Qixel Rao doubted that the captain was powerful enough to take on all the potential feminists that he saw here. But then again, in anime it's always the old dudes that singlehandedly hold back the bad dudes until the hero can get strong enough to save the day. Maybe this old dude is the old dude that will help me stop the feminists until I can find groudon at which point he will die and give a motivational speech about the power of youth and friendship and all that other stuff and then the day will be saved.Turning back to the captain, he nodded. "Your sacrifice will not be forgotten, old one." Without waiting for a response, Rao turned and walked over to the sleigh, Sidley atop his shoulder. First things first - he had to distinguish allies from enemies. To do that, he had to be stealthy. Tactful. Smooth. The Captain blinked and said to the back of the trainer "Uh, thank you...?" Chibi_Kokoro143 Alice stared with a feeling of mixed emotions. She...doesn't know what to make of sleigh. She picked up Shimmer and went up to the sleigh, stopping besides the dragonite. "Hello, Dragonite," she said as she reached her hand out show that she was friendly. Pearl sniffed the trainer's hand and made a 'pleased to meet you' rumbling sound. FrostyPeaches Christina stood around with the rest of the crowd when a worn out Dragonite came into view and eventually stopped infront of them. Her eyes slowly left the horrid view of the Dragonite and followed the harness that was attached to what it seem like a gigantic sleigh! From the looks of it, it seemed very expensive and heavy! Not giving the slighest attention towards the oversized sleigh, she ran over to the poor Pokemon with a lot of concern. Who in their right mind would make this poor thing drag that piece of **** all the way to here? Let alone the distance she had to travel! "You poor soul," she said as she touched and rubbed the tired out wings of the Dragonite with her bright yellow gloves. They were just not as big and strong as a Charizard's. Christina gritted her teeth when she saw the man who was on the sleigh mere minutes ago, now standing there demanding other trainers to sacrifice their own pokemon to pull the heavy sleigh. "You should of thought about this before you took off," snapping at him underneath her breath so that no one could hear. She took out her pokeball and threw it towards the already harnassed pokemon. "Come on out Kiwi." The Deerling appeared and stood infront of the Dragonite, Sharkpedo, and fullgrown Sawsbuck. "Just as I thought. This won't do at all," and she walked over to the Captain and tapped him on his shoulder. "Excuse me, but I think my Deerling is just too small to help out at all. Look at their size differences. If he gets harnassed his hooves won't even touch the ground," she said as she pointed her finger towards her own sparkly well groomed pokemon. It's not like Kiwi would ever agree to help out since this sleigh pulling requires physical exercise and sweating... So many nice little humans! Pearl greeted the next trainer with a smile (as non-threatening as she could make it). The Captain noticed the trainer explaining the size differences. "Not a problem! Now that Pearl has had a good rest, and some other help, I think we'll get there just fine...But if anyone else has a big and strong pokemon to lend, it would be greatly appreciated!" ((The sleigh will leave either tomorrow evening or Tuesday, then you'll have another day or two to RP your character in the sleigh))

"Yeah sorry about that. I'm more worried that he'd get trampled instead of being able to pull this... big sleigh..." She looked at the gigantic wooden polished object and noticed the coloured seats inside it. She then turned back to face the Captain. "Well. I guess I will be of no help. I'll get on the sleigh now." She called her Deerling over, picked him up, and put him into the sleigh. Shortly afterwards she heaved herself onto the gigantic thing and took a seat closest to the Dragonite. It was surprisingly friendly. Christina even saw a few other trainers feed her berries. Too bad it was so crowded or she would offer it water. Reaching out with one hand, leaned over the side of the sleigh, she tried to pet the Dragonite from where she was sitting.

Sunny removed her bag and sat down to join the friendly pair. Sunny Giggled as she saw how happy Ronen was she put out her hand to him. "Nice to meet you Ronen my name is Sunny. I have a pokemon also not as cute as you mine is a ghost named Mr. Grim he is big and strong so he is going to help pull the sleigh. Well I hope he gets distracted easily." She said with a chuckle. She looked over at Arissa. "Sorry about that my name is Sunny cute pokemon always make me so happy. Nice to meet you."

