Later that afternoon, the bell towers chimed the onset of 6 o'clock. By now the sun was starting to set and many of the daytime employees at Nintendo had gone home. Eiji (Eric) made his way to the two rooms with a couple other of his coworkers. First he went to the girl's room and cleared his throat. "Good evening ladies. At this time, the official Nintendo event would like to begin. If I could have all of you please follow me and my colleagues, we will be underway shortly. Please do not forget your games, as they are vital to this event." He gave them a bow before speaking to one of his colleagues who was pretty OK with English to help the blind girl. With that he went to the boy's side, repeated the message, and left in the same manner.
Once everyone started to come out he led them through the Halls of Nintendo HQ. It had to be a 10 minute walk to where they were going, but Mr. Tajiri was very clear that he wanted to to be kept as secret as possible and take no chances. Finally the group ended up at a large steel door, which Eiji opened with a swipe of his Nintendo ID card. Inside the large room was a very large TV screen and lining the walls were tables with cords. Eiji stepped forward and asked for attention from the group. "At this time I will ask you to select a port to plug in your games, but DO NOT turn them on. I will fetch Mr. Tajiri so he may explain this event to you personally." Again he bowed and left the room, the large steel door closing behind him. Two of his colleagues stayed behind to guard the door.

Tyler looked around, he had been playing his games so long he lost track of time. He had of course been following the group but he hadn'tpayed much attention to the others, he felt a bit bad about just ignoring them. He noticed the time was getting late as the clocks had chimed 'Hmm... How long have I been playing?' he thought a bit confused.
"Because friends are everywhere!"

After he had left the boy's side of the room, and ventured out into the halls of the large building, Luke had taken the initiative to wander around. Most of the place, he had already taken pics of, and were in accordance to the policies of the company, as evident when the daytime workers had prevented him from going in a couple of rooms. It made him wonder what kind of secrets were held behind those doors, which were labeled only with the number it was designated as. He didn't pry however, knowing it would have gotten him into some trouble that could cost him to get kicked out, something he didn't want to happen.
Eventually, Luke had settled for taking pics of workers who had the time to, before he had found himself in a open lounge of sorts with Japan's exotic vending machines. He had already seen a great deal back when he had been at Kyoto's airport, and it was always a pleasant sight to see items you would never really see back in the U.S. The products within the machine were useful edibles as well when it actually did serve food, and not something like underwear. After taking a couple of pics of some vending machines he didn't see at the airport, Luke had gotten out some money, and placed it into a machine that served ice cream.
He couldn't read the kanji to save his life, but he did know which looked good from the pictures provided, and the cost of it, which was basic stuff. A blue and white spiral one caught his eye, since the machine did have in bold white letters the word "new", which was over a red foam finger-esque overlay. Choosing that as his ice cream to be, the machine had soon popped out his frozen desset treat, Luke taking off the lid, before consuming the ice cream. It was one of those push-up ones that can leak out from the bottom while you were eating it, something he disliked, but couldn't help prevent.
Taking the bought treat with him, he headed back towards the boy's room approximately fifteen minutes before the event was expected to start. To anyone who was in the room at the time, they would see Luke slurping up his frozen treat, while he walked over to the bed he had claimed. A moment was taken to remove the camera, but only to look at the image quality like he had done earlier. Before he knew it, it had been six o clock, and the representative from before, Eric, had came to the boy's room. They were told to follow the man like this morning, but to bring their game systems with them, and their chosen game.
Luke nodded, grinning, his camera long before the man had arrived, was back around his neck. He already knew what game system he wanted to bring, and what game. Respectively, they were both his palkia and dialga limited edition onyx colored ds, and Pokemon Ruby. Both were behind the generation the 3Ds were from, but it didn't matter to him. While he enjoyed having a 3ds for playing Pokemon X and Y, since Pokemon Amie was an adorable aspect of the game, he loathed how neither the 3ds and 2ds were capable of playing gba games, and he wouldn't give up his Pokemon Ruby edition for anything.
He's had the same cartridge for a long while, and periodically just removed the hardware in the back, and changed the batteries that way, even though it would have been easier to get a new one period. After grabbing his gear, he followed the representative with the others, where they were led through what had to be a ten minute walk. Luke didn't question as to why, or how, he just enjoyed the trip there, knowing they weren't going to see the place for awhile due to the gaming involved. When they had finally been led to one large steel door, he had seen exactly why the room was such a secret.
Inside the place was a large Tv screen, and lining the walls were tables with cords. Eric had asked them to plug their games in, but had stressed not to plug it in, Luke nodding, as he chose one by Cole. There wasn't any problem simply plugging the wire into the game system, the screen faced open for when they turned it on later. He left it there, and turned around, eying the number of people that came. He didn't really get to talk to anyone much, but it would be fine, since they would play the game together anyway.

