Colson swung his axe to hit the merchant and trip him. The man attempted to dodge, bu instead Colson lopped off his feet and the man fell, striking his head on a rock. He was struck dead immediately.

Colson blinked. "uh......that was not what i was going for." he then looks up at the fleeing peasents. "Brittlestones. what do we do now?"

Zinder blinked and came out of her fighting stance. "I don't think we will have any more trouble for now, do you? I don't believe they are worth the effort to chase, Colson." She slowly lowered her hood, showing her elven like face and black hair with silver tips. Her blue eyes looked at Colson.
(lets see if anyone notices she isn't actually a really short elf! d20 to spot! please? +10 to spot.)

On the body of the dead merchant, Livian finds an extra 54 copper pieces on top of the rapier he was using during the short fight.

Zinder hid behind Colson. "Didn't mean to kill anybody." She said quietly. "Just wanted them to stop using the little dragon." Temporarily forgetting she didn't do any killing.

Zukiel raised an eyebrow at Zinder and said, "You didn't kill anyone, Zin. Do you mind if I call you that? Yeah, but you only knocked your guy out. That one." he pointed to Colson. "That one." he then pointed to Livian. "And this one." he held out his arm, pointing to it. "Killed three of them. Not necessary."

"Yes...this one..." Zukiel said, slowly inching away from Colson. "And I'd appreciate you not staring at me like that, it sends the wrong signal. Now, come out, Sho." He kept his arm out, and a tiny dragon slithered out of his sleeve, coiling around his hand. "This is Sho, my companion. He's a shadow dragon, capable of hiding easily."

Zinder jumped over to pet the dragon quicker than necessary. "Dragon! So pretty!" She said, still quiet, but with a definite note of excitement.

The tiny dragon chirruped at Zinder and nuzzled his head into her hand, enjoying being petted by a girl. Zukiel narrowed his eyes a little at his dragon, "Well, sorry for not being a girl. Sheesh, I'm not a shapeshifter like Dad." He paused for a moment, then gasped, "Stop thinking such dirty thoughts!" he said, blushing a little.
