 Vanity Eva's Youth."I would like to, pretty much." Things were starting to get serious for Vanity since Despair wasn't trading with her. But she had to keep things up. As she was taunted by Despair the woman smirked. "I would rather be alone than being around commoners like yourself."The woman answered back, when Despair brought the case of the landlords. "Wait, you were talking about the landlords?... I am not a landlord you idiot. I am aiming to become one."She glared at Despair, as if realizing this had clearly upset her. "Now you are even more irritating. Get your facts right. Such a noob."Replied the woman with just one taunt after the other. "There are 8 landlords, 2 in each tower and each one of them has something that I must get."She finally thought Despair wouldn't hit her which made her sigh. "Wait. you know her name? how did you got her name? She barely even talks..."It was then when a devious smile was placed on her lips. "You slept with her! didn't you? hahaha omg she's such a slut! she's not hearing the end of this when I find her hahahahaha"
For some reason, after reaching that conclusion Vanity appeared to find such fact as hilarious as she couldn't stop laughing about it. Clearly there was something between those two. OoC:

For someone so high and mighty, she was still nothing more than a child that didn't know how to keep her mouth shut. She gave him everything that he needed to know. Even when she spoke ill of Astral, Despair continued to do or say nothing. Once she finished speaking, Despair would turn his attention from the young woman and towards the tower, "I guess, I'll start with the Landlord here. Maybe they'll prove to be interesting." he stated as he would walk pass Vanity, not saying another word. As of now, Vanity is of no more concern to him, despite wanting to kill her, he couldn't pass up a chance to fight those truly worthy of his time. However, he would suddenly stop, "Little girl. Perhaps if you didn't have such an sour attitude, there would be someone that would want to sleep with you." he muttered, before sniffing the air. Vanity Eva's Youth."I would like to, pretty much." "Ohh you almost make it sound like a bad thing."Vanity teased. While she was still surprised that he'll pretty much dump her there. There wasn't much for her to be worried at. As long as he didn't comprehend the strengths and weaknesses of the Landlord's Authority she wouldn't have to worry about Despair Stealing her price. The gates that lead to the tower was guarded by a Golem which remained blocking the way for those that weren't chosen to enter. While the golem itself wasn't that much of a threat to Despair. Just like Vanity, the Golem was standing at the center of another Authority: Monarch's Reversal Which was a simple mechanism to keep intruders away. OoC:

"So, I can't pass unless I defeat you." he muttered, but Despair was now calm and relaxed, unlike before. right now, Despair was going to have to use his head and not rely on brute strength. Though this isn't unusual for him, being a demon that has lived for nearly 2000 years, Despair had accumulated enough wisdom and battle experience to last two lifetimes. Now was the perfect time for him to show all the others there, that he was above them all. Despair stood there and observed the surroundings, taking everything into account, he had already assumed that whatever trick Vanity used to reverse the force of his attack, this Golem could use as well, or Vanity would have already entered the Tower. So the problem was now how should he go about fighting something that can simply negate and then reverse his attacks. ═ ════ ══ ═══ ══ ═══ ══ ════ ══ ═══ ══════

Vanity Eva's Youth."I would like to, pretty much." While Vanity returned to her normal schedule. Beating as many as she could. The golem would simply stand there. Guarding the door with not much else to do. Pretty much a boring job. But since the Golem was mindless there wasn't much to worry about it dying out of boredom. The task, however was still about how to get the Golem to let Despair walk through the door. The golem lowered it's head o meet up with Despair. Merely acknowledging his existence. But soon it would return to it's duty, guarding the door. -------- After a while. Vanity sighed. "Phew, finally, only two more to go." She exclaimed, her face all sweaty because of the sun but also because of her effort to counter everyone at the exact time. This caused a lot of pressure on her which, so far was worth. Her next opponents dashed at her as he prepared herself to engage them. OoC:

