"You think it would have been different - that people would not try to steal the throne from underneath your legs?" Hollandaise laughed and it was unkind. "I had heard you debate and you could not choose. Weak." The sword came down on her but she did not flinch. Almost nonchalantly, she raised Bardiche and fired at Chel.

The arrow landed squarely in Chel's shoulder and she made a noise upon the impact, but merely pulled it out and let her arm go limp.
"Save your breath, darkeyes. Taunts don't work on people that don't give a s**t."
She raised her claymore in an attempt to knock the crossbow out of the girl's hands. It missed, but it still managed a good hit on her firing arm; not that Chel expected it would do anything.
All Chel knew is that the longer she stalled the throne-hog, the less other people would get hurt.

Hollandaise tilted her head. "If you did not care, at some point, you would not be here." She fired again at Chel, hissing in pain as both she and Shun's weapons connected. Hollandaise ignored him for now; he was next. But no matter what pain, she would not give up this throne. It was her place.

Chel tried to swing again, but her left shoulder screamed it pain. She bit her lip and kept it in. Anything to keep herself the target.
"Shut up Shun," Chel spat, trying to lift the sword again.

"Subdue and restrain her!" Estel called out. "Do not kill her if we can avoid it!" She moved in to strike at Holly's legs with her quarterstaff, but was unable to even get close.

Shun's weapon cut into her flesh, but she would not move, they could not make her! She bit her lips to keep from crying out. Methodically, she lifted Bardiche again, still pointing him towards Chel. She would take them all one by one. Hollandaise was always terribly organized.

Chel felt that next arrow connect with something it should not have. She was now bleeding from three different spots thanks to pulled arrows, but still she raised her claymore up and slammed it against Holly's frontside.
"Go ahead, scream," she told the monster. "It hurts, don't it?"
Whatever she and Shun saw differently was going to be sorted out later; Chel assessed that this wasn't the time. She did know one thing though; she was killing this b***h. None of that "incapacitate" bullshit.

Shun decided to back off a bit. Not to stop fighting, but to try and find a better position to attack from. They were all crowding around the throne right now, after all. It was making it hard to find a good place to strike that wouldn't involve hitting one another.

Kari gritted her teeth as she mimicked Estel's sentiment as everyone began their attack. "Even if she's corrupted, she's still our ally. We need to bring her back to reason, not kill her!"
