Jove once hated reapers. Then he had gone to school, and even learned to like a couple. This creature that had just stabbed at him from behind was threatening to rekindle that hate. He startled and immediately used his FEAR attack, but by then the mascot was already out of range of his stifling spore cloud.

The pup gritted his teeth, struggling to hit the mascot with his claws. It was too fast, and kept striking and moving. Why did he even agree to this house cup thing anyway?
He lashed out and dealt a minor blow, yet it was still a triumph for the little ghost.

This was a sad show for any of Jove's friends... Especially those who had been beaten by him in the gym. But he was starting to anticipate the creature's movements, and although he couldn't avoid all it's attacks he was able to score another hit for himself.

Jove lashed out again, he was slowly whittling down his opponent, but not fast enough! His points were practically flying away at this rate. He needed to get in a good hit, but he just couldn't land a solid blow.

Finally! Jove was able to strike the creature head on, knocking it backwards. This was the sort of attack he should have been able to start with, he was a third year student after all! He needed to remember how to fight like one!

Just as he was starting to get confident, a wayward stone on the hard-packed ground under his feet tripped him up. His ghostly claws went right past the opponent, barely catching the mascot's cloak.

" HELL YEAH DANNY! WWWOOOOOOO!!" The fire demon may have been, well, a fire demon, and she was competing against her but.... dam. Dayymmm. That was a one hit wonder, how could Poke NOT congratulate the epicness of that attack?

Mathias had a look around at the various opponents running, slithering, or floating around. The chimera...well, to him that was the one to prove his strength against, knowing that it would be a tough opponent to beat.
He didn't hesitate, and with a flare of Fear his limbs were a blur of movement, as he jumped around the monster and swiftly jabbed at it with his black claws.

Mathias soon found himself overpowered by the beast, and was forced to take a few leaps backwards in an attempt to fend it off, his upper lip curling back from fangs as he hissed at it.