Meiko awoke with a start. When did she fall asleep? Looking around at her surroundings, she assumed she had fallen asleep inside the limo sometime during the ride. She laughed a little at herself. Wow, I didn't think I was that tired from the flight here. Pushing her thoughts aside, she unbuckled her seat belt and moved to get out of the limo.
She paused, taking in the sight of the large Nintendo HQ building. She'd seen a lot of large buildings from living in New York, but this one stuck out to her. Maybe it was because it belonged to Nintendo. Excitement welled her way inside her as she let herself out of the limo and into the sunlight. Curious, she took her phone out of her pocket to see the time. "Oh crap.... Is it after noon already?" Shoving her phone into her pocket again, Meiko hurried off into the building.
It took a few tries down the confusing hallways and a few helpful HQ workers, but she finally made it to where the rest of the group had disappeared to. Where the girls had disappeared to, anyway. Luggage in tow, Mei found her way to a vacant bed she could call her temporary home, and started setting up her things.
She paused seeing the picture of her family she had packed away. Well, her family and all her father's friends at the base. They were pretty much like family. The photograph made her smile, feeling a small homely comfort from it. After setting it down on the stand next to her bed, she finished unpacking and slid the empty bag underneath. Grabbing her laptop, she fired it up to check websites and update her blog.
Her computer time was interrupted only by Elji/Eric entering the room to make an announcement. The green haired girl logged out of everything and shut her laptop, then followed the groups out.
Her eyes widened at the sight of the room the man had taken him to. She hadn't seen a room quite like it before. Once Elji left, Meiko chose a plug at random and stood by it. She took the time to notice there were a few new people she hadn't gotten the chance to meet yet. Seeing one nearest to her, a boy with blondish hair. "Meiko Hime." She introduced herself, inclining her head slightly in greeting.

Shortly after gazing around the room, his attention was called for to the left of him, making Luke turn towards the source. A girl with dark green hair and brown eyes stood in front of him, slightly bowing, before she had introduced herself. 'Meiko Hime huh?' The russian male had thought to himself smiling, as he returned the bow and introduction. "Luke Richards. So, what game did you bring along?" he asked, trying to make light conversation as they waited. When she answered, he would tell her about him bringing Pokemon Ruby, and how he enjoyed it's concept about working with the villains.
He did have other subjects in mind, since they were at the event of the century, with one huge question he was looking the answer to being, how Game Freak planned their in-game appearance. Would it be customizable like Pokemon X and Y? Judging from the number of eventees it was possible, or if perhaps they were to play a role of one of the main characters? And if that was true, then what she thought she would end up being. Most of the questions he'll probably won't be able to ask, since wherever Satoshi Tajiri was, he figured they still had ten minutes or less to really have this light conversation.

Diana woke up to the announcement, and Bravo was ready to be assisted as the man sent over someone to help her. She had the helper carry what she needed and let Bravo follow after him to lead the way. Plugging in to whatever port was open, she sat down quietly with Bravo at her side. She didn't have anyone sitting next to her yet, but she doubted that would be an issue, since she figured where one sat wouldn't really matter. Once the helper had set up the system, she smiled and thanked them, waiting patiently for whatever was to come next, partially listening to what everyone else was talking about, but not interjecting to anyone.

After hearing his question, Meiko reached into her pocket and rummaged around for a moment before producing a square yellow game cartridge. "Yellow, actually. I've got a lot more, but this one has got to be a favorite of mine." She explained before slipping it carefully back in her pocket. It was her first pokemon game she'd received since she grew a liking to the series years ago. The game brought her a sense of nostalgia when she played it, which she would still do every now and again.
She opened her mouth to speak to Luke when another boy approach and start speaking to him. Deciding to wait, she looked around the room to the rest of the group. A strange girl caught her attention. Or more specifically, her dog. It seemed out of place to see a dog in the room. Perhaps the girl needed him? On closer inspection, she noticed her eyes were bound. Curious of who the girl was, Mei dug her game back out of her pocket and placed it by her plug to mark her place, then walked over. "Hello, I'm sorry to bother you. Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Meiko Hime. Or Mei, whichever you'd prefer. What's your name, if you don't mind my asking?"