Turning back, Despair watched as Vanity took on more of the lesser demons, despite all her talk, she was actually pretty good, but mostly thanks to that ability of hers. Watching her closely, Despair appeared to have caught on to something. "This could be worth a shot." he muttered as he built up a whole lot of power in his right hand. Right now, his power was three times as much as the simple punch he tried to use on Vanity. He figured that despite the ability, if one doesn't have the soul or right body to contain the amount of power to use, then there must be some sort of limit. Unless they could hold up to an unlimited amount of energy within them, but that would be impossible. Even Despair, with all his power, has a limit, so this Golem and Vanity to must have one. Once he felt that he placed enough energy within his hand, Despair unleashed a power beam of golden light at the Golem, this beam was enough to destroy a small village. Just encase his plan failed, Despair erected a spherical barrier of light around him, strong enough to block the reversal should the Golem be able to withstand it. ═ ════ ══ ═══ ══ ═══ ══ ════ ══ ═══ ══════

Vanity Eva's Youth."I would like to, pretty much." De golem indeed would be destroyed but not after taking retaliation. The sudden shockwave. would blast the shield's surface with incredible force. Vanity would have beaten her last opponents. all what was left was that golem. But as the shards of the golem started falling onto he grounds, there wasn't much to be done. At last the doors opened. Only to show another golem that walked forward to take the already dead one's place. "Well that was a let down ¬¬"Vanity replied, standing next to Despair as she caught her breath from her last battle. Yet she made sue to be standing inside the area affected by the Authority. "Do it again..."Vanity told Despair, as she frowned towards the golem. OoC:

That was a good little experiment for him. However, now he had to deal with yet another golem. As he was preparing to do so, Despair was joined by Vanity, as she stood next to him, telling him to do the same thing again. Looking her way, Despair smiled, "Sorry, but I'm not in the mood to do it again. I think I might consider it, if you apologize to me." Despair stated. ═ ════ ══ ═══ ══ ═══ ══ ════ ══ ═══ ══════

Vanity Eva's Youth."I would like to, pretty much." Vanity didn't took her eyes away from the golem, even when Despair tried to make her apologize. "What for ? being a virgin? I'm sorry spikes but you aren't getting any of this..."said the girl while pointing at her self with her thumb as she proceeded. "...anytime soon, now can you be a good boy and shoot it again so I can get through that door? Then you can go back with Astral and f@#$! her brains out if you want. But I need to get to the landlord."Said the rude woman, which somehow reminded of Zoey's cocky attitude back in the days when she was her former self, but nothing that Despair could recall that much to relate to her. "Look spike, I 've no Idea of what you are talking about. I don't consider you above me. Just look at you your highness. Getting into a comfortable position, he went on to close his eyes. Just like Vanity, Despair could be very stubborn as well. "You know, it would do you some good to show some humility once in a while."he stated, before glancing up at her. He knew that this would get nowhere and he really wasn't in the mood to put up with her. "You know what, forget about apologizing. Just answer one question." Despair had decided to change it up at that point. "Why are you and Astral at one another's throats? I want to know why there is so much hatred between you two. "You mean she hasn't told you?."The girl would let a devious smile escape her lips. "My my, now this is interesting. But we can't loose that much time. So destroy the golem if you don't want to wait 2 days before our next chance to get inside the tower. After all is kind of a long story."
She added pointing at the Golem. "Oh but know this, the reason why she despises me the most. Is because I can kill her off anytime I want. While she, on the other hand, can't. No matter what would she do. In the end. If I want. She's dead. So, you could tell I hold her life in my hands. She doesn't like it."She giggled mischievously as she was eager to gossip about it. After all she knew Astral wouldn't like anyone to tell about this particular subject. But time was running out and she wanted to try out the tower's challenge. OoC:

I will do the same thing to you." Despair stated as he held out his hand at the Golem. While building up more energy, Despair would momentarily look back at Vanity, "You may hold her life in your hands, but you should be careful, as I have taken on the task of protecting her. She is mine and no one takes my things away from me." he added before erected the same barrier around him, like before and then he would fire off the beam at the Golem once more. At the last second, he would increase the barriers size, so that Vanity was protected as well. ═ ════ ══ ═══ ══ ═══ ══ ════ ══ ═══ ══════
