October 31st, 2017: [NPC] Gaia Staff Welcome Back! Quote: EventsSomeone posted a rumor in Chatterbox about a site-wide upcoming event: the closing of the site in 2018. I'm still fairly new here on Gaia but I have already read about the site closing in Chatterbox at least one other time, probably twice, which makes this last one the third time I have heard this rumor in the past six months. Is this rumor a recurrent jest or has there actually been talk about closing the site at some time in the future? Please excuse my ignorance if this topic has already been discussed within the past six months. We're still developing new games and events for Gaia. We're not closing the site as long as you guys are here!

November 14th, 2017: Lanzer Hello everyone! Please pardon the dust while we migrate various servers to the latest operating system. We're starting with the avatar servers and will move on to the main web servers later in the month. Lanzer debased coin How goes the hiring for the marketing and product management positions? We're moving slowly as it's not an immediate need. Jak mentioned that he passed this request onto the appropriate team member, but since then we are still waiting for a response. PLEASE can someone look into this issue many of us have had and been ignored about for months? Should be all resolved now, sorry about that. @_@

December 19th, 2017: [NPC] Gaia Staff Welcome Back! Quote: Misc. Now that Net Neutrality has been overturned in the United States, what does this mean for Gaia Online? Will we have to pay extra to visit Gaia? Lack of net neutrality probably wouldn't affect sites that doesn't create a lot of bandwidth such as video streaming services. So Gaia probably isn't affected. The real impact will happen many months later as the FCC is keeping a close eye on this very issue and many states are preparing to sue over the decision. In the long run this will affect the bigger players such as Google and Netflix first as ISP can get the biggest profit out of them with minimal social outrage, and the pricing structure will probably begin to affect lower tier services down the road, but it's hard to speculate at this moment. Expect that in the future, certain companies will be charged more for using more bandwidth, and the cost will be passed down to the provider's customers so we should be seeing price increase from the providers. It will be too big of an issue to directly charge the customer is what most people are expecting.

I really excited to see how big of a success Pop Square has become since last we chatted! smile A couple of months ago the Gaia HQ Team opened a position for Marketing and Sales Manager; I sent in my resume and was interviewed and was told xxxxx/xx would be in touch. I was contacted later in regards to returning for a second interview, however, I was given no appointment date. Is the position still open? February 27th, 2018: Lanzer khionna OtherI'm sure that you guys are aware of the drama floating around pertaining to the DDLC tribute item, Just Me. Has there been any effort on either end to resolve the situation? I'm not trying to pry into personal matters, just see what it would effect on user end. I'm not sure how that would work, but are there any plans that would effect the item itself on your end? I just heard of the issue myself, I'm sure the art team will resolve the issue.

June 12th, 2018: Lanzer Le Him Artist Position I was told to send my portfolio to Gaia at the email Lanzer provided me last week. Now I'm back to ask, what exactly do I say in this email in regards to my portfolio if it's an online portfolio? I don't want to just say "Here's a link to my portfolio, hire me?" cause that does not seem professional. A cover letter and a link to your portfolio is fine. We gauge by the quality of the portfolio so that is what matters the most.