SPEAKINGTHINKING To be completely honest, which Emir usually was, Emir has been absolutely disgusted at the announcement that he would be living with his fellow males as if in some kind of idiotic group home. His mood completely soured at the sight of the room with multiple beds. The male side, as it were. He stared angrily at where the workers had deposited his stupid luggage and brooded over the implications of such an arrangement. Snoring for one was going to be a problem. But also he worried a bit over his personal items and mainly the bathroom. “Really, a multi-million dollar corporation and we don’t even get our own rooms?” he muttered to himself completely unhappy with the situation. He was out of here. No way, no how. The next morning he would have a talk with the staff and relocate himself to a quiet room in the nearest hotel available. He had enough cash saved up.
He ignored his ‘peers’ and went straight for his suitcase, unzipping it and pulling out his hygiene kit. He needed to switch out of his contacts soon. His eyes were starting to feel irritated, or maybe that was just his general state of being. Without a word to anyone he zipped back up the bag, replaced the tiny lock and wandered into the bathroom before locking himself in for the next couple of hours to groom. At that point no amount of socializing could have improved his mood. He was sick of introductions, sick of people, and sick of Nintendo’s inability to build a goddamn wall between himself and everybody else. Really? Did they have to build a room? It would have been less money to just rent out a few hotel rooms. One roommate he could deal with but eight?! He followed a few minutes after the message fetching himself a sweatshirts and his glasses, as well as his pokemon Black which he wished had Pokemon Amie installed on it. He needed a distractions.
Emir entered the room a bit later having stopped by to grab a complementary bottle of water to sip on while he waited. Despite the shortcomings he’d come to so far, now that IT was finally happening he started feeling genuinely excited. The closer he got to the event area the faster his heart seemed to pump out adrenaline through his system. His teeth threatened to chatter and he felt the strange butterflies bouncing around in his stomach. When he walked in though he noted there were a few people missing and that only made him more excited. Nothing could ruin this right? The pinkette took a moment to appreciate his surroundings before noting the group. He didn’t recognize a couple of them. Probably late kids. “Sorry for the wait, I guess.” He apologized lightly glancing at the blind girl. OR well, more importantly her puppy before noting the other stranger. “Emir.” The young man stated not caring anymore about introductions. He gave a nod of acknowledgement at Meiko before doing the same for Tyler. “What’s up?” the male offered casually. He wondered if anyone else would bother to wander in, before opening his bottle and taking a few careful sips. Quietly, his smiled to himself happy to see a few of the more unpleasant ones having not bothered to show. He wondered if he’d chased them away. The thought made him chuckle at their weakness. His judgment had been right on the money.

Christian promptly went along with the group as the event was called to begin and everyone was led through the halls of Nintendo. As luck would have it he was at the back of the group and once or twice he almost felt left behind. Eric their guide, moved quite quickly. He still had the sense of urgency that he had at the airport and Christian couldn't help but wonder if he was every pleased with anything. Oh well, it probably couldn't be helped.
As everyone filed into the large room with the TV screen, Christian couldn't help but feel an incredible wave of excitement. He was finally here; this was it. He wasn't sure why there was only one TV screen, but perhaps this was a new MMO that they were testing. Not only that, they didn't really need TVs of their own, after all. The seats lining the walls were quickly filling up and there were two Christian had his eye on; on by Diana and one by the pink haired boy, the one from the limo. No thank you. Christian immediately went over to the one chair on the other side of Diana, since one girl with long dirty blonde hair went over to her as well. Christian couldn't remember if he knew her or not but he gave her a nod and a smile regardless. He waited for Diana to answer before giving his own name, since the question was directed to her. "Chris," he added, reaching down to pet Bravo. Surely he was more or less off duty at them moment and could afford a few pets.

