There doesn't look to be any damaged salvage this time, save for a piece handed in by Reemus. Listening to the gossip around the shore, Aerona was the last troll to be in the same area. Apart from that, everyone else seems to be playing nice. How dull!

Luxara's catches seemed to be working out for her so far! Still in the top three. She had dodged the rumored foul play going on, and intended to keep that going. Granted, she had no idea what was exactly damaged versus what wasn't. But her intuition had kept her afloat, pardon the pun, so perhaps it would keep the streak going! It wasn't smart to get cozy, though. Play hard, win hard! She zipped into the diving area on her boat. Pulling the net up the first few times, she had accidentally caught fish! This seemed to be a popular area for the fishies. Whoops. "I'm not trying to get lunch. Shoo," Luxara said with a laugh, tossing them back into the water. The activity soon scared them away, though, and her hauls didn't have so much drama. With all the practice she'd had, it didn't take long to find some decent stuff to take back to get checked out. Pchoooo!

Reemus's face fell when it turned out he had brought in something completely useless. Damaged? How could it be damaged? All the junk looked pretty similar to him! But the experts did know what they were talking about...he couldn't really fight with them much outside of whimpering "But...but...but..." uselessly.
Not the best argument.
He'd show them though! The puppy would make up for the mistake. He'd bring in the best scrap metal EVER. The following night, he stomped out to the beach, grabbed his gear, put it on, and tromped on through the water. Though somewhat floppily since he was wearing flippers. He splish-splashed until the water was too deep to walk anymore, then doggy-paddled a tad before diving. Time to get to work!
The little yellowblood started with the upper-most of this curving reef. He searched between the rocks until he discovered his first shiny. Willing it to be good this time, he took it up to the surface. Next dive, Reemus he went a liiiittle farther out, looking over the bumpy rock face. He pawed about the area. His hands ran over something...off. Or, not a rock. He pulled at it. Grime flaked off in large clouds of dust, revealing more to it than he thought. Score! It was heavy, but he managed to drag it up and away.
Heading back down, he swam to the farthest area. Less rocks, more plants here. He hand to stick his hands in them, feeling about with his hands and hoping nothing would bite him. Eventually, like before, he gripped something like a rod. It was another struggle to yank it out, but he was deadset on it. He kicked and kicked until the kelp let go, and shot on up with his last piece of junk.

Voscil decided today was a fitting one for playing up some well-deserved mischief. The child had it in mind she would wreak havoc for her competitors and use her speed to her advantage. Instead of just a snorkel this time, the kid suited up with an oxygen tank, and even if it meant leaving MamaJu further behind than normal, she intended to set a few dud’s while scoring some shiny junk in the name of yellowblood pride! Even if that meant smashing up a couple things, a little bit of lively addons to the game certainly couldn’t hurt.
While Voscil still wasn’t the greatest of swimmers, several nights diving around in the lake had certainly taught her a thing or two. Even if it was scary considering all time of marine life and creatures lived in the vast blue sea, it hadn’t occurred to her there would be an issue. In fact, as Voscil dived down into zone two. The weight of the tank on her back made her a bit unease, so she’d stay close in case she needed to resurface.
Spying a shiny light purple orb, she collected it in her little bag. It was fairly pretty; she was almost tempted to keep it for herself. Yet she could just hear MamaJu telling her that was no way to win, nor help out her team. So that theory went right out the window as she scanned for another goodie to bring back. The crusted over blue and grey item almost went unnoticed before she went to slip out of the area. Giving a little shout of victory she nearly drowned herself as she forgot her mouth was around the breathing device. Quickly, she swam up top, deposited her two goods and went back down into the second zone purposely smashing a couple other goodies she found. Take that suckers, just try and bring stuff back ha!
With that, she concluded her treasure hunt after finding a triangle faux jewel, and taking time to sabotage a few things that were of no interest to her but might result in others bringing back the cruddy goods. With that she called it a night and went to go play with her lusus in the water for a bit.

