"Hmmmm," Kano let out a deep husky hum while he thought about what Haku said for a moment. "I don't think it's fatigue. You're not that weak are you?" He grinned as he teased the red head a bit but he was only pointing out the facts. Plus, Kano knew his shivering didn't come from fatigue but something far different. He was full aware that Haku had never encountered being this close to anyone man or woman. Perhaps it was a good idea to push Haku from his comfort zone. In missions he may at some point have to seduce someone or let someone come this close to him in order to get information etc. However that thought didn't sit too well with Kano. He tended to be a little selfish and so if Haku was to be his then he would be his and only his.
Catching the males chin, he make Haku look at him while his arm snaked around the male to bring him a bit closer to him. As their eyes locked on to one another, he stared deeply into his with a warm gaze, "Do I make you shiver this way?" He whispered again as he slowly leaned in so that their lips were mere inches away from one another as he didn't tear his gaze away.
"I'm sorry...but I guess I can't contain myself much longer," He added, his warm breath hitting the males lips before Kano's lips brushed slightly against the males, not yet kissing him.

 Haku Tetsuya Haku squirmed a bit when Kano spoke of him not trembling from fatigue but something else- was he really that easy to read? He had to avert his gaze as Kano took hold of his chin and pulled him closer, feeling the warmth flooding to his cheeks in a wave of heat that made him dizzy. ".....I- have n-no Idea what you're talking about" He breathed, though even he knew how phony that had sounded. His gaze finally darted to Kano when he spoke of being unable to contain himself much longer, feeling the others lips ghosting against his own. He swallowed hard as he tried to fight the warmth that came to his cheeks. "ah..." He muttered, unsure of how he was supposed to actually react to such a statement. Already Kano seemed keen on touching him- as if it were the most natural thing in the world and well... Haku- didn't exactly understand how he could be so casual about it all.

Casting his gaze down at the males lips he only last statement was, "Just shut your eyes." Of course he looked at Haku waiting for him to shut his eyes and when at last he did so, Kano went in for the kiss as this one was different from the kiss he gave him back at the Inn when they were on their assignment. This kiss was far more tender and well...it probably felt a lot more genuine. Kano let his hand drift down, the tips of his finger brushing against the males skin as they trailed down the side of his neck then to his shoulder and traveling down his arm.
At first it would seem that Kano was slowly pulling away from the kiss but he had other plans. Instead, he parted from the kiss for a split second only to go in to a longer, deeper and more passionate kiss. His tongue trailing against Haku's lower lip and once he had the chance he went further than he had planned in his head. At this point he really was going with the flow as his tongue explored the other males mouth. Now at the point he figured two things would happen. One, Haku would pull away and be coy or two, Haku would pull away and slap the s**t out of him. Either way it was worth it.

Haku Tetsuya Haku hesitated for a few seconds, before he did as he was told- not really knowing that to do. He shivered as he felt fingers tracing along his skin- butterflies fluttering in his stomach. He was extremely grateful that he didn't have to keep himself upright, as Kano was doing a pretty good job of that. Haku had no idea what he was supposed to do as Kano kissed him, going to take a breath of air through his mouth- which was captured almost instantly as Kano returned for a deeper kiss- sending a flood of heat to his cheeks. The kiss made him slightly dizzy, but he did respond to this one at least, though his mind was slightly hazy and confused. He had to pull back from the kiss after a moment, taking in a deep breath of air as he cracked his eyes open - looking at Kano for a moment before he averted his gaze- obviously embarrassed. He couldn't think of anything to say so he simply kept his gaze averted, knowing that his cheeks were still bright red.

After the kiss was broken, Kano watched Haku look away and continue to avert his eyes from him. Least he wasn't slapped. That was a good thing right? Never the less he smiled and leaned forward to give him a gentle kiss on the top of his head. "It's okay, I won't go further than that," He smiled and looked to see the rain beginning to ease a bit but it would seem it would be best to spend the night in the cave. Kano stood, lifting Haku up along with him and then set the male onto his feet as he put the blanket over his shoulders as he walked over to his clothes and made sure they were dry and since they put their clothes by the fire it had quickened the process. He began to clothe himself as he went and gave Haku his clothes, taking the blanket back and spread it on the floor so they didn't get their clothes dirty while they slept.
Kano let Haku get dressed while he laid down, resting his head on his bag of weapons, though uncomfortable, it'll do. Looking to the red head he tapped his own chest, "You can use me as a pillow."

