Aya blinked before his other arm wrapped around the child. Squeezing her for a moment he smiled, "Promise." he looked at Triss as he spoke, "Always." he said with meaning in those red eyes. He smiled then before kissing the top of her head, "So, can I call ya little sis?"

"Yeah... Oh, my name's Riley." Riley tugged on his braid a little more. "Would... would you like to pretend we came together? Would that help you feel better? N-n-not as a couple, of course! But, maybe, friends? I'd hate to think anyone came and didn't have fun." He smiled and ducked his head again. "That's.. why I'm here. To make friends...

(So sorry I missed it Thali)
Carwyn smiled at the little celebi, "Of course we can dance Brenny, I am always ready to dance with someone. But you want do you wish to dance now or in a little bit." He looked over to Mitja who was walking around keeping her hooded eyes open for trouble. "I think you would be hard pressed to get Mitja to dance."He knew that the two had had a bit of a disagreement he did wonder if maybe a dance could help them. But with how Mitja disliked most things 'girly' he did not think it could work well.
Koujen had come to the dance. He had heard about it and though he knew his land lord would never come he thought maybe he should see what it was like. He had never been to something like this. He rubbed his arm as he stepped threw the threshold into the club. He had of course left a note for Havard incase the god woke up wail he was away. The only reason he felt he could come was because Havard had worked himself until he passed out again.

Ajax grinned brightly and blushing a bit he tried to look as cool as he could, "Of course I do. I mean when I last saw you you were still a pokemon but you were well toned and looked very nice. I would have accepted you into our group gladly." He winked.
Caileen shook her head lightly. Ajax was still a flirt with any woman really. "I would think it would be hard to be alone with such a family. We would all be very glad to come to dinner sometime. And I would be sure to make sure the little ones don't choose on us. Though I would be sure we brought them something special to choose on and hopefully that would distract them some. What are your babies' names?"

Brenny considered Carwyn's words, before he beamed. "In a little bit," he decided, rewarding him with a hug. He wanted to make up for all the arguing, he wanted to make Mitja smile and remind her of their friendship. Friends fought, didn't they? Wasn't that a sign that they felt they could share their real feelings, instead of putting on false airs? "I'll ask her nicely," he promised. "And if she says no, I'll come back and we'll dance! But even if she says yes, after the dance, I'll still come back!"
He wandered over towards Mitja. "Hey," he greeted her. He was more hesitant with her, they'd recently argued; he didn't want that to happen again. "You look nice, want to dance?" He offered her his hand hopefully.

Renee glances at Riley and thinks over his idea "hmm...we could as friends, if not i was going to go home early and call it a night" she said. " i'm here to make friends too, but everyone seems busy mingling around" she told him lightly.

Carwyn have the child a hug back, "I shall be waiting then Mr. Brenny." he said and watched the child running off towards Mitja. He could not help but feel bad. He knew that Mitja would not cause a seen. Well he hoped she would not. He did not know what had gone on between them but he knew that there was tension between the two at least one the teen's part. He sighed and continued to greet and observe people until he was called on to dance.
Mitja's body tensed up hearing a familiar voice. She did not know why she was surprised that he had come to talk to her since she had seen Brenny walk in but still she tensed none the less. She turned to look at Brenny and had to admit that he did look a bit cute in his outfit and the manner in which he was asking her but she shook her head, "You look nice as well however I am working so I am not dancing." her voice was firm but polite. She did not want to ruin the party but she had no intention of dancing with Brenny let alone anyone though she help but feel a bit of dread that sooner or later she would be on the dance floor. If for no other reason than Gao's glowing eyes smirking at her from the floor as she looked over at him.

