Some creeple had bad memories associated with the Haunted House.
Ignatius? Ignatius didn't have any memories associated with the Haunted House.
It was arguable that even if he did have any memories associated, it wouldn't matter. When he saw the strange entrance open up, Ignatius was immediately intrigued, and as impulsive as ever, he let himself slip right into the Haunted House and into the desert.
Ignatius wasn't necessarily fond of the desert. It was a dry, featureless place and didn't give a whole lot for his eyes to see or really think about. It was fortune for him, then, that the featureless place didn't seem to last too long, as he shortly found himself in an office which a bunch of rushing, seemingly high-strung Reapers. One was complaining about wanting to beat the Horsemen to dead bodies... The Horsemen? Those were the creeple living next to the school, right? Why would they be fighting with them?
It was clear that the lightning elemental knew relatively little about the Horsemen.
"Do you know what's going on?" came a small voice from behind him. Ignatius blinked, turning his attention towards the ghoul he recognized in passing from the Ghost Dorms. That strange one that wore the surgical mask? Maybe she had gotten curious too.
"Uh, these uptight reapers seem to have their panties in a bunch about reaping dead humans. I wonder how hard they're working to keep their panties so far up their bums?"
Serafina blinked a few times. "What?"
Ignatius shrugged. "Perhaps these are the reapers the elders warn about--"
The kuchisake-onna stayed quiet for a moment, attempting to decipher what the taller elemental was talking about with elders warning about reapers--what was wrong with reapers?--before she just shrugged and said a, "Yeah, okay, thanks." At least she knew what these people were, even if she didn't know what he was talking about with elders. That would give her sufficient clues to look around and maybe process what she was seeing--
And then there was a reaper shoving things at her chest. Intern? "Hey! I'm not an intern, sir!"
But he was already on to the next one.
... Well ... she guessed she was an intern now. For "uptight reapers." ... Great.
Quote: Feel free to interact with either Serafina or Ignatius!

Hamika would have replied to both of them. She would have even replied to the bird, who was a far better host than the two of them. Except some random ghoul (who either had some prior experience with Zaire or just really really liked to hit on boils) drapt herself across the boil's shoulders and all but wrapped him up and ate him. What was he, blood milk surprise?
The demon (Xyra) also had semi visible knees. Through leggings, sure, but they were there. And how they enticed the zombie.
The PDA? Not so much. Poor aquatic looking boil probably needed some sort of saving. Hamika didn't mind PDA so much, except it brought up terrible memories of realizing she'd never actual find that fabled "love" thing because of what she was. Cute couple-ness was fine, hugs, light kissing. Draping yourself over a random boil because he was cute? Yeah no.
It was a good thing Hamika had no real concept of personal space. Or manners.
The small zombie stepped up to the pair and with only a half hidden wink to Zaire, looked up at the demon ghoul.
"Hey, sucubus chick. You have some nice knees. Would be a shame if something.... happened to them.
And then affixed her mouth, in all its some what slobbery zombie glory, onto Xyra's right knee.

Xyra glance down at the little Zombie, wondering if this thing was real or not? She was cute, but she couldn't help but narrow her golden eyes at her "Sorry little ghoul, were you talking to me? I'm not a succubus, not one bit. But thank you for the compliment on the knees. I rather enjoy them." she grins revealing a nice set of her own fangs. Turning her eyes away from the little zombie, she smiles to the boil again. She wasn't doing anything bad, just running her fingers along the ends of his hair, and allowing him to know that she was also there.
She was a touchy feel kind of ghoul.
She didn't see any harm in that.
Careful to stand at his side, away from the other two ghouls, her tail brush the ground as she folds her arms under her chest.Cheekiebirdiee Just tossing Xyra like I was asked.

Barth froze up at his name. "Cal...der," he returned awkwardly. "Good to see you're err-" alive, "alright, um,"
He had not, at any point, checked to make sure Calder had not been mangled and/or eaten on his behalf. "You haven't seen-?"
Ah. Well. Zar was here too. He was sort of hard to miss. And he was crouching.
Barth inched along the wall. Maybe there was an unoccupied break room somewhere. With a lock on it.

Zar looked up at Sin, fascinated that she had spotted him (for whatever reason, he had convinced himself it was difficult to spot a horse-sized goat creature) and heartened that she had decided to speak to him regardless. She got a dazed smile and a nod as she passed on by to Calder and TG.
He was about to follow after when very very slow movement drew his attention sure as if the demon had waved his arms and jumped around. He stopped crouching and eyed Barth intently instead.

