Demetrius turned his attention Back to Anne-Drew kneeling beside her making it look like he has cheeking her wound he whispered back "I guess I did such a great job you decided to reward me with my favorite feeling; pain" he chuckled and kissed her neck.
Demetrius frowned at her shadow speaking endearingly "I thought we had a little understanding; you wouldn't want to disappoint me or upset Anne-Drew now would you dear?" he found out long ago flattering her shadow was in his favor "I never said he needed to do such things, too sweet for my taste" he then helped lift Anne-Drew to her feet warning her in the same whisper as before "it's sent is weak."
He went over to Dakota and dusted him off "I think they under estimate us, treating us like children, what do you think" he knew the word 'children would set him of and smirked going back to his old self.
OOC: Ah okay, lol, ah, lol wondering how Anne-Drew well react is exciting. Lol Dakota is so much like a little child.
Valentine shook his head disapprovingly, mostly at himself, as Demetrius said he should have been wiser. There was nothing else to say about it, and nothing else he could do. "...I'll be fine. Anne's the one we need to worry about." He said, brushing Demetrius' hand off his shoulder. Anne was the one actually having a problem, Val was just tired. In his eyes, it wasn't fair to worry about himself too much.
"Yes, but then why was there a bomb here in the first place? There has to be something down this way, if they put in all this protection against it." Val said, putting pieces together in his head. Okay, so maybe it wasn't the shard down this way, but then what was it? Val was kind of curious... though, if they went to search for it, they'd be even farther behind. When Demetrius said that he and Dakota had gotten closer to the shard, his thoughts paused for a moment. "...So, quick question. If you knew that the shard was close, why not leave Dakota there to keep looking for it?" It was a pretty valid point. Now, they'd all have to walk back there, and keep looking for this stupid shard. "Jeez, this is more of a pain than I thought it would be..." He said, punching the wall in anger. This was becoming annoying, having to backtrack so much.
Dakota smiled as Demetrius helped dust him off. "Thank you~" He said just before he said something of being treated like children. Dakota mulled it over. Would his dearest, most perfect Val think of him as such? Would he go so far as to treat him like the young age he acted? No. No, he would not dare to. He was too kind to do as such. "Underestimating, perhaps. Treating us like children, no. We aren't children!" He said, getting flustered with the idea that Valentine--and Anne-Drew as well--could and possibly would think of him as a child.
His mind was taking off that train of thought then Valentine made a rather good point. "To confuse us, maybe?" He suggested with a shrug. Then he couldn't help but frown at his suggestion. Dakota all by himself? No! He hated being alone, regardless of the situation. "We weren't very far from you, actually... We were pretty much just around the corner and up a little ways. I'm sure we could get on the track again in no time."

