Slow and steady wins the race, after all!
Rasali wasn't sure if she was 100% in agreement with that saying, but her lusus was some kind of turtle and this wasn't really a race, so it was probably at least half-decent advice.

Good riddance, thought Aandes as he saw Rasali drop out of the competition. Hopefully he wasn't the next one to embarrass himself.
Good god, did she just?? UGH, WHAT AN INGRATE.
Aandes wrinkled his nose. His palate was quickly becoming overwhelmed, but he tucked in anyway.
