As she walked, she recalled the Snivy that was still on her shoulder, mostly because he was starting to look rather tired. The teen glanced over to see how Jin was holding up, but from what she could tell he looked like he could keep going for a while. Jin noticed his trainer glancing at him and gave her a slight half grin before slowing his pace a bit to stick near her for the rest of the trip through the forest.

As Cyrus entered the forest, Argo glided through the air before him, dipping under tree branches to survey the area. Rita was on the look out for more wild pokemon to prove herself against. She didn't want her trainer to think she was any kind of sissy at all. So when a weedle popped up, she promptly dismissed it with a whack of her tail, not even bothering to wait to see if Cyrus would instruct her or even notice.

With the weedle out of the way, Rita brushed off her hands, walking along side her trainer. Cyrus had hardly paid any mind to her battle! The squirtle grimaced and leered up at the wingull and him. They really had a strong connection those two. Rita didn't think that her new trainer would have been capable of such a bond. "Rita. Look. Take out that Whimsicott so i can catch it." The dark skinned male spoke up, pointing ahead. There was a blue bodied pink fluff up ahead. Cyrus wanted to catch it. Rita hadn't moved fast enough, getting hit by a gust attack before she could slam her tail at it. As soon as she attacked, it was taken down, and shortly after, captured. Cyrus tucked the ball away with the swirlix, planning on keeping it around to sell it for it's odd coloring. "Good job, Rita. You need to be faster next time. Here, heal up." he told his starter, tossing a potion to her. Rita fumbled with the spray, giving her trainer a bewildered look. She had no idea how this thing worked! It was the trainer's job to apply a potion to their wounded pokemon! "Squiirrrrrrr....." she grumbled then messed with the potion until she found out how it sprayed - it got her in the face, surprising her before she could apply it properly. Argo found the scene humorous, squacking in laughter.

Yet another oddly colored pokemon showed up, catching Cyrus' entrance. "Now that you're taken care of, why don't you go take down that Lilligant real quick?" He told the turtle. Rita gave an indignant look to her trainer. Was she just a tool to him? Anyways, she gave in and managed to move faster than the other pokemon, taking it down with a swing of her tail. Cyrus captured the pokemon and put it in his bag with the other strange colored pokemon. "Mm. There we go. What do you think, Argo? She looks like a keeper so far, doesn't she?" Cyrus commented, getting a squack of approval from his bird companion.

Rita rolled her eyes. She couldn't believe that she was stuck with a trainer like Cyrus. It looked like so far, he was just catching these pokemon she was taking down, merely for what she assumed was profit of somekind. Keeping up the odd encounters, a cream colored buneary hopped into view, catching Cyrus' attention. "Well, that's rather cute. I'm sure I can get a pretty penny for that. Take it out, Rita." Cyrus commented, watching as his squirtle seemed to sigh before heading off to whack it with her tail. It was an easy take down. Rita supposed at least she was getting some kind of training, and was having plenty of out of ball time. Cyrus threw a ball, capturing the buneary and tucking it away. Argo squacked proudly, though he hadn't done any battling at all.

Cyrus was bewildered as a blue chansey crossed his path. He blinked a few times before pointing at it. "Hey! That's a rare pokemon! I can get a lot for that one! Come on, Rita, Show it your Iron Tail!" he exclaimed a bit excited. Normal chansey fetched quite a high price on the market, so seeing that there was an abnormally colored one right in front of him, He had to have it. Rita rolled her eyes, and followed through with the command. After Cyrus captured it, Rita crossed her arms, sighing. Her trainer was all excited to sell a pokemon they just caught. It was ridiculous, according to Rita. Argo, however, shared in his trainer's glee, gliding around happily. Eventually, the group quieted down, and they started on their way through the forest. Argo had spotted a round pebble and brought it back to Cyrus. Turns out it was actually a Lucky Egg, and Cyrus tucked it away for now.

While Cyrus was obviously busy looking for more oddly colored pokemon, especially chansey, Rita was left to fend off an angered Weedle. It seems that Cyrus had disrupted it from a nap. Rita blinked at the raging bug, then shot a blast of water at it to cool it down, sending it defeated back to the bushes. The squirtle was rather proud that she could take out a pokemon with an attack other than her Iron Tail move. It was too bad that Cyrus hadn't seemed to taken notice of it at all.

Cyrus and Argo still were searching around the forest for more 'valuable' pokemon, and Rita decided to make the best out of it by battling the wild pokemon she came across. This time, a Kakuna dropped from a tree, bouncing off of the back of her shell. The squirtle shot an irritated look to the pokemon, tackling it until it finally gave in and was defeated.

Sable and Jin weren't walking for very long when a Metapod dropped down and made some noise at the duo."Kind of embarrassing, but at least it'll be worth some decent experience,"the redhead said as she poked the button on the ball containing Scoundrel. The fight that occurred wasn't all that much of a challenge. A few swipes with Scratch and the cocoon Pokemon was sent back into the trees. Sable didn't even need to heal the Purrloin up afterwards.
