Rin was busy tending her garden first thing, had to make sure everything was prepared to face the sun before it rose. That was when her phone went off. She glared at her phone with the wrath of a thousand gods. Really Melvin? Really? She had a full day planned and had not even eaten yet. She wrapped up what she was doing and fired off a return text. Moon*kitsune Text to Melvin: what have you gotten me into now Melvin has such a big mouth sometimes. He was certainly going to pay for this later but for now she was going to suck it up and help him. After arriving however, she made her annoyance clear by staring daggers at the man the second she caught sight of him. The stare continued as she approached and it continued even after she settled in at his side.
You owed Rin one morning for being a bad boyfriend.

Melvin looked at Rin glaring next to him and just waited it out a few minutes. He waited, readjusted himself in his chair, crossed his arms, and looked at her STILL glaring back at him. The fact she wasn't talking was really not doing wonders for his mood, and if she thought that throwing some sort of guilt would pay off, she had another thing coming.
"What?! Are you pissed off that you are here? It's not like I skipped over and signed up for this class. It was either this or I do community service with no pay. Moon community service, and while I'd like to learn more first aid, you know they'd throw me out there building something or doing some grunt work. I can't help it if some dumbass got their panties in a knot and reported me, and you are the only one I could call."
He crossed his arms again. "So stop giving me that face and talk or something."

Noah to the rescue. Peyton would have loved to have been able to do something to make Otto feel better, but she didn't know the root of the problem, and Otto was right, they just didn't know each other that well. So even if she was disappointed when he waved and slipped away, she understood it. Waving back and smiling as reassuringly as she could before turning to Noah as he appeared in the common room. "Over here, Noah!" She'd wait til he came close before gesturing to the now vacant chair she was perched on the arm of. "Thanks for coming. I dunno why we need partners."

Noah sat down on the chair obediently, giving Peyton a smile. "No problem. Is this, like, a seminar?" He shot a nervous glance over in Caelius's direction. "Cross-division and stuff?"

Peyton followed his gaze, eyeing Caelius warily before shaking her head. "I don't really know. Sensitivity training is what they said, but I'm not sure what that'll be including." She hoped it really was what the title boosted, but this was Deus..

Allan was now helping himself to the Pocky he unloaded, waving and smiling. He gave Gale and Stormy the V for victory sign, then nodded encouragingly at a few Suns, probably missing out on the whole there were quite a few misbehaving Sun Hunters in the room implication. The Sun Lead curiously went for the stack of cards only to get his hand batted back by the protective Moon Hunter currently arranging the cards into stacks of five. He sat back down and looked sheepish.
The Death lead ignored everyone and that included Stormy as he pulled out a folder from God Knows Where and began to read through the contents (the title read: Training Report 11/01-14 / 18/01-14).
Mark meanwhile, was trying very hard not to breathe and get noticed, recalculating his escape plans. He might have given Taym a very sad hobo-bonding look from under the table.

America busied herself by flipping to Taym's page as he went on. - Likes to use his words but can't get to the dang point. Hot Angry Teacher's voice soon had her sitting up at attention and admiring his majestic figure as he stalked through the room, majestic as a jungle cat surrounded by perpetual circus. She sighed a bit, craned her neck to get a look at his a**, and did her best to ignore Allan. Man was always picking fights with her and she wanted to ignore that particular situation just in case there was an Anger Management seminar in the near future. Taym's much more reasonable conclusion had her attention zeroing brightly back on his, grin white and wide. "Last time he," she nodded toward Caelius, "...and I were in the same room, he suprise! Dumped a bunch of us in the desert. With bugs and then more bugs and then giant bugs. When it comes to surprises, I don't think we're in for many good ones, or at least ones that won't actively try to eat me."

"I brought a notebook, so I can get notes if it's important," Noah said, holding up the item in question. "I guess someone must think it's important, anyway." He wasn't suspicious of the seminar; so far, he'd managed to escape anything going disastrously south.

Dakota also scooted closer to Ceres because like mind moons and they were brother/sister for a reason.
Their glares were sent to Caelius together...and then gone.
"You think someone complained about his sensitivity during missions?" For some reason, the idea made Dakota chuckle.

Nevada on the other hand, wasn't much bothered by Caelius's joining their little merry band. It would only make sense that Otto and Gale in the same area some how summoned the big death lead.
When Otto returned, she smiled over at him, patting his leg and resting back in her chair.
"I didn't know you and Peyton knew each other...?" She asked curiously.

Harrison considered Rep's response gravely, then nodded.
If Rep had only been joking, the bitterness with which Harrison would have withdrawn would have been absolute, like a clam shutting itself in its shell with finality.
As it was, he only said, "Okay," then cautiously resumed loading his plate. He would have said more, but he had noticed two of the division leads in the room, and had defaulted to just being nervous. He took one of the weird pink sticks Allan had put on the table. He bit into one, then, surprised, got another few for Rep.
"You oughta try these," he hedged, offering them, "They're some kinda frosted cookie."

"She's my cousin." He replied quietly, fidgeting with the hem of his shirt now that he didn't have a sandwich to hide behind.

Nevada raised an eyebrow and then smiled. "You have family on the island...that makes me feel better..." She reached over and pinched his hand. "Stop that you, you're making me fidgety too...." She wasn't really, in fact she was very relaxed with a lazy smile placed on her face.
She was even slouched in the chair.
"Did you learn this from the records or....the alternate world thing?" She made conversation with him, hoping it would distract him from his inner thoughts. "I learned I would've still had two eyes...and was dating Solomon happily."

Rep had been watching Harrison intently for his response with panic fluttering in his stomach the entire time, just waiting for what he had to offer to be inadequate somehow or insulting. When he nodded instead, some of the panic ebbed away. His closing comment still left him worrying that it might have fallen short. But for the life of him he had no way to check or be sure.
When Harrison glanced over at the division leads, so too did Rep, smiling faintly at both Allan and Cael, he thought both of them were straightforward in their own way, Allan clear and good, one of his favourite people and Cael harmless so long as you gave him no reason at all to throw you into the meat grinder.
He took the proferred snacks and munched one eagerly. "Mmmm, these are ******** good man." He looked across the room again and asked with amusement. "Think Caelius is getting sensitivity training too?"

"Both.." Otto murmured, slowly coaxed from his withdrawl. One thing had led to another, and he found out he had family. He was still on the fence on how he felt about it.
He stopped fidgeting for now, resting his hands inside his pockets. "You do fine with just the one." He didn't want Nevada to dwell on something she couldn't change. "Have you talked to him since then?" Somehow words were not held behind walls and bars with Nevada, having known her a great deal longer.
