"This is most unfortunate news." He beckoned for Sconey to follow him as he walked down to the first floor of the library. He pulled the blade thrown by Sconey out of the wall and returned it to its shelf. "I almost wish I had moved to a more peaceful land to live in."

He sits down at his desk and pulls out his notebook again. He hoped the effect of the accident would wear off eventually. He had spent a long time studying the lenses and did not want to lose that knowledge. He opened the book and tried to read the spells.

Senstren looks up from the notebook. "If you mean for the battle against the vampire, than yes. That battle ended awhile ago."

After awhile, he closed the book. He could remember the spells for the use of the lenses, but could not remember the method of making them. He picks up the box of lenses he made for Alanna and the notebook and walked to the door. Then, turning to Scones he says "I have to go give these to Alanna. If you want you can borrow a book or two. Until next time, farewell." With that, he walks out the door and down the path leading to the rest of RDS.

He walks through the forest surrounding his home, sword drawn. As he reaches certain trees, he placed the point of the sword on the bark. Hidden symbols flare into visibility. Senstren mutters a spell and then lowers his sword. Then he moves on, to renew more of his defencive spells.

Returning home, he immediately enters his workshop. He walks up to the device in the center of the room, removing his outer coat and throwing it to the side as he goes. He hits a hidden switch, and the device begins to change shape.

As the device finishes unfolding, it resembles a series of rings, at largest 2 feet, inside each other to the smallest at 1 foot, with a gap in the center. He draws his knife and examines it. Only a few hours ago, he had thought of it as the only thing keeping him alive and safe from the punishment he would recieve in the realm of death. With the bit of knowledge Alanna gave him, he now realized he did not need the weapon and the link it created. He quickly places it in the gap in the rings. "What is this? My servant is betraying me? You think that woman knew what she was talking about, don't you. You are a fool. Only I can keep you safe from what awaits you." Ignoring the voice, Senstren draws his sword and walks back a short distance. He turns to face the device and points his sword at it. Golden flames run up the blade. "Not interested in safety are you...Well then, think of the power I have given you. You could not have survived the battle with that vampire without me!" "QUIET! I do not need you to keep me safe from rules that don't exist! I will destroy that bloody shard of you once and for all!" Senstren begins speaking an incantation and the rings begin to spin. After a short time the rings move so quickly, the device looks like a sphere. Suddenly the sphere glows a painfully bright white. A moment of fear crosses Senstrens face. "So, no bartering with my existance, no reasoning, you're just going to destroy me. Well, I guess I need to bring you with me to the abyss!" Then, in one short second, the light erupts outward, blasting most of the house into nothingness.

The light is so intense, the closest trees and other plants are bleached pure white. Senstren is thrown into the forest, smashes into a tree and blacks out. Near the entrance path his sword is stuck up to the hilt in a tree, with the blade sticking out the other side. When the light fades, it is visible that some of his artifacts and books survived the explosion, especially his lenses.

*He followed where the large flash of light was, it had come from beyond the forest. He waded through the forest soon coming on the necromancer he had met with before* Hmm... I wonder what happened here? hey, are you alive? *He nudged him with his foot* Wake up

Feeling the foot poke into him, Senstren groans and struggles to his feet. He sees Zero standing next to him. "I think I'm alive..." He looks over to the wreakage of his house. "Oh dang...this will take some fixing." Upon further examination, he sees his sword, walks over to it, and pulls it out of the tree. "I hope I didn't cause trouble with the rest of RDS with this little accident."

"Oh good, I didn't want to do any harm at all in the first place. So It's best that it was contained." As he speaks, he walks around the debris picking up some of his artifacts and moves them to the side.