Stryke was over fussing with underwater devices, and riding on boats. Instead, he had the bright idea to try fishing from the shoreline. While it wasn’t as likely his results would be nearly as fortuitous, the kid had to at least give it a try. Large bodies of water like this just made him want to crawl out of his skin. The thought of some undertow sweeping him up, or a monstrous creature feasting upon him or his lusus did not sit well on his psyche. He wasn't about to start trying to learn how to swim, and doubted outside an ablution trap he would ever desire to be submerged for any length of time.
Snatching up a net, and some rocks to weigh them down and with a considerable amount of grunting he was able to fling them out a ways. As this particular method was far more time consuming, and he had no desire to lug rocks around, Stryke stuck close to the shore line as he did his fishing. The sooner this was over with, the better he decided.
SkinkDad gave a lazy stretch as he found himself a nice rock to perch on and namely moon bathe in. It was nice to see his troll boy less tense than usual. Normally the kid was normally wound up tighter than a royalist bickering over tax dollars. The fact he kept pushing himself in his endeavor was equally pleasing, it was strange to realize one’s own child had grown up, even if the kid was still small in his eyes and perhaps always would be.
Humming thoughtfully, his eyes sliding from the net he’d sunk into the water, and his lusus a small smile found its way on his face. Stryke could complain all he wanted, this event hadn’t even gotten into the full swing of things, there was still many nights to come and fun to be had, even he had to admit. In the meanwhile, he waited for a time before deciding to reel in his line with the help of his lusus after a bit of whining. The pair was able to pull in a rather decent haul all things considered.
For his efforts, Stryke managed to find an ornate comb he had to pick sea weed out of, a conch shell with several hues of blue and purple and lastly while less eye catching was some kind of tablet with Alternian writing scrawled across it. Shrugging his shoulders he was satisfied with the goods he’d managed to obtain, and was mindful to bring in his own line so nothing got tangled in it...or worse.

Odette emerged from the ocean, eager to hand off her finds to Aerona. After the items were safely stored, Odette pulled herself up onto the side of the boat, taking a break to check her tanks and fix her hair. Her hair had come undone while she was swimming, but luckily she had brought another hair tie. She started detangling her hair and looked over to the other redblood.
"Aerona, why aren't you diving?" She asked, genuinely curious. "I'd think you were much more adventurous than I am. You don't strike me as the kind of troll who's content to wait for others." Odette let out a little chuckle and squeezed the water out of her hair. Already, she felt comfortable around Aerona. Perhaps it was because of blood— or maybe it was just luck that they met during Bloodfest. Every year she went, Odette forgot that she didn't share a single friend with the same blood hue as her. It was kind of strange and uncomfortable, fighting against her friends while feeling alone on her team. So quickly, Aerona had changed all of that. She made her feel a bit stronger, maybe even a bit prideful. She wanted to help win this thing— for her.
Odette finished tying her hair up and slid back into the water. On the way down, she spotted the girl's lusus. Such a strange, but adorable lusus. She'd have to ask Aerona more about her. Odette gave the little creature a wave and continued on her way.

xxxx It was probably not the best way to spend his time, but rather than looking for anything worth while he had been playing with the fish that swam around the reef. Well playing was putting it lightly. To be more accurate he was trying to see how many he could stir up. His net bag was attached to his waist as he swam about scaring smaller fish. He only stopped when something rather large swam past him. Something large and troll shaped, reminding him that he had an event to finish.
The young troll snapped to attention and started looking for items to place in his faithful net.