Diana heard the steps of someone else approaching her, followed shortly by a female voice introducing themselves and asking her name. In response she also heard Chris come up and introduce himself before sitting in one of the vacant seats besides her. A light smile on her face from this, she looked towards the Meiko. "Hello, I'm Diana, It's nice to meet you." She said brightly. Bravo was ecstatic to have the attention, but he played it off at first, until a light click from Diana let him know he was off duty, at which point he immediately jumped up and put his front paws on Chris' lap to help him pet him better.
I can do this right...

When she had pulled out Pokemon Yellow, explaining it was a favorite, he smiled as he politely commented on the game. "Yeah, it was a nice take on following the anime. Seen some pretty sweet fake remake covers too." He had pulled out his Pokemon Ruby afterwards, which he had worked hard to keep in perfect condition with all the battery changes he did over the years. "Pokemon Ruby for me. Always liked the idea of teaming up with the villain as part of the whole 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' phrase." Like what Meiko had done, after his explanation, he had held onto it carefully as they continued to talk.
At least, that was what he had expected, before a boy had approached them, talking to him specifically. Meiko's attention had drifted off elsewhere afterwords, making Luke figure she was probably shy or something at possibly having to talk to so many people. So, he turned his attention to the boy after telling the girl they could continue it later, smiling in greeting at the other boy. "We were actually just trying to pass the time talking about what games we brought. And no, not at all. The name's Luke Richards." he had explained the situation between him and the green haired girl, even holding up his cartridge, before introducing himself.
That was when, from his peripheral vision, he had seen a guy with pink hair and a tan approach them, giving a single nod at Tyler and a small greeting. "Just passing the time by talking about what games we brought. I mean we are going to have to figure out who's who when we go in. It's Luke by the way, if you didn't catch it." He had placed his cartridge down, still clutching it carefully in his hands incase anybody else wanted to talk to him, which he didn't mind. If they were going to play the game for who knows how long, it was better to try and get used to talking to everyone if the game was going to be completed properly.
Minutes later the steel door that blocked everyone inside from the outside world opened again and Eiji walked through, leading another man in. The door closed before he started talking. "Players, allow me to introduce Mr. Tajiri Satoshi." As good as his English as, he presented the man's name in the traditional Japanese fashion of last name first. "I will be translating for Tajiri-san and he would like me to assure you that there will be time for autographs later on, but first things first. Without further ado, Tajiri-san.
The other man stepped forward smiling at the crowd of young faces around the room. He knew this was going to be a legendary moment and he wanted to make the most of it. And so he began his speech. "こんばんは" he said smiling. "Good evening," Eiji translated. "私の名前田尻智です。 すべてのは、来ていただきありがとうございます。 では、任天堂でここで開発された新しいブランド仮想現実システムのテストを選択したされています。 システムはすべて任天堂コンソールとの互換性があり、このシステムの最も普及したゲームシリーズ:ポケモンを使用してテストすることにしました。 は、の開発チームと私はあなたの操作は画面を前に見ているものとする、との目標は、ゲームを最初から最後まで再生して。 私は警告しなければならないことはありません。このような何もする前に自分の人生で経験したことがあり、それは重要なことは、一緒にゲームを進めるために作業することになります。すると、良い運をもう一度来ていただきありがとうございます。" (My name is Satoshi Tajiri. Thank you all for coming. You have been chosen to test out a brand new virtual reality system developed here at Nintendo. As he gave everyone a farewell wave he turned to Eiji and gave him a few last minute instructions before leaving as quickly as he had come. Eiji started to back away towards the open door as well. "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm told the system is now powered up and online, so you are instructed to turn your games on and start a new game. Let the event begin." He gave everyone a reassuring smile before the steel door closed behind him. He then made his way upstairs to where Tajiri and the dev. team had gathered to watch the screen from an upper floor.

After the announcement from Mr. Tajiri, Tyler finished talking and shaking hands with Luke he decided that he would go back to his game and prepare for the event to start. 'This should be fun! I can't wait' he thought to himself standing next to his position and turning on his game.

Diana looked to the door as she heard it open, and listened to what was being said. She was rather excited, but at the same time, she wasn't sure what she was to expect. Turning to her game console regardless, turning it on, at the very least having memorized the start up for her games, even though once it was turned on and the files were loaded she'd be totally in the dark. Bravo had gotten down, laying calmly beside Diana until it was time to head back to the room, taking a much needed nap.