Shousuke rolled up the sleeves of his silk shirt and smiled at Kirsi. "Legs smegs, you don't need them to dance." He moved closer to her, one arm close to where her knee would be and the other near her back.
"If you want to dance, and you don't mind being my partner, I can hold you while we dance. I'm a lot stronger than I look. Not to brag, you know." His ears twitched, one long ear slanting to the side. "Do you trust me?"
Solange just grinned. "Good to know." She was trying hard not to giggle, so it just came out as a bigger smile. "You're not looking so bad yourself. I'll have to keep my eye on you around my daughter and niece as they grow if you're around."
If she didn't know any better, she would think that Ajax had spent a little too much time around her husband. The smaller male reminded her so much of her beau that it made her miss him, despite the small time that they had been apart. "My daughter's name is Hawke, and my son is Casey. They're chewing on everything now, and they can't even walk yet. I don't know what I'm going to do when they're mobile." She laughed.

"Hey, I'm not little!" Tania protested immediately, at the question. "You can call me Tania." The mew didn't seem to have warmed up to the zorua entirely. But if he promised to keep Tristan happy, to give him the happy ending he deserved, the one she had decided Tristan should have, then, she supposed it was alright. If he failed to keep his word, he was in for it. She'd include Karma in on the pranks; they'd bombard him with them. Fill his shoes with mud, perhaps. Put honey somewhere near his place of residence so a swarm of wild pokemon might appear. Shift into a beedrill and chase him. What would Karma do? What would Daddy say? He'd probably tell her not to hurt anyone. He didn't seem to mind her pranks as long as they were harmless. Tristan glanced between them, before rewarding the two of them with a bright smile. "Go sit down, Tania. I bet some boy'll ask you to dance." He wanted to spend some time with his boyfriend; as much as he liked seeing his sister, he had been looking forward to this date since he'd been asked to come. "Blegh, boys! I'll never dance with a boy! Boys are GROSS! The only boy I like is Daddy!" Tania took off, giving her a brother a look of disgust. "She's still in the cooties stage," Tristan grinned, taking Aya's now free hand. "Let's dance." Brenny was disappointed, but not altogether surprised. She was working; she always seemed to be, at least the last few times he'd seen her. "Oh, well, maybe after you're done working," he said, hopefully. "I told Carwyn I'd dance with him after you, if you said you'd dance with me." He'd also told Carwyn that he'd dance with him if she said no. "Maybe when it's less crowded?" He'd noticed she was tense, and far from believing it was due to his presence, figured it was due to the vast amount of people. He gave her a smile before making his way back towards Carwyn. "Hey." he said. "I told her maybe we could dance later, she didn't seem interested right now." He looked up at the older boy, before smiling. "Want to dance, then?"

Marissa noticed two kids her age standing by themselves; she knew that feeling. Or at least she thought she did; she wasn't particularly fond of crowds. It reminded her of how she'd attached herself to Masa after finding him, how she'd decided to take care of him when he'd grown. It was only with Fiore that she opened herself to the world outside Masa and herself. "Hey Masa," she called to her brother, waving him over. "Come on, those kids look like they need friends. We could switch off, you know. You should dance with me! That's what this thing seems to be for, anyway. People spinning in circles... I wonder if Dad's going to be doing that, too..." It looked like it could make someone dizzy! Still, it looked like a lot of fun, too. She offered her hand to her brother, smiling at him. "Come on. We don't have many friends our age. It's time we make some, huh? Dad told us to mingle, didn't he?" She waved at the two. "Hey! I'm Marissa, and this is my brother Masa."

Riley gave Renee a small smile and nodded. "Good! It.. it'll be nice to be here with a friend. Maybe something more fun than me will come along for you.."
As though on cue, his ears perked in surprise when another pair came over, clearly speaking to them. The cheerful greeting made him hug his tail tighter, but his smile warmed hopefully. Maybe he really would be able to tell Thomas about meeting others tonight. "Hi. M-my name's Riley."

Renee blinked as another pair approached her and Riley, she waved at them lightly "nice to meet you both,I'm Renee" she said nodding lightly and glanced at Riley "well, as of yet I haven't actually met anyone who is more fun then hanging around with you" she told him. At least they weren't going to be the only kids that felt they were either out of place or didn't understand what vday was about.