"Oh yeah. Farvardin is always excited. I think it may have something to do with the fact that she wants to battle. She probably figures your Volcarona would be a good opponent. She loves to battle." Alexa explained. Hearing Vincent talk about Hotaru she grinned. "Hotaru is a nice name and I'm sure he's impressive in battle. Maybe we can battle some time?" She said, "Hello Vince nice to meet you an Hotaru. Oh you're a bug catcher? Hm.... what's your favorite buy type?" Seeing the sleigh come up she stopped to stare at it for a moment. "Wow. Big sleigh. So guess we should get on." She paused and looked at Vince, "Wanna keep chatting on the sleigh?" When she heard the captain ask for help pulling the sleigh she looked to Farvardin. "Well I guess I found a way for you to burn some energy." She said to her Houndoom before turning to Vince, "Well see ya at the sleigh." She walked over to the sleigh and looked at the captain. "My Houndoom can help pull the sleigh. She's certainly big and strong enough." She then went to the front and began putting on a harness that was there and empty. She had enough experience putting on harnesses just from putting them on Vincent.

((sorry for delayed reply, I'm still sick. I am starting to feel a wee bit better today but still, I'm up and down.)) Cara sighed slightly and smiled at Remmy and his Teddiursa. "Hey Remmy and hello there Pooh, it is a pleasure to meet you." She reached over and scratched the Pokemon's head. "This is Sage. She's a Poochyena. I believe I told you about her on our last little...expedition." Cara said, gently scratching the Poochyena behind her ears, where she really liked it and pushed herself into Cara's hand. Sage barked in greeting to the boy and bear, who was apparently sound asleep. How could you be asleep with all this excitement?

These humans were so nice, not that her human wasn't nice to her. She enjoyed the extra attention, though. Bluedemonwolf She walked over to the sleigh and looked at the captain. "My Houndoom can help pull the sleigh. She's certainly big and strong enough." She then went to the front and began putting on a harness that was there and empty. She had enough experience putting on harnesses just from putting them on Vincent. "Excellent!" The Captain said once more, this time to a trainer with a large Houndoom. "Let me know if you need any assistance or have any questions."

Aya looked up from her drawing blushing. "Sorry I wasn't really working on anything. Just letting off steam. I Draw or write when I can' t think. She looked down to her side at the meowth pawing around her bag. "I wouldn't play in there if I were you. I'm nice but my partner can be a bit of a diva." She reached over in front of the cat pokemon to slip some sandwich out of the front pocket holding it out. "Here I don't bite it's tuna. You guys want any?" Holding the sandwich out she saw everyone moving towards the sleigh. "I think if we want to go we better move fast Very is small enough to ride on my shoulders I doubt they'd want her pulling that thing. She's too moody anyway you'd think they were trying to maim her before we even got started." Aya laughed gently.

 Robin smiled. "Well, it looked like a very nice drawing." Chopin took the sandwich in her teeth without a moment's hesitation, but gave the young woman's hand a gentle headbutt and purred in appreciation as she tore through the bread to get at the fish. Her companion looked embarrassed as the feline deposited most of the bread, still containing a smattering of tuna, at his feet. Nonetheless, Robin retrieved the decimated sandwich and, after self-consciously brushing off the dirt but with no apparent concern for Pokemon slobber, took a bite himself. "Thank you very much. It's delicious," the violinist said sincerely. "Yes, looks like they're just about ready. Chopin here isn't nearly large enough to help, either, and you know what they say about herding cat Pokemon." He grinned sheepishly as the Meowth gave him a disapproving look. "I'm Robin, by the way."

Opening her mouth a little Aya had to stop herself from releasing a gasp. So as not to embarrass him she nodded gently. "I'm Aya... Liranth for now soon to be Skye if I can get my emotions down on this trip. That's why were here. To get a little R&R from my life. Oh well i'll show you the book if you want to sit with us" She said motioning towards the Sleigh. "I have some more snacks we can share.I don't usually let anyone see my art I'm just super self concious" She tried not to let any form of pity show on her face. As she reached for her notebook in her bag the bright auburn head popped out of the top and sniffed the cold air Chuffing. "VERY" the girl said exhasperated. "Your a fire type stop being such a wimp."

