Edwin let out a soft 'Hey!' when she smacked his behind with her tail, swatting it away playfully. Pretending to act menacing to her, he pointed to her. "That's my job." He told her, finally turning and throwing away the trash. When he was finished, he walked back int time to help her fold the blanket.

She laughed and pointed at him when he declared the smacking of the bums was his job, and she continued to chuckle as she picked up her robe and slipped it back. Her fur was now completely dry, though she knew she would need to take a good shower to get any errant sand and salt off her, but otherwise, she felt fine. She decided to keep her hood down off her head for now, picking up the basket.

He stuck his tongue out playfully when she pointed at him and laughed. After finishing folding up the blanket, he grabbed his own clothes and put them on. When she picked up the basket, he went to her and took it from her gently. "Here, let me get that. It still has food and drinks in it."

She pretended to go 'Awwww!' when he put his pants back on, but it was all in good fun on her part. When he approached and tried to take the basket, she shifted it away from his hand, "It's ok, it's not even heavy and you're carrying the blanket, the least I can do is carry the basket until I get back home." she stated.

When she pretended to whine, he chuckled, playfully sticking his tongue out at her. He huffed at her comment, sometimes wishing she wasn't so stubborn. "If anything, you should hold the blanket." He said, hefting the blanket over his shoulder as he started walking off the beach and toward the sidewalk.

She playfully rolled her eyes, looping her free arm through his as they walked together, "Now stop being so fussy, we had a really good date and I don't want it ruined because you're trying to be all macho." she said, her tail curling around his.

He chuckled lightly, tail swishing softly when her tail coiled around it. "Fine, fine, carrying the blanket is fine." He said, playfully giving her hip a gentle bump with his before getting onto the sidewalk and walking down the street toward her house.

She giggled when he bumped her and she bumped him back, swinging the basket a bit as they walked. She felt a bit disappointed when the house she lived at came into sight, but she knew she could come and go as she pleased and go see Edwin anytime she wanted. "Thanks for today, I had alot of fun, but mostly, I just love spending time with you." she said softly.

Edwin chuckled more when she bumped him back, swishing their tails together more. Getting closer to her house, he draped his arm around her shoulder lightly, wanting to be as close to her as possible, for as much longer as he could. When she started thanking him for the day, he smirked playfully at her. "Aw, does that mean I'm not getting invited inside?"

She chuckled as she stopped a few yards from the door and turned to face him, "Sure, if you want to go through 50 questions from my room mates. Besides, I am probably going to shower and then take a nap, still a bit tired from that swimming." she said, handing over the basket.

He frowned playfully, but was slightly serious as well, when she said that she was just going to go take a nap. Finally, he chuckled as he shifted the blanket over his shoulder so he could take the basket from her. "Fine... you go rest up. It was nice being with you today Kitten."

She leaned up and kissed his lips, holding it for a bit before pulling away and smiling at him. Then she turned and headed to the door, but paused and looked over her shoulder at him, "Hey....if you ever just want to find a place, you know, for the two of us? I sure wouldn't mind." she said with a grin. Then she turned and finally went to the door, opening up and stepping inside, closing it behind her after she waved at him.

He leaned down some so she didn't have to strain too much to kiss him as he returned the kiss softly. He watched her head to the door after they broke the kiss, tail swishing softly. He blinked when she turned, thinking she had forgotten something, but when she mentioned finding them a place he quirked a brow. He chuckled at her lightly. "We'll see." He simply said to her before she disappeared into the house. Though he didn't seem serious to her, he thought that was a pretty good idea.
