yup, a hunter called Finn? He was talking in public with another hunter Oliver." He said, implied he didn't overhear it deliberately and it shouldn't be a secret.

"Yup, they seem to be good friends even on Twitter." The sequence of the topics? It didn't really matter as long as it was included.

Ace randomly smiled at Jason, to ease his tensed nerves. "Oh, you know, normally in shopping mall, there will be ladie's and gentleman's washroom. On one of them, we found an inflected with lots of bloods and residues. I'm not gonna describe it because it's quite uncomfortable for normal people to see. Another one, the door was locked and we kicked it open. Inside it, a group of civilians were found. My guess was - they heard the sounds, or maybe even witness something that they found the washroom and locked themselves up." He realized the other hunter might need a few seconds to catch up in his mind, so he made a short pause.

"We can't carry a group of unarmed people while we fight the infected, and Rep, through the intercom system directed us to bring any civilians found to the ice rink so that they will be protected. My observation was they might be infected but the symptoms were not obvious, so they probably get vaccinated and took care of."

The Sun trainee looked at Jason with a soft small smile, "Jason, they're no longer humans. Those we had to deal with had lost their minds, they even not knowing they were humans. They just wanted to eat, those poor creatures." He chuckled happily. "Haha probably not, it's some sticky green stuff and some are even erosive." Yup, they were not milky white or other colors - more diluted than goo.

His eyes maybe widened a bit, "How is that possible? Do you know what happened? Oh ya, I don't know him well either. Eyepatched, hot pink scarf, he looks cool though."

Ace still smiled and laughed relaxed talking that topic, "Haha Hell it is. When the structure collapsed, it looked like everything was gonna drag down. I heard that the outbreak in mall and the one occurred lately was because of an artifact, they talked about Legacy....but I don't think I know what that is." For the Sun trainee, there was no secrets he needed to hide from Jason, he just gave what he knew. Yet, not being a Death hunter meant he won't dig into it. "Let's say I'm also a lucky man", he winked playfully.

"Ah-oh that's new. What happen when the process fail? I mean to the creature." It sounded like when the laboratory experiment fails, something bad would occur that he asked.

Ace was glad for that Jason was so easy-going that he didn't need to be shrewd and pry things he wanted to know. Maybe that's why he feel comfortable to talk when time slowly passed. "Artifacts, powerful remains from the myths?" He wasn't familiar with the term except what they normally meant, he was not in a division that had a leader who hoards them like a dragon. Nope. Princess. "Ah sounds like dangerous treasure in those treasure hunt movies, dreams, they can wake up from them right?"

He wasn't sure what it was like to be dragged into weird dreams and experienced things that too real to be illusions. "Are you a victim of them?" He took a glance, figured out if he can talk about it in details, he might be - Ace looked back, "If you mean the sword of King Arthur and the The Knights of the Round Table legend, then yes." Jason should be glad Ace wasn't some anime fans, or he might start singing the song. Luckily.

He touched his chin as Jason explained the conversion. "Hmm, win or lose, that's such a gamble. I'm glad Zanth made it and Catherine too. How much courage they mustered up for it. Is the failure rate high?" <Me too, Ace. Or I can't meet you ♡> The Doll Haunt crooned in affection in Ace's mind.

"Lord of the Rings, got it." A light flashed by in his eyes that told Jason that Ace understood it. "You've used a good example, I've watched the series." He commended. "Is there a specific group to go treasure hunt on regular basis?"

Ace couldn't help but widened his eyes a little when Jason mentioned about alternate realities. "AR and AU right? I heard of them from Fish-I mean Leesha, she was working on a project related to that. Wanna talk about one that you enjoyed?" He slid forward along his laps.

Before Jason might or might not ready to tell the dream, he interrupted. "Merlin the wizard too? Wow, I thought those are just some old old myths.....They really exist?" It sounded like a question but also can be just a mumble.

Ace looked at Jason and smiled, "I feel the same, so I would listen to her requests as to express my gratitude and rewards." Then, as if he thought of something unpleasant, his brows knitted together. "Sometimes it makes you suffer listening to each of them." Through the blue glow, the scythe disappeared, but the totem was nowhere to see.

His eyes widened in rare surprise hearing the news. "Wait a moment, we can have our own artifact, you mean?" <You don't need another one, you have me ♡> Catherine quickly claimed Ace's ownership and slightly blamed Jason to mention that as she was one capricious ghoul. Ace couldn't help the teasing, "Would you come with me and be my Moon for a short time?"

He made some musing noise, "Hmm, someone wanted you all to know that? Does it carry an important message? They won't - show you things for no reasons." Ace then softened his look, "That's great. Do you know them or they don't really exist?" It was a dream after all, and not a first person view angle.

The tall guy snorted, "Man, Merlin' the bad guy in the dream. Then obviously that mysterious person is anti-Merlin. How horrible was he interpreted in the dream or else?" He patted Jason's shoulder to abate the uneasiness.

"Right? Cat loves girl stuffs, so she would request buying things she wanted but she couldn't put on, perfumes, dresses, accessories, etc. As long as she doesn't ask me to put them up since she's fancy of the princess, pastel shades that're unsuitable with me." In other words, Ace would put on dresses that matched with his style. "Sometimes I would starve because I spent too much." He shrugged. "The worst, however, is the desserts. She can't taste it, so she asks me to taste and describe so she could imagine. But you know, I hate sweet stuff." His eyebrow obliviously frowned again, shortly flattened.