Gallifrey watched the pokemon being hitched to some sort of vehicle. A sleigh, his human had said with a bit too much of childish wonder the leafeon couldn't begin to understand. His ears twitched, recalling hearing his father and old large persian tell stories of pulling sleighs. He gave a questioning whine to his trainer, did he had to pull on the sleigh?
"I think you are a bit too small, strong, mind you, but too small. No to mention you'll probably freeze your paws off..." Heal chuckled, scratching behind his pokemon's ears. "Maybe I should had brought Tripod or Arthmael as well, but they are both so fussy about the snow."
Gallifrey didn't care for being called small. He was quiet big, thank you very much. His father was a ninetails, it gave him bulk!...well, at least he liked to think so. In all honesty, he had never met another Leafeon before, and had no way of comparing. He gave a bit a squack of yelp when he was picked up by his middle and hauled up onto the sleigh. Well then...He stuck his tongue out at his trainer.
"Oh shush, you baby." Heal grinned as he looked for a seat.

Robin could see that Aya had figured out his situation, but said nothing on the subject. There were far worse reactions than pity, after all. He was not ashamed, but he wasn't about to be the one to start that conversation. He started toward the sleigh. "It's nice to meet you, Aya. I'd love to see your artwork, if you're comfortable sharing. And perhaps I could play us a tune later." He affectionately patted the violin case at his side. Chopin trotted along beside Robin, and meowed in friendly greeting as the Vulpix emerged. Robin chuckled at Aya's chastisement of her Pokemon. "Hello there, pretty one."

Aya laughed at his niceness. "She wouldn't be half as nice to you but it's really endearing to hear someone call her that." She strode toward the sleigh grabbing the side to try and pull herself up. "That's a violin? I haven't heard one played in a LONG time. Not since I lived with my parents. That's wonderful!" She managed to jostle the squirming vulpix out of the way to pull out her notebook and hand it behind her. "See? this is what I do anymore. I've changed habits since moving to moterossa" Very Chuffed in indignation and hopped out of the bag to sniff the newcomers. Her eyes settling on the young man and his shoulders with a wicked grin she leapt for him. "VERY HE'S NOT YOUR SEAT"

Zak watched in slight awe as the Dragonite and the sleigh pulled up. Flora, in his arms seemed mildly interested in the pokemon until she noted the creatures wings and let out a soft puff in disgust. Zak made his way, over with the rest of the group, but waited until the captain of the sleigh wasn't busy before he asked his question. "I've been wondering, how on earth did you convince your Dragonite to come out the cold like this?" The male asked, "My dragonair refused to come along on this trip just for that fact. My crobat as well. Neither of them like the cold it seems." He lifted up flora a bit "Flora was one of the few that seemed eager about the cold."

Flora, in his arms seemed mildly interested in the pokemon until she noted the creatures wings and let out a soft puff in disgust. Zak made his way, over with the rest of the group, but waited until the captain of the sleigh wasn't busy before he asked his question. She grinned toothily at the Captain, she did seem tired, but he assumed it was from pulling the sleigh. "It slipped my mind actually to ask if she cared! Terrible of me, excuse me just a moment." The Captain took off his (oversized) striped, blue scarf and held it to his Dragonite. "Pearl! I'm so sorry, I didn't even think - it's not much, but do you want this scarf?" Pearl rumbled happily, put the scarf on, and patted the head of the Captain with a smile. She looked at the Seadra, " "

the seadra puffed back at the flying dragon. there was a bit of hesitation before the seadra spoke again. Zak was still eying the Dragonite. "She is quite beautiful," he mused softly. "Captain, do you think Flora would be able to help pull the sleigh, she may not look it but she is quite strong. If she froze the snow under the sleigh as we went there would be less friction and thus less stress on the remainning pokemon."