Haku Tetsuya Haku glanced up at Kano as he kissed him on the top of his head, feeling his heart skip a beat "Kay" he murmured softly, watching Kano for a moment, before he let out a soft startled noise as Kano stood up with him, taking a second to regain his composure as Kano left him with the blanket to go and check on their clothing- his eyes roaming on Kano's body for a moment before he tore them away. Why did he have to look more and more appealing as the minutes ticked by? It wasn't fair. He slipped his own clothing back on when Kano handed him his clothes- though he hesitated for a moment as he watched Kano use the weapons bag as a pillow. He had two layers for his top so instead of pulling on the tank he wore underneath he simply pulled on the long sleeved black shirt. "Can I see you weapon bag for a moment? If you stuff my shirt on the side your resting your head on it'll be more comfortable" He murmured, "Though, you can do it I guess" He added sheepishly as he sat down next to Kano and held out the shirt.

Kano sat up and happily accepted the shirt as he folded it and put it in his bag then laid down on it as it was a bit more comfortable. He then waited for Haku to lay down and rest his head on his chest. When he did, he wrapped his arm around him to keep him warm and keep him close. "If I knew kissing you would make you this adorable I would have done so earlier," he comment with a soft chuckle, raising his hand up to stroke the males hair for a bit. Kano then settled and finally shut his eyes to get some rest...well as much good as laying on the floor would give him.
The fire continued to crackle, the sound rather relaxing which helped lull him to a nice sleep. It remained lit for most of the night but toward the wee hours of the morning, the flames had died down to where they were almost out. The rain had finally stopped and so they would be able to continue their travel and they certainly had to make up for lost time.
Kano had waited for Haku to awaken and when he did, he sat up and began to gather his things, giving Haku his shirt back. The made sure to put the fire out completely and at long last they were ready to resume their travel however he did take out some rice balls that they could eat first before heading off.

Haku Tetsuya Haku didn't complain when Kano wrapped his arms around him- he liked the comfort of being held. He glanced up at Kano indignantly but said nothing , rolling his eyes as he closed them- enjoying the feeling of the other male stroking his hair. "Goodnight" He murmured softly as he dozed off, decently comfortable with his head on Kano's chest. When morning came Haku stirred- waking fairly early as he sat up and watched Kano get up and gather things. He took his shirt back- stripping off his long sleeved shirt and pulling on his short sleeved one, pulling on the long sleeved one again. He gratefully accepted the rice ball, muttering a thank you before he ate it. After pulling his hair into a braid once again he stretched and smiled at Kano "Well- ready when you are." He stated and off they went. After basically a full day of traveling they reached their destination though Haku didn't know the area at all and looked to Kano for what he was to do next.

When they finally arrived at the village, Kano remained perched in a tree along with Haku as they were camouflaged well into the background. He looked to see the village was fairly busy with people going about their days and guards keeping watch of the gates. It took about half an hour of observing to finally make a move as he jumped down and remained behind the treeline while heading to a broken part of the gate. He then grabbed a rock and threw it and with precision the rock hit a jar as it shattered and caught the attention of the guards of that part of the gate as he rushed in with Haku, climbing up onto the roof of a house and hid there.
"We need to find where their herbalist resides," He whispered over to Haku as every now and then he would peek up to try and locate the hut the herbalist most likely worked in. Luckily Haku spotted it first and so that was where they needed to go.
Three hours later with the sun down, the herbalist finally left his hut as Kano slipped in. "This is where your expertise comes in. See if you can find anything that makes the poison we found on our assassins."

Haku Tetsuya Haku stuck close to Kano- following right on his heels when he knocked down the jar to distract the guards. It didn't take him too long to recognize the herbalists hut- plus the smell of fresh and dried herbs on the wind helped him to locate it. Once they were inside Haku got to work, looking over the room to see if there was any hidden compartments, as people didn't usually keep their poisons out in the open. He ran his fingers along the bottom of a cupboard before a wide grin slipped on his lips "Bingo" He muttered as he curled his fingers into a small notch and pulled- which resulted in a hidden compartment to fall open in the wall. He raised his brows at the vials he found, looking over at Kano "Yep- they definitely made them. Some of these things are extremely rare" He stated "Should we take them or leave them? It's up to you." He added, stepping back to allow Kano to see the fifteen small vials that had been hidden.

