Tipping his hat down, Feytouched moved forward and hit the thing where he assumed the "snout" was, making it reel back in pain. He skipped a few steps back and defended himself, as well as cast a heal for the damage that was instant. This one was a bit tougher, but he was sure he could take it. Spotting the third rose unpainted, Feytouched took the brush from his ear and swirled the paint on easily, walking back to the guards. "Oi believe ye need tae trim yer garden." Bowing his head in respect, he shoved them the paint bucket and brush, sauntering over to the chest and collecting his prizes. Yes. This had been worth it. On her break, she and Shiro seemed to come across a large rose garden, and she held the march hare close as she watched the gardeners paint. Why were they painting such pretty roses red? She thought the white looked kind of nice. Though, as they squabbled and bickered, she couldn't help but let out a soft laugh, trying to cover it with one hand. Laughing wouldn't be very nice!
Though, it seemed, they had noticed her, and a moment later, she found herself with a paintbrush in her hand. Her rabbit gave her a quizzical look, and Usagi only shook her head, smiling.
"Well, it wouldn't do to just leave this half-painted, would it?'

Oh, yay, she was almost done!
The roses were muttering something, probably something insulting, but unfortunately for them, she hadn't been paying attention, and only hummed a merry tune as she finished paining the last one.
With that last stroke, a chest popped up, startling her.
Oh. OH, was this her reward for helping?
Oh, yay!!
She picked up a card and went on her merry way.

The next flower was not as nice as the last one. "You're so worthless!" Before Boi could respond the thorny vine nailed him in the arm. Wincing, he jerked back as the rose became larger.

Painting roses sounded like such a mundane task; until, when Reine approached the first flower with a paintbrush, it came to life and started attacking her.

She managed to compose herself- it was only a rose, after all, Reine had fought worse.
