The Reaper placed a hand over his stomach, as if that would help push aside his feelings of starvation. Gritting his teeth, he forced himself through the next door, which ended up spitting him back through another door to some other room somewhere.
He was really hating this spire.
Greatly.
Shun wanted to reach the end. And soon. If possible.

Lock took a moment to appreciate the pure beauty of this room. It was incredible, the way the cogs turned and the rooms were just ... suspended there. He wondered what powerful magic aligned it this way, what machinations brought it to life.
There was nowhere to go but forward, and Lock was grateful to see that there were no tiny bottles to give him strange hallucinations. Just a door, a singular door which he had to walk through. Easily done.
He stepped through the room and saw Shun glide through the other door. "Shun-" The reaper was already gone. Lock felt a great anger rise within him. Why must he always be the one to chase the reaper? Why? It wasn't fair.

Agonized by the hunger, Shun made his way to the next room. All of the sudden, his vision went out. He came to a halt, looking around, trying to figure out what had just happened. Nothing. He couldn't see a single blasted thing. He wasn't certain if the room had just gone pitch black or if he had gone blind. This distracted him from his hunger for the time being.
He had trained a number of times with a blindfold, so his ears weren't completely useless, but this still was hardly ideal. Gritting his teeth, he stood still, trying to listen for anything that might be around. It could be danger. Or it could be prey.

Lock followed through the door that Shun had gone, but didn't end up in a room with Shun. Instead, he found himself in a very plain room, without much going on at all. It was strange, it felt so ... stagnant.
After a moment or two, he began moving through the room and everything around him was slowed. He felt like he was moving at normal pace, but a paper fell off of a table very slowly. Was he ... moving faster?
This would make it easier to attack someone. That was the thought he had.

Room [1] -> [6]
Lex's eyes roamed up and down the tower, staring at it with fear at first, and then anger that flashed quickly and left just as soon. He remembered now that it was Medea, their target, that had put Ami in those dungeons and caused her pain. Medea was the reason for Ami's scars.
He was angry, but not enough to lose control. Heeding the order given, Lex soon made his way into the massive spire. ---
The first thing he was greeted with was a long column of rooms, all shifting and changing and backdropped with the sound of a clock. The Life trainee stepped into the first door, and popped into another room where everything seemed much slower, save for himself.

At some point, Shun managed to find a doorknob. He could only hope this was leading him in the right direction. Opening it up slowly, he listened carefully for signs of life all around. However, the only thing he could hear were from himself. It was very quiet all around, otherwise. The feeling of needing fear was not ebbing away at all in the slightest.

Another door, and further silence. He was very confused as to what his goal should be.
Additionally, he was curious as to what the layout of this place was. He just kept going straight forward- was it one big hallway? When he'd been at the entrance, it looked like more of a grid.
Strange.

When he turned the doorknob of the next room, he felt a great annoyance flare up within him. There was no one in the room however, so it seemed to pass.
He did kick a chair for being straighter than him though.

He spent a great deal of time in this room kicking and punching random furniture for being more better than him in different ways. One was too red. Another was too squishy.
Imperfections, all of them. Down with furniture 2014.

Huh, well then. That was simple enough.

Shun moved onto the next room. Though just as he did so, he could hear footsteps coming from behind. He whirled around and stilled himself. Damn. It was too late. Whoever it was, he couldn't reach them any longer. Gritting his teeth, he leaned against the wall for a few moments. He seriously wanted to kill something right now. Rip their fear out to feed himself and because he was pissed at this hellish place.

"Shun!" Lock called with a bloodthirsty cry. Voodoo may have been silent, but shadows were rampant in this dank corridor, and it was more than enough to supply his artistry with paint.
He wanted to rip Shun to pieces for leaving him behind- but even more so for being better than him. Shun thought he was SOOOO great. Well when he was ripped to pieces, he wouldn't be so great.
He tried to reach the other reaper, but he was too slow. The boil had already slipped through the door, and when Lock opened the wooden slab, there was nothing but an empty room on the other side. "I'll find you Shun!" he yelled, as though the reaper could hear him. "I'll find you..."

Lex dropped into the next room, finding a Reaper in the room. He grit his teeth, and pulled out the gun, training the barrel on him. "Leave, and I won't shoot." He stated blankly, strafing around to the side. He didn't have time to get in a fight, but he would if he had to.

"This room is strange ..." Lock mused. "That reaper has tricked me."
By this point, Lock's breathing was so heavy his chest was heaving with bloodlust. He snatched the shadows from a nearby shelf and hurled them into the wall, leaving an enormous dent in the wall.
That wasn't his problem. He didn't need to apologize for his destruction.

Room 1 -> Room 3
Brenley had been asleep for so long that he didn't think it strange at all when the skeletal man appeared in front of him. At least the stranger's presence broke the silence. At least their lavish, opulent surroundings weren't spattered with drying blood. At least the man's hollow, beady eyes weren't dead and cold.
The reaper picked up his menu when prompted and moved his gaze over the items on it, each one a meaningless scrawl. He felt he should have been hungry, that it was an appropriate reaction to the smells wafting about, but his stomach responded to them about as strongly as it did to the words in front of him, which was to say not at all.
His attention drifted back to the table. Whoever this undead was, he certainly had an interesting speaking voice. Bren looked down as a bony finger tapped his menu. He smiled, a strained, emotionless parody of happiness. The world went dark.
- • - • - • - The next time he awoke, chaos reigned. A blackened spire stretched into the sky nearby, and all of the students around him were practically being pushed into its base. He didn't think going inside was a good idea, but he wasn't about to start speaking again just to convey that. Anyway, it hardly mattered. He didn't protest as someone hauled him to his feet, and even though he was sure he was too weak to stand, he miraculously managed to stay upright anyway. Brenley followed at the tail end of the pack, shuffling into the tower without any fear.
Nothing could be worse than what he had seen. No act could be more despicable than the one he had already perpetuated. This was all a dream.
As soon as he passed through the tower's entrance, the floor dropped out from under him as the room fell. He finally lost his footing, a huff of air escaping him as he landed hard on the ground. Bren closed his eyes for a couple of breaths, opening them again as a wave of hunger struck him. He regretted not ordering something from the undead's menu now, but to be honest, no normal food would fill the void in him. Rising to his feet, he quickly braced his hand against the wall as he doubled over, his vision darkening. He had to get out of here. But there was no door...Quote: EVENT 1: An insatiable hunger overpowers you for the rest of this room. You cannot think outside of your need for Fear, like a terrible starvation. Everything turns blurry and dark. You lash out instinctively and attack anyone in your tire. For Hunters: your weapon nearly overpowers you with their emotions. You can't help but strike out at anything moving in the room. If your HP hits 0 and you are reset, this event is also cancelled.
