Michiru wasn't much for... festival things. But here she was. She supposed it was better than being cooped up at home, at least. She perused the booths, run by the merchants in town and around the walls... at least until she came to a goldfish scooping booth. She stopped to look down at the tank as the host gave a very monotone greeting.
Eh, why not?
She knelt down and picked up one of the scoopers and stuck it into the water.... waiting for a fish to swim over it and to attempt to scoop it!

And the scooper broke.
Why is this so fun? Attempting to catch tiny little fish with a paper scooper?
She stood again, and brushed off her pants and awkwardly stood there for a moment. Should she try again.
She eyed the tank.
Blast, now she was determined.
Once again, she knelt down, and tried again.

Once again, foiled. She scrunched up her nose, a look of concentration on her face as she stuck the tool into the water again.
She would not be defeated, gosh dang it.

AAAAAAAaaand defeated she was. She stood again, sighing. This is why she didn't do these things. But she did spy the sign that said 'come back tomorrow for 3 more tries'.
....well, she would be back tomorrow, that's for sure.

Happily surprised at being acknowledged (she was half expecting to be ignored), Andrea practically skipped over. "Hmm... Haven't tried the dart booth yet." Or any booth other than this one, actually. "Maybe I'll tag along, if you wouldn't mind?" She cast a quick glance behind her, frowning a little when she didn't see Anton. She brightened back up, figuring that if she really had lost him he'd just turn back up at his inn room. She doubted he'd opt to sleep on the streets, after all; and he still needed her to read and fill out his trainee application forms. Even if he didn't turn up, she figured it didn't matter too terribly. It would have been his choice, and there was nothing in her bags that couldn't be replaced. "I am well, thank you. Yourself?""Just Andrea, please." Even if she'd prefer being called 'Miss', she knew it would have been attached to 'Tanzer', technically, but she wasn't overly concerned with such things. Taking a net from the pile, she made her first attempt of the day.

"Hey don't get too down..this is the 3rd day I've been at this and I swear these goldfish are mocking me." He spoke to the girl newest at trying. He eye'd one of them in particular dipping his net into the water a bit anxious to see if maybe he could have a better attempt then those times before. Looking back at Andrea he nodded a bit slowly at her request. "Alright..sorry." He replied looking a bit unsure but willing to agree. Andrea it was. "I'm alright, I think I'll take out some anger at another booth if this goes as swimmingly as I imagine it will." He added a bit sarcastically, meant in good fun of course. "We'll head that way in a bit if you want." He offered her going after his 2nd attempt for the day. Surely he wasn't that bad at fishing? And of course his answer was had when the fish floated harmlessly out of his paper napkin.

MIchiru's eyes shifted to the.. male who spoke to her, and a small smile floated onto her face. "They're just stubborn..." She looked back to the tank once more briefly. "Yeah, the dart booth sounds good. I agree."

Danny returned with Rikki in tow, this time determined to win either Rikki or Shun a fish.
"Okay let's use teamwork," she said, surrounding the fish tank from one side, allowing Rikki to take the other. "We can do it!!"
Her first attempt was a flop. But her kokoro wasn't in that swing, so it didn't count.

"Okay," Rikki agreed readily. "I get to keep the fish though right?"
He set in on the tank with a scooper, looking very focused. This was the most important game of the whole festival.

Rikki's eyes went wide in panic. "But I want the fish!"
He was pretty sure he didn't have nearly enough money to buy it for himself. He needed a sugar momma to pay for him so he could take a fish home.
He frowned very hard.

Danny laughed, but showed no intention of handing over her fish.
All the water splashing was starting to make her queasy, flashbacks to a time she didn't like remembering.

"Yeaahh..one more go." He said to the girl who said they were stubborn. "Andrea do you want to throw darts at some titans after your done with us?" He eye'd the water dipping his net in. Come on...pretty please with sugar on top? What was the other girls name? Wow he'd met a lot of new people recently. Holy crap, keeping them all straight was challenging. Here fishy fishy...maybe? Nope. "Ah man..come on already. Give a break." Alec put his net down, taking a step back so other people could come up to the both. "I'll wait for you too finish before we head over. We'll come back later." His smile was softly, waiting patiently for the 3rd member of their would be little crew.

Bas may have been attracted to the bookstore's booth simply from all the wails of disappointment coming from it. With his curiosity sparked, the young man approached the booth and eyed the game skeptically. This seemed... to be a rather difficult task. How was he supposed to catch anything with such a flimsy paper net? All the goldfish had to do was flop like the fatass it was back to freedom.
He glanced to the girl running the booth, who didn't seem to be very interested in him. She kind of reminded him of Elliot, if he was some passerby and not Elliot's totally super cool best friend (that was going to be his new title). But, she explained the rules readily enough to him. "Wait, I don't even get to keep the fish...?" That blew... maybe if this girl didn't pay enough attention he'd be able to escape with one, and gift it to Elliot. His friend had been attracting all of Bas' booth bounties. Bas just couldn't be bothered to keep them all!