Anne rolled her eyes at his reply. But ever so slightly she tilted her head down and kissed his forehead. "Whatever floats your boat Demetri." Anne replied with a small smirk clearly feeling better. Her shadow though curtsied when Anne looked away. But understanding or not if Anne truly wanted to know she'd find out. The two were too connected for secrets to stay hidden.
The sound of Val's voice came and with it he punched the wall. But before she could comment Demetrius child comment got to Dakota. Anne pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration. "Then let's just get back on track. I'm sick and tired of this basement...Which way is the way we came?" Anne asked glancing to and fro. Though she claimed she was fine it was obvious she was disoriented. Though Demetrius helped her up she was leaning against the hallway wall trying to get her bearings. OOC:
Demetrius nodded at Dakota's thanks, he dared not to push it further when he saw Anne-Drew's displeasure at the child comment, he blushed a bit when he remembered her kissing his forehead but there was no hiding it with his fair skin so he shook the though from his head although he was still slightly grinning "yes underestimating is the right word" he bowed his head at her shadow as it curtsied to him "once we get far enough away from this room I can easily pick up the sent again but there are also more...human scents down there as well, Valentine how much energy do you think you have left?"
Val shook his head as Dakota responded to Demetrius' remark about him treating them like children. Well, he wasn't technically wrong. Valentine had a tendency to do that to people, even though he usually didn't mean to. It was one thing that he didn't like about himself, but a flaw he'd have to deal with. "...I wasn't trying to." He mumbled to himself. He couldn't help but chuckle a bit as Dakota seemed to get flustered. He seemed very against being thought of as a child, maybe he used to get treated like that a lot. Whatever, not something Valentine was particularly interested.
He looked at Demetrius as he asked how much strength he had left. "...Enough. Come on, lets get moving." He said for a moment. Even if he wasn't 100% full on energy and everything, he would recover. And if they met anybody that needed taking care of before hand, he'd just be able to use the light from the lamps around them.
Anne couldn't help but smile at the sight of Demetrius blushing. She never thought the day would come she'd see his fair skin tinted with pink."Perhaps there's something other than pain I can reward you with after all Demetrius. You should wear pink more often. I've never seen you look so cute before." Anne teased as she awaited someone to point out which route they were taking and when or if they were spitting up again. She had her doubts. Anne knew she wasn't the only one who could've strained herself using her powers. Val had sent out a lot of light recently. She didn't doubt he was fine, but she questioned his energy level. She noted Dakota's remark about how close they were to each other. Hopefully she was right to assume the shard was close. But she also was curious of the individuals Demetrius smelt. Did the group upstairs allow others to slip in? OOC:

When Anne-Drew had kissed Demetrius' forehead, Dakota merely looked away. Just get a room already. He thought, half out of disgust and half out of... jealousy? But why was he jealous? He hated Demetrius, right? I mean, aside from his little arrangement, he didn't want anything to do with the guy... right? Dakota scoffed at his own thoughts, brushing them off his shoulder like dust.
He moved next to Valentine, as though avoiding the situation over yonder between Romeo and Juliet. Not his business, not his to worry about. He nodded at Valentine's suggestion. "Alrighty! I think we'll get this shard in no time~" He exclaimed with a hopeful sort of cheer. He began walking towards the door he and Demetrius came from, assuming others would follow. He remembered the route... vaguely.
Demetrius looked at Valentine "very well" his blush deepened a bit more as he heard Anne-Drew's thoughts he smile made her words more enticing but he didn't look her way instead he noticed Dakota bruiting about something but though it was still about the child comment.
Demetrius started to follow Dakota when he noticed Anne-Drew was still leaning against the wall he offered his arm "just until you get your footing dearest" he noticed his voice was more sweet than usual so he quickly added "we wouldn't want you falling down and leaving me another treat would we?"

Anne rolled her eyes at his words, but nonetheless she strung her arm in his. Just when she had adjusted to his flushed face and him being so sweet, the table had turned. Thus their game of cat and mouse continued."Yes that just would not do. Such treats should be saved for special occasions. Like a birthday perhaps. Not many can say they are almost as old as dirt. I'll try to stay upright. It's easier to see your blushing face this way." Anne teased practically using Demetrius as a living cane until she could stay balanced on her feet. As she walked she noticed they were following Dakota. She hoped he knew where they were going. She wasn't sure if he had any sense of direction. But she wasn't going to underestimate him. OOC:
Whatever was going on behind him, Dakota ignored it. Or... Well he was trying to. It was more like that "I'm going to pretend I'm not listening but in reality, I am loathing you and everything you do" sort of ignoring. Tsk... 'Dearest'... He thought. Why did this bother him so much? Well, it bothered him before but that was different. At least, that is what he believed.
Either which way, he decided to focus on getting back to their previous location. He didn't have much of a sense of direction but certain things would jog his memory. They eventually came upon the area where they beat up those guards. Dakota, as they passed it, stepped on one of the guards faces. Which was not by accident--no, he was a rather morbid sadist in that way. He stifled a chuckle as he did so, hearing the man's nose break. He carried on without a word as though he did not just step on some dead man's face and crush their nose. It was, in a way, his way of getting some of that anger out that came from the two lovebirds behind him.

