Milla shrugged as she grabbed a vase and looked at i before throwing it behind her back "no idea...i was thinking something like an orb..or a device..maybe even just a simple phone that the humans have in their world" she said still looking through things moving them around "if you find something let me know..im going in deep into this rooms past...over there...in the very back that is" she said smirking as she started to move her way past boxes and other objects to get to the back

Milla turned around almost falling over to do so, she squinted to loo at it "ooo...thats a movie player...haven't you seen that outside of the tree i hear they are very very common and well liked due to people being able to watch things like movies...which we dont have soo when i got one i kept it in here" she told him before looking down and grabbing a small ball, throwing it up and down "man this brings back some fun memories with the lower council" she said smiling "none of them could hit this ball" she laughed(baseball)

"What's a movie Elder?"
The boy spent most of his life either in his hometown or at the tree. The brief visits he had to the human world he did it on the open fields. So, knowing much about technology was out of the question since his tribe was more archaic, focusing mainly on martial arts.
"A ball, you used to play ball at the lower council?"
The boy had just brief encounters with this sport, yet the idea of the lower council playing it was amusing. Soon he inspected another artifact. A sewing machine.
"Oh, what's this for?"
He asked puzzled, being far away from the kitsune tree or the human world, one would say his society was very primitive.

Milla just gave him a blank look "your kidding right...i figured you would have stumbled upon it..o well..its just a visual source of entertainment" she said to him "ehh..not at..with..they played the game of baseball with me..they didnt like it...it was probably because my team kept winning" she laughed "but many good times....i wonder why i even put it in here" she wondered before hearing him ask about something else "i believe thats the humans version of a sewing machine...we sort of took our clothing maker from them..and style..but it never stuck..ours should be in here as well..i mean nothing beats hand made from skillful weavers" she said to him "

"Well I find it hard to believe you played this baseball here. No offense Elder, but not everyone in the council is as fun as you."
He replied, amazed there was this sort of celebrations without him knowing. Yet he had to agree on her comment.
"Indeed, nothing beats out weavers. I remember the Autum festival where the theme was around leaves and not just orange colors. It was amazing. My Yukata was really cozzy. I couldn't believe they could create something as comfortable to wear. Your kimono was lovely too. You even were nominated as the most beautifully dressed in the tree."
Volpeo replied with a grin, he always enjoyed festivals, specially the food as he often was seen digging into treats and snacks back then.

Milla smiled "it may be hard to believe...but i can be quite convincing if i wanted to be...its as easy as telling them 'lets play...or ill bore you to death with my life's journey 7 times over'" she laughed as he spoke of yukatas and kimonos "o yea...well i still believe people were trying to make it seem like i was the favorite" she said smiling "i even wore my mask during that and i was in the top...wonder if i would have won the entire thing if i took the mask off" she said remembering it "to be honest...we havent had a festival in years...ever since many children have left or just disappeared outside the tree's leaves...this includes one of our brightest guards...i still remember she had hair like mine and everyone thought she was my kid" she said laughing "then there was a few others who simply left due to wanting to see the world..it all started after one of the head Kitsunes left over 20 years ago" she sighed "but just recently we stopped having them...since they were meant to symbolize completeness and fullness...and trust among all" she said shrugging

"Yeah It was a huge scandal, all of them were eager to know who the father was. Not to mention the many proposals you got after thar... calling it sincere apology"
Volpeo chuckled, no mortal could marry a goddess, so even to this day he still think of their ideas as silly.
"That's too bad, festivals were my favorite events at the tree. Everything was so joyful. Also the little moments of peace we had during wars. What happened now? why have you stopped trusting each other? or why you you feel empty, incomplete. What happened to this tree's children?"
He asked puzzled, picking another artifact, this was actually curious as a rubric cube, watching it twist so easily and in many angles (permitted by the cube) made Volpeo's ears twitch in curiosity.

Milla sighed "yea..there was soo many..i even figured it was every male that was old enough to marry plus some of the younger ones" she said thinking on it "well...its not that we dont have trust its just..every time something happens outside...one of us gets involved and soon never return...the leader went out and helped push back one of the human's forces to their world and got stuck...but later decided to stay there because she found love...then the guard...she helped defend against demons and was a great warrior but we heard about her being ambushed and disappeared..i have yet to hear anything about her ever since but i do believe she is alive somewhere" she explained "to the reason why..i believe its because the council..even with my imput believed that the children were being led astray by forces we do not consider or see...and because of that many children started to drift away from the tree..never returning...this happened in the other times ive watched this world...it is not something that i believe can be continued...rather i believe that we will begin a new festiva eventually..one symbolizing new beginning" she said as she continued to rummage through stuff

Milla would then start to explain the reasons behind the last festivals being suspended.
" Well, I suppose we've lately desired some independence, or ot explore. You should blame our education for being too excited about the so called wonders of the world away from the tree. Actually I consider it even more dangerous. hopefully we could find our mountain. But then, after building our temporal shelter we ended up liking it there and staying to found our own village. It is a shame you could not assist to our festivals. "
He added as he remembered the former leather.
" Yeah, back then I didn't knew what was going on. But now, I suppose I've faced a rather similar fate at being exiled from home trying to protect those I love.
But back then I had no clue why would the elders started disappearing. Actually I was really afraid you might disappear any time soon. Fortunately that never happened. "
Nodded the Kitsune while hearing there might be a new festival in the tree.

Milla smiled "yea...it was more embaressing for me..because i had to keep saying no..im a one person woman afterall" she said chuckling but...i can agree with you on the education...based on all events we show that despite us being a demon race many demons dont think highly of us..and almost all humans see us as monsters and chase us off...and none of us would go and find out due to fear" she explained "the new festival happened last few times but i dont know what exactly caused it...something outside of where i can see...but i can pray it happens"

Hearing there would be a new festival sure made him happy tho.
" Well let's just hope it starts a new tradition and that the tree would welcome more and more kids. Hopefully those that are willing to stay, or at least return. Perhaps we should start developing more effective comunication devices and portals, so that, no matter how far we are from home, we can still be there if needed. Or contact them so they know not to worry. "
He thought, perhaps his situation was needed in order for them to discover such way.

Milla tapped her head "actually i was constantly hiding but they always found me..it baffled me how" she said laughing some more before getting more serious as she looked "Well...the council members all agreed that communication towards the outside world is forbidden...unless the council sees fit to do it themselves with permission by the rest of the council" she told him "thats why any communication device that we would have would be in here" she explained "as for the portals...the council also said no since the last time we opened portals humans attacked us..leading to one of the leaders disappearing" she told him "and they dont want anymore incidents like that, despite even i know it was really their fault for closing the portal while she was on the other side"

Nebbia d Argento i believe she said it was kitsune of death/life/element/and something else...she ust explained that the four kitsunes were the ancestors for all kitsunes and all the familys broadened outward and such..every kitsune is from a specific ancestor NPC

Milla sighed "yea..but no one can even bring it up not even me..because they always will say 'its treason to suspect the council of betraying our own' even when its not about betraying" she sighed "but really its just something minor...she was happy when we contacted her again...and should still be living in the human world...that is if the humans finally accepted her" she mentioned. "in a way it can be seen as that because one mistake and that portal can go anywhere" she said "i dont exactly make the rules anymore as i did in the past before you generation" she explained "but...you cant just look upon the bad that one does..even if the bad outweighs the good...they have done good things for us and i still trust their judgement even if i dont agree with them"
