In the blink of an eye the woman had brought up her gun, dropped the casing the contained the last few rubber bullets and shoved the butt of the gun down onto a clip at her side. With the clip in place her gaze followed Shun into the shadows but he soon vanished. She tried to follow his scent but it was hard to get a decent shot on something she couldn't see so instead she pointed the gun at Mitsu again, even though she didn't want to.

"STOP! These are high caliber rounds so I can promise you they will do more than sting! So if we can all just take a moment." She tried to keep her voice level and calm at the end, hoping the boy would see reason.

Ivan, as his name seemed to be, had actually started to shift back but as he got upright onto two legs there was something suddenly on his back.

Not again.

He was about to fight the younger man off but the tone of voice that the older woman used had him hesitating so instead he merely tried to keep the boil from doing him any harm.

With the situation paused the woman took a deep breath, focusing what she wanted to say. Instead of speaking with Shun, however, her gaze met with Ivan's. "Ivan, do you not see who she looks like?"

Ivan looked completely confused and glanced at Mitsu, looking the girl up and down before staring back at his partner with a shrug.

"Look again." She urged. "She looks just like Meiko. Gavin's wife."

"Emma, you're not making sense. You know very well that they are all-" Ivan turned toward the girl again but this time he saw it. "....dead." The hard expression in his features faltered as he looked Mitsu over once more realizing how closely she resembled her mother. It had been so long since he had seen her Ivan had forgotten.

Mitsu seemed to be the more shocked of all parties present. Looking between Ivan and Emma because she felt incredibly lost. "W-who are you. How do you know those names?"

The woman's expression warmed trying to be soothing as she spoke, finally dropping the gun as she felt it was no longer needed. "Gavin was our son." She waited for that information to settled before she continued. "You're Mitsu aren't you? We haven't seen you since you were a baby and Ginji was a scareling a little younger than you are now."

Ivan seemed to be battling with the information, the large man suddenly looking vulnerable. Whether it was the idea that they had actually managed to find someone in their family or just thinking back on those they had lost it was hard to say but it was easy to tell his eyes were full of sadness.

"Sweetie, we barely knew what happened. We were so devastated when we found your house and all the blood and-"

"Stop!" Now it was Mitsu's turn to yell, holding her hands up to keep Emma from speaking. "Just stop." Her voice was shaky and while there was a flicker of hope in her eyes she sounded far from happy at the moment. True this should have been a moment for her to rejoice and be happy but somehow all she could think of was growing up with that man and then her thoughts shifted to her brother and she looked all the more upset. Wrapping her arms around herself she took another step back.

"Sweetie please. We didn't know you were still alive or we would have found you."

"Saying that doesn't bring Ginji back." Mitsu said quietly. It was the thing she was most angry about. All this time they had been alive, out in the world doing whatever it was they had been doing while her and Ginji had lived under the roof of that mad man for years until finally.....

Emma was floundering with what to do or say, looking to Ivan and then the young man that stood behind him. Instead of pressing Mitsu or trying to get her to open up since she could tell she was upset she finally addressed Shun. "And who are you?"

"Fiance?" Now that had managed to get Ivan's attention as he turned toward the pair, steel cold eyes settling on Shun looking him dead in his one good eye. There was a fair amount of judgement in his stare as if he had made up his mind in those few short moments and what he had settled on was that this boil was no good for his granddaughter.

"Fiance?" Emma didn't seem to hold the same judgement, smiling fondly. "It's a pleasure to meet you then." Never mind they had been fighting just moments before, guns and all. How easy she was to just put that aside though to be fair she had no idea this day was going to turn out this way.

With another breath, Emma settled her gaze on Mitsu once again. "I know this is a lot to take in. I can tell you are upset and you have good reason to be. We weren't there for you when we should have been."

Mitsu seemed to shrink inward a little more as Emma spoke, looking away and leaving back into Shun as he placed his hands on her shoulders.

"I know this will take time. We have a lot of catching up to do, but if you can just give us a chance. You don't have to trust us just....we don't want to lose you again, Sweetie. Not after we just found you."

Mitsu's brows furrowed, her thoughts so conflicted. She was angry for sure, for herself but mostly for Ginji. But the part of her that had yearned for so long for a family of any kind was crying out for everything to be okay. She just didn't think she was going to be able to let it be okay all at once.

"Shun..." She said softly, reaching up to take his hand. "Let's go." She looked back up at Emma and Ivan, her expression determined. "I can't promise anything but...maybe. What I need from you for right now is to walk away."

"But-" Ivan had started to speak but as he did Emma approached and rested a hand on his arm.

Ivan only grumbled in response to Emma and gave a reluctant nod. She looked thankful as she gazed up at him before she turned to the two as they started to leave. "We will leave this one be then. Be safe."

Mitsu only nodded in acknowledgement before she turned away following Shun out of the small park and back to the street. She wasn't sure where they would be heading now, Shun probably needed to find the goblin.

"Am...I being foolish acting this way?" With her free hand she had gripped the material of her shirt just above her heart. She was so uncertain about her feelings but she was just too upset to accept them so easily.

"I'm...not really sure either." Mitsu admitted, leaning against Shun and slightly resting her head on his shoulder as they walked. She supposed it would just take time. Time to sort out her feelings and adjust to it all.

Adam had apparently been rather leery to answer the phone so it rang for some time before their was a squeaky hello on the other end. As far as where he went he wasn't entirely sure. He just knew he had ran for a long ways and was currently behind a dumpster but from the sounds of things he was likely quite a few blocks away.

Adam was a mumbling mess on the other end but he seemed to be fairly delighted at the news. Or at least that was how it seemed through all the nervous chatter before he finally hung up all together.

"Mind if I stay with you for a while?" Mitsu really didn't want to be alone right now and with Shun's currently state she wasn't sure he should be left alone. True he was hiding it fairly well but she was pretty sure if she lightly poked him he would be in some considerable pain.