Demetrius smirked as her slim figure slipped in beside him, the though about wrapping his arm around her shoulder so she would have to be held closer to him but then thought againstno that to much, what am I thinkingshe grinned at her words [color#660000]"I'm not nearly that old, beside; I doubt you have any objections to this ancient body" he chuckled knowing she was holding onto the arm he had pulled the sleeve off for her. His blush only increased when she pointed it out and the mention of giving him a gift "my cheeks color isn't the only thing growing" he smiled smugly "I rather take it by surprise, the reactions so much more enjoyable."
Demetrius noticed Dakota break the guards nose he stomped on the other guard's nose that Dakota had taken down "but you missed one" he grabbed Valentines arm and whispered in his ear "he's got his mind on something don't let him get hurt too."
OOC: LittleMiss I just realized you say stuff in your spoilers sorry; it was defently worth the wait. Nerdy: aren't you suppose to be the seductive one lol
Valentine followed behind Dakota, glancing back at Anne and Demetrius. Good, he was helping her walk. Valentine would have himself, but why should he deprive Demetrius of that pleasure, especially when he didn't really care one way or the other. So, instead, he just followed behind Dakota and ignored their little conversation. Eventually, they reached a part of the tunnel with a lot of bodies. Dakota felt the need to break one of their noses, and Demetrius did as well. Either they were just violent (which wasn't an uncommon trait in this clan), or had some pent up anger. Probably both. He started walking slower, looking over his shoulder as Demetrius said something to him. "Wha- ..." It took him a minute to realize what he meant, before sighing. "...Right." He said, then walked ahead of Demetrius again. He really did not like him. Sure, Val was way too polite to say anything, but it was the truth. Now, later, when and if he got angry, some choice words might be spat his way... Valentine ended up walking slightly behind Dakota, wondering where the other people Demetrius felt earlier were.

Anne simply chuckled at his words. But for a while she didn't retort to Demetrius. For a moment she just watched Dakota. Unlike Demetrius she didn't peg him as a sadist, but it wouldn't exactly surprise her. It seemed to be a recurring theme throughout the Vandel clan. Too busy trying to catch up with Dakota's train of thought but still remain undetected, she missed the exchange between Demetrius and Val. But she could sense Dakota's anger. Anger over what exactly she couldn't pinpoint. She didn't want to dive in too deep. She risked getting caught. So she quickly found her way out of Dakota's mind and then allowed Demetrius words to sink in and replied, "No doubt huh? Well I hate to burst your bubble, but you do get quite a big head from time to time. Let's not forget that. But you do make a nice cane. As to what else is growing I'm assuming you didn't mean the smug look on your face alone. Is it the scent of the individuals from earlier?"
Dakota heard Demetrius' comment about things "growing", understanding the reference, and he rolled his eyes. He hated himself for eavesdropping but in all honesty, he didn't know how not to. At him saying he missed one, he sighed. "I was only going for the one--who said I wanted to break both?" He replied coldly. Dakota was on edge, more so than he was before when they were at the entrance gate. This was starting to really bother him. He had no legitimate reason to be so bothered by it but it was bothering him and he couldn't control it. For a very brief moment, he felt as though something was--for lack of better word--reading him although he thought nothing of it. It was probably just paranoia or something to that degree.
He recognized where they were now, remembering that this was where Demetrius had decided to tease him to no end. He saw a fork in the road up ahead. "Alright, you debaucherous philanderer, you said you knew the shard was on our path right? There's a fork in the road, so you lead the way." He said after turning around and facing Demetrius, leaning over to the side a little so he could see him since Valentine was in front of Demetrius--and thankful for that fact. Not only was there more space between him and Demetrius but that space was occupied by the one and the only, wonderfully magnificent Valentine who he could not help but adore.