Amarus was not terribly pleased with the way that matters were being handled, and she was equally not sure why she was here, at an intern agency. If she had any desire to work at all, she would return to her business with Enzo.
She would not be making and running coffee to a bunch of rude Reapers whom she did not know. She was also not entirely sure what was going on. Amarus scanned the students nearby. "How, I wonder, did we end up here?" she asked, addressing Shenny, though she did not know the ghoul.
"Your taste in colours is impeccable," Amarus added, with a nod. It was one of the very few compliments Amarus had ever given, but it might be hard to tell as such; her face was blank, silver eyes expressionless. With unfamiliar students, Amarus often returned to her roots. Santime HELLO let us RP together yes

"Yup. Fit as a fiddle. Are you okay? I was glad you managed to get out, but I didn't get a text. I wasn't sure if you were on the road somewhere under the horrible heat just baking in the sun drying out - Oh Jack, Barth! Do you know where we are? It's the ..." He had to prepare himself for such a horrible word. He leaned in very close, looking around to make sure, before whispering. "...desert."
He visibly shivered before yelping. The imp he was holding bite him hard on the hand. Dropped, TG puffed out and landed on his own two feet, dusting off his jacket and glaring up. "HEY YOU MANGY PONY! You nearly just strangled me to death just then - and I'm not into that." Not unless it came with some sort reward and considering this ghoul had no boobs, he didn't think it would be a fair trade.
He looked up over at the weird pale kid and the demon. "Teach your monster some respect!" He barked up at the slouching demon before he spotted Zar - though he didn't know. All he saw was a very shy looking animal huddled in the corner.
What he saw actually was what he had been needing for a while. A ride.
Eyes bright, TG walked off to Zar and looked up to him. Then, without asking, he did a series of small puffs until he was up on the demon's hunched back. Patting it, he tested out the seating. "Oh yeah. This will do. Now if only I had some...rope..."
"HEY! Get off him. He is not a ride." Calder barked.

"Err. Yes. Fine. Teach my...what?" Barth half-asked as he inched further along the wall. His alarm grew as TG went merrily over to where Zar was waiting.
"Oh, no, you probably don't want to- err, that is- nevermind."If TG got eaten, it would give him a little more time to find a closet. He inched with slightly more urgency.

Zar was completely stunned as TG wandered over and immediately made himself at home on his back. There was a few moments where he was distracted from Barth's escape and derailed from anything at all, simply letting his feral brain mull over what to do next.
He could potentially buck the imp off, or like a reasonable creature, ask him to leave.
But as he was patted, other instincts snapped into action all over again, and numbly taking a backseat to his instincts and twisting his head around, he tried to eat the bite-sized demon.

"Ahhh! Don't do that - NO! ZAR! PUT HIM DOWN!" Calder cried, racing over to try and grab the little baby scarling if he could. The little thing was clearly fussy due to biting him, probably teething, and did NOT need to be eaten. What would he tell the parents?
TG on the other hand was not aware what was going on, making plans on who he could contact for a tailored saddle for such a awkward beast and maybe a groomer to make it far more presentable, when he saw the open maw unhinge wide and the tongue whip out to cover him.
"AHHHH!!! GET OFF ME YOU IDIOT! BAD GOAT! BAD GOAT!!" He shouted, hoping some sort of command woudl get the dumb animal to stop.
It was very lucky on TG's part he was a fire imp and that his central body temperature was always high. In a panic, that doubled, and the moment the tongue got a good hold around him and touched anywhere that wasn't his jacket, it meat the fresh burn of the imp's core body heat.
He was dropped, and Calder picked TG up, holding him close again and held a hand out to Zar in the universal gesture to HALT. "Are you okay? You shouldn't eat weird things you find on you."
Then he held TG out in his arms. The imp, at this point, had been shocked he had been nearly devoured, and was first stunned, and then, covered in drool, his eyes started to water. That dumb animals nearly ate him and got his coat all gross. TTnTT
"And you!" TG looked up, eyes misting. "Didn't your mother or father ever tell you not to go near strangers? You could have been eaten! Then what would I tell them!"
"I"M NOT A SCARLING YOU IDIOT!" TG whined, flailing his arms before he remembered what Calder yelled. Wiggling in his arms, he turned his body sideways to look at Zar.
Zar.
His eyes went wide. "Zar?"
Calder looked down at the small boil. "You know him?"
The little imp suddenly was in a fit of laughter. "ZAR?!" He couldn't believe it. That hairball was ZAR?!! "WHAT IN JACK HAPPENED? You're all FUZZ! I was going to make you my ride!!" He continued to laugh, kicking out his small legs until Calder shook him.
"Hey, that is not nice. Zar is a very handsome demon in all forms. You shouldn't laugh at him."
TG continued.