"I personally don't think stealing is right but as I say it's best to steal something that'll cause a whole lot of trouble. Better safe then sorry right?" He smiled and started to take the vials, putting them in his bag though he do so quickly since he could hear voices outside. Once he emptied it out he made sure to shut the compartment and peeked out to see who was outside. The herbalist was making his way back along with who he assumed to be the village leader. Slipping out of the window and back up on the roof he remained there quiet. Below in the hut, the herbalist was talking about how he was finished with making the very vials they took.
"Let's go," he mouthed over to Haku as they began to head toward the gate when suddenly they were surrounded by about twenty of the village shinobi. He cursed under his breath as he wasn't sure how they knew they were there.
Narrowing his eyes he slowly reached for his katana as he was ready for a fight. At most he could fight ten to twelve but he wasn't sure how man Haku could take on. Nonetheless they might have a chance to get out of here alive.
With no words spoken the fight begun as it soon came apparent that their target was him so they could retrieve the bag.

Haku Tetsuya Emerald green orbs moved to Kano as he took the vial, nodding as he didn't dare speak now that they could hear people approaching. He crept out of the window behind Kano, acting quickly when they were surrounded by shinobi- already he had two kunai out, ready to fight with them. He did much better at close combat- though his aim was pretty impeccable. He sized up the opponents quickly, figuring he could probably take around ten of them as well, as long as they weren't too well trained. When it became apparent they were targeting Kano he switched techniques, choosing the guard Kano's back, whilst fending them off with that graceful technique that his family trained in. After managing to take out about five men he let out a hiss of pain- a Kunai lodging itself just below his collar bone- but it wasn't anything that would stop him. Instead he simply left the blade as it was- not wanting to suffer from blood lose while they were still fighting. 'Damn that stings' he complained silently, but continued fighting . There was a mild poison on the blade, but he could already tell from his bodies reaction that he had a pretty high tolerance to this one and it wouldn't prove fatal. He would probably end up with a fever and a nice scar however. After he managed to take out the rest of his attackers he checked to see how Kano was, though it seemed he had done just fine, and so Haku followed Kano's next move, though he was getting a bit dizzy already. "s**t" He muttered under his breath- not at all pleased that he had gotten hit.

More shinobi were heading their way once they took out the twenty attackign them. Kano quickly grabbed Haku into his arms in a bridal style as he jumped over the gate and into the tree's jumping from branch to branch. He continued for a while until it was safe to stop. He sat Haku down on a tick branch as he assessed the males wound. "Are you alright?" He made sure to keep pressure on the wound so that he didn't lose too much blood. At least he didn't have to worry about Haku becoming very ill from the poison that was most likely coated on the blade. If it had been him then he'd probably be in really bad condition right about now.
"Are work here is done, we should be back home in a day or two. However if you would like to rest first then we can wait till you're strong enough to travel. If you would like to head back now I'll carry you on my back. I'll leave it up to you," He smiled softly while wrapping a bandage round his arm and shoulder in a way that could bandage his wound.

Haku Tetsuya Haku had to keep from gasping as he was picked up, the wound getting jostled a little bit as Kano took off with him in his arms. When they finally stopped Haku's head was spinning and it took him a moment to really get a hold of himself. He gritted his teeth as Kano pulled the blade from his flesh, emerald eyes watering slightly as he assessed the wound. He said nothing until Kano was done wrapping it up, blinking away a few tears that had wanted to fall but didn't. "I can travel. I'll have a mild fever and could get a bit unsteady- but I'll be fine" He muttered, forcing himself to get up- being careful not to jostle his shoulder any more. "Needless to say- I'll live. And I can run- it'll be faster than carrying me." He murmured, though he took a moment to dig through his bag and pulled out a vial which he quickly downed, making a face after he did so "Vile. It'll help, but it's bitter" He muttered, placing the now empty vial back in his bag. Already his head was clearing up a bit and he flashed Kano a smile "It pays to have studied poisons and remedies."

"Good, lets go then. But if at any time you feel dizzy I'll carry you the rest of the way," Kano smiled back at him and with a nod they set off back to his village. The moon was bright enough to make the travel easier at this point in time. Kano hoped they would make it back to the village at least around the afternoon of the next day. It was best to push on to get there and take the whole day to rest. Especially knowing that Haku was ill his grandfather would allow him to rest so it would mean that their marriage ceremony would have to wait. Of course Kano wouldn't mind plus they did have some things to deal with. He had a feeling something was coming and so he had to put all his attention on preparing for any invasion that will surely come their way.
They finally arrived as they were greeted by the villagers as Kano made sure to leave Haku back in the room for him to rest before heading off to find his grandfather.