Odette looked like a pretty mermaid. How could someone so attuned with the air look good in the water, too? All Aerona had was the land. She pinched her lips together as Odette asked about her swimming.
"I just don't swim is all," she explained. Her voice was tinged with nerves. "Didn't really learn on Busthind, and with all of the things in the water..."
Aerona tugged on her braid and looked away to position the finds in the boat. She fussed with some algae and crusty sea life that had grown on the pieces.
"But it's okay...! We can still do take 'em out with just you and mom!" She clenched her fist and smiled.
Working with Odette was a thrill. Aerona felt more confident going out now with her two anchors -- "Her rocks!" She had said with utmost (joking) seriousness. Sophitia was also glad for the back-up, and found the redblood to be the kind of role model that Aerona needed. Sweet, gentle, not making things explode... It was good.
Once the two had cleared out zones 4 and 2, Aerona had begun to get restless. "If we wanna beat 'em we should get going. I think that spot looks good...!"
Zone one. She'd heard tell that purplebloods (seadwellers, no less) had pulled in the lead. That, she thought, was simply unacceptable. She was very sure that this was the spot to search.
Sophitia took the plunge and soon brought up an impressive chunk of machinery. It had fan blades, but was (obviously) much smaller than a chunk of engine. Perhaps a part of a cooling system on the ship! Aerona cheered at her lusus. When she went back down, she ran into Odette.
She gave her a chipper wave with one of her claws. Resurfacing, the crustacean had quite the loot.
"This is fun, though, innit?" Aerona chirped to Odette. Doing this with a partner was making things much easier. She could almost get away with not cheating. As the group began to float away, however, Aerona turned back to her nasty tricks. As quietly as she could, she lobbed an explosive back where they had been searching. If Odette asked her about it... She'd say she slipped. Aerona smiled.

Etsali had done a pretty good job bringing in treasures the day before, and it was pretty reassuring to know she could do so well at her given skill set even in such a crazy different environment! There really was something to this scavenging underwater business, she guessed, and so she pulled on her wetsuit and diving gear and dropped into the water with new confidence today. It was pretty tempting to stick to one area and make sure she got everything in there, but there were also lots of other trolls swimming around, and she didn't want to miss anything because they'd gotten to it first! So she decided to keep to her tactic of searching three different spots a day. If it worked out well again this time, she'd have to make it an official tradition, huh?

It was pretty funny, watching all these lowbloods force their way into wetsuits and weird diving gear just for a chance to swim like her kind always had. It really just went to show how much of an advantage seadwellers had over all of them! Giggling a little, the girl hopped into the water, waiting patiently for MeduMa to descend in beside her, and then began to dive down to see what she could find. She didn't even have to worry about finding things too heavy for her to carry, really, since she figured her lusus could probably handle it. With so much going for them, there was really no way her team could lose this silly game, buuut...
Well, it wouldn't do for them to start thinking they did have a chance, would it? She glanced around to see if there were any nearby, and then swam with entirely new purpose.

Every night was something to look forward to. The booths, the trolls, and of course the little "treasure" hunt. Maihue wiggled into the wetsuit, pulled her hair out of it, and walked into the water. This time she was starting in the way, way back, and staying there for a good while. Maihue thought that there might be a good chance of something being out here, since well, it was just her intuition talking, really. She swam around slowly, looking for the small hints that she had become so accustomed to looking for. Her eye spotted a few here and there, but it just seemed to be an ordinary area. Still though, Maihue continued to look through it, just to be sure. She even came back for her second turn, as a double tap sort of. Her final swim of the night would be at the second area. Going for the even numbers tonight! Oh those even numbers, so good to me lately, she thought to herself.

Yesterday had been a huge haul, and he hoped today would be just as big. Every passing day, he became more and more excited about the events. From the booths to the diving, he was having a LOT of fun!
Pulling his goggles over his eyes, Hazmas took a breath and dived in. Quickly but carefully, the young troll swam through the different areas, filling his satchel to its fullest capacity. It wasn't long though, before he had to surface again and began thinking up ways for trolls like himself to make it down there without scuba gear.
'Hmm, I'll have to think about it more a little more,' he thought and went back under for less than honorable reasons.
