Using my last rolls of the week for a quick example in pair and group hunting. Edward was awesome enough to let me use his Fumes! Now it's pretty easy, all you really do is full out the form, and I'll quote you with the results. Normally I'd have a different scenario for group and pair games, but I was still messing with it and didn't get anything out on time. But it's okay, I'm hoping to fix things as I go! I'm also going to try to make the forms better.
Next hunting game will be starting on the 1st of August, and I'll try including another pair and group example of attacking individually instead together. As always any questions can be sent to me and I'll do my best to explain! Everything is happening so fast, your visibility narrowed down to the prey in front of you and everything else a blur of swaying grass, flying feathers, outstretched wings, and a din of alarmed squawks. You don't notice your partner has become separated from you in the chaos. When the last turkey has taken to the air and things have settled, you have a nice turkey carcass between your jaws. Sure it's dead you set it down and look around. That's when you notice your partner had some luck of their own! You each get 4 points to add to any stat. jinxgirl5 Name of Fumes: Iskiri, Steelspark, Starblade What option number do you choose: 5 Participation point goes to this state for Iskiri: Already claimed Participation point goes to this state for Steelspark: Already claimed Participation point goes to this state for Starblade: Already claimed Unfortunately the doe is old enough to be smart and young enough to be nimble. She spots the predators and flips her tail in alarm, trotting quickly to stand with the rest of her herd. The male notices you and lowers his horns, bellowing a challenge. You decide the sharp horns and deadly hooves aren't worth the risk, and move on.

A new week is starting! Here's our forecast. Season: Summer Temperature: High of 85°F, low of 60°F Weather: Partly cloudy, scattered thunderstorms HSR: 4 Weekly news
So we had our first hunting game! I could have been a lot more organized about it, but I hope ya'll had fun! I'm hoping to work out kinks as we play, though if you have any suggestions I'd be happy to hear 'em. This week will just be roleplay (we're almost at our monthly requirement!), but we'll have another hunting game next week!

(( @Nati - Let me know if you want to continue with the roleplay we had going. We can put it in spoiler's or something 'til we reach a natural stopping point. ))
Thundercloud surveyed the land in front of him with a lot more satisfaction than he had previously. It seemed like Ginger had been a good luck charm for the pack. Not only had her gift of two grouse been more than welcome, the next day while out group hunting with Storm they had each caught a turkey apiece. Storm was so proud he thought she would burst out of her fur!
These last few days had seen an increase in kills. Small things here and there, though their chief success had been all going out together to practice their group hunting skills and finding a small herd of deer. He was sure it wasn't the same one he and Storm had seen, for it was much larger. This was good, for it meant more prey wandering into their territory. Working together the pack had targeted an older doe and brought her down with reasonably little trouble. Even hungry as they were there had been more than enough meat to fill their bellies that day and to provide a meal the next day. They couldn't count on things to stay good, but it was a nice reprieve to have their bellies wrapped around meat instead of their backbones.

Starblade had a certain excited bounce to her step as she headed back to the den. One of her first solo hunts, and she'd pulled it off! It was only a rabbit, but she thought it was nice and plump and still very worthy of being proud of.
Bringing up the rear was Steelspark. They'd left together in case they saw anything big that might need to be tag-teamed, but since their patrol saw only small game they decided to split up and see what they could nab. Her mother also carried a prize in her jaw, a stoat that had been "too upitty for its own good". Whatever that meant.
It was easy to spot the den entrance among the dark rocks, mostly cause of the blot of brightly-colored fun marking the way. Both females eeled up the path and soon came to their destination.

Steelspark huffed softly as she set down her kill, then sneezed. The musk of the stoat was still stuck in her nose. Those creatures had a lot of stink for something so small. She looked up to see her daughter practically prancing in place as she showed off her kill, and allowed herself a small smile. She too could remember the days when her first kills left her wanting to crow her prowess to the sky for all the hear. Giving the pair a moment, she slowly walked over once she deemed the minimal requirements for bragging had been met.
"Have the others returned yet?"

Starblade looked out over the mountain view, her face set into a pensive expression. The pack had been having good days, and the horrible hunting luck they'd had before seemed like a thing of the past. There was talk about moving further down into the valley at some point, as the rainy weather began to lighten up and a slight chill would soon be in the air.
She'd never seen the valleys of their territory before, strewn with lakes and open spaces between small copses of pines, though she'd heard about it.

Steelspark found her daughter sitting in the same position she'd been in for a large part of the day. Such moments weren't unusual for her, but the duration of it was. She'd been quiet even before this when they were out hunting. The female padded silently over to her daughter and settled her hind quarters on the ground.
"Something got your tail in a twist? It's not like you to be this quiet. You'll start worrying everyone by making them think you're up to something." She cast a curious look at the deep blue fur of Starblade's shoulders.

Starblade started slightly. She had been so lost in thought that she hadn't even heard her mother come up behind her. That wasn't good. No matter how deep she delved into her own mind, she should keep at least some awareness of the world around her.
She quickly calmed down though, and turned to look back at the horizon with a slight sigh. "It's nothing that important. Just.... Thundercloud was talking about moving in the next month or two. The place we're going to...isn't that where you met Dad?"
Starblade hadn't seen her father or sister since she was a kip. Neither were part of the pack, so she had very few memories of them.

Steelspark was slightly taken aback, but hid it quite well, keep her facial expression completely still and not even moving as she too looked over the horizon. She was never the best with words so it took her a moment to find something to say. She wasn't even sure what it was she should say, if anything at all.
"Ah, yea. Pretty close, anyway. Your dad wasn't all that near our den when I stumbled on him." She closed her mouth on any other words she might have added, since they could have come across wrong. They never talked about Starblade's father much. She had no idea how the girl felt about him. She cocked her head to the side. "Does that bother you, going there?"

Starblade hummed softly under her breath. "Kinda," she hazarded. She wasn't really sure of her feelings, after all. That was why she'd been out here for so long, trying to sort out the tangled mess inside of her. "I mean I never heard the story of how you two met. I didn't think about it when I was little, but now I kinda wonder over it. I mean Dad's not even part of the pack. Did he used to be? Did he ever think about joining? And Stella's never really come to visit much either."
She sighed again. "I guess I'm just wondering about family and all the bonds that hold people together. It's so weird, how blood doesn't seem to have as much hold as common goals."