Shenny wasn't particularly sure what's going on; in actual fact, she was feeling a bit sleepy, and all these shouts and screams around were slightly annoying. That's why shel wasn't feeling particularly enthusiastic, when she was suddenly addressed by an unknown ghoul, perhaps a year or two older than Shenny herself; although, the compliment was accepted. " I wonder", she whispered absent-mindedly. " You aren't so bad, too", she smiled. " I'm Shenny, and I'm new here. I've got no clue what for Jack's sake is going on".

santime I just happen to be on ; u; So don't worry if you can't reply back as quickly orz I don't mean to pressure you-- just very excited! Amarus smiled, suddenly; the effect was transformative. She tilted her head, bells ringing gently. "Everyone is so terribly loud, aren't they?" she suggested, slightly unrelated to their previous discussion. Her natural desire to envelope the unfamiliar ghoul with her Lotus Aura, but she feared if she did the ghoul might fall asleep-- it did have that effect on others, after all.
"I am Amarus, Lotus Eater," she said, bowing her head in greeting, "I feel as though I do not belong here terribly much; do you think that following their orders would grant us more information, or merely mire us in an unpleasant situation?" she asked.
Once, Amarus had believed working alone was the only way to go. Now, she knew the value of a good team. The things that could only be accomplished by having an alliance. And Shenny seemed fairly pleasant, or at least not abrasive, and she wasn't hard to look at. Amarus approved.

Face your demons Thank you! I'll try my best not to disappear for a long time smile Shenny was hesitant. From one point, all her pre-Amity memories suggested the person who is offering their friendship, or well, at least, their attention, so easily, is normally weird and unpopular within the local community. Especially, given in mind the ghoul is probably a bit older than Shenny herself, and by no means is a sophomore. However, Amarus looked cold and arrogant enough to interest Shenny. Could the ghoul share the same traits? Anyway, the situation was not quite clear to the reaper, and she decided having a company would be a better idea than going anywhere alone. And then... let's see if this new social connection will prove to be efficient. " I understand your feeling, I suppose. I don't know much, but I'm ready for anything... isn't that one of the points of studying?", replied the reaper. " I'm the sorceress myself, and I've never met a single lotus eater", she smiled trying to sound polite, but still keeping a distance. " What do you do?"

Rojo had no idea what was going on, but he didn't much care. This place was proving to be entertaining enough to keep him occupied until he figured out why he was here and how he had come. The boil had no reason to sleep or dream, so he didn't identify his new surroundings as being anything other than another location in Amityville. A location to explore.

Darren was still at a loss as to what was going on. This was not unusual, the hagspawn wasn't ever really all that sharp when it came to things going on around the campus... Not that they were technically on campus anymore, where they? Everything had kind of taken a turn for the strange, but again, something that he wasn't unused to. Was it bad that he was starting to stop asking questions about things? He didn't know, and to be fair, didn't want to know.
So he wandered around, hoping that he would find some sort of directions of motivations or - SOMETHING - that would give him some sort of clue as to what to do. However, for the time being, he would just muddle on and hope for the best.
--
Zel was starting to wonder why he ever left his room anymore. He'd actually gone out with the intention of tracking down Xyra, and see what she was up to when he'd completely gotten off-course and ended up here. Not that it mattered much, he was sure she was fine and doing whatever it was that she felt like doing at the time. She had made mention of wanting to get a better grasp on the school, so he wasn't going to fault her for not sticking around her dorm all the time.
He really did need to get out more. Shaking his head, he rubbed his nose with thumb and foreclaw, trying to focus on everything going on around him - completely giving up any hope of tracking Xyra down and figuring that he'd just run into her later.
After all, things were strange again and that meant he had to be a bit more alert, or at least that's what his gut told him.
