| History Summary |Pearl and her brother Obsidian were taken to a petstore as kittens. There, they were placed with a number of cats up for adoption, but no other kittens but a Norwegian named Hook. The trio banded together to be a proper family of little hell-raisers until the day when Pearl and Obsidian were adopted by a man and his young son.
Pearl always felt the call of something beyond the housepet life, always wanted to go exploring and adventuring, meet new cats, see new places. Her brother was really the force that kept her at home. She had never been on her own before and she was loathe to find herself in the stray world without someone to lean on.
When a charming stray found his way into her backyard, it didn't take much to convince her to come away with him, have a bit of adventure. As much as it pained her, she left Obsidian behind and joined Spike, despite his secrets and dark inclinations.
