Castille smiled and took the offered hand. "Hi there! II'm Castille. Hoping that this gets a little less creepy and a lot more like a party!" She giggled at the silly notion. When she noticed the other person who had drawn the mess hall, she grinned.
"Hey I remember you! You were the elf at DestinyCon!" The event had been quite the experience. Not only had she been to her first convention, she also had taken part int he battle when the whole thing turned out to be a giant Negaverse plot. Just like Larkspur. She shivered, hoping neither of them had noticed. "It's nice to see you made it out of that alright." So these were her teammates...sortof. These were the people she was exploring with until they were allowed to go somewhere else.
Then the loudspeaker crackled, and Hayden's voice floated eerily over the camp. She listened intently, and gasped when he went quiet, accompanied with a growl. The blinking on her bracelet increased with her heartbeat.
"What happened to him?" she said, gloves covering her mouth and muffling her words. "Maybe he was attacked by a bear!"

Zone 6 - The Mess Hall: Quiet, Slow HP: 10 Equipment: Flashlight (+1 against monsters): Currently: Off Posts remaining for flashlight: 2
Castille was beginning to feel anxious. She looked around the mess hall, and saw some shape lying on the group in a corner. Keeping her ear open for responses from the other people, she inched her way over to the blob. It turned out be a flashlight. Her heart jumped. A flashlight! Thank goodness!
"Look what I found!" she said, running back to Margarita and Marlin. "A flashlight!"

Zone 1: Gwendolyn + Strong / - Reckless / HP: 10
Gwen paused in her march when she heard what sounded like a cry for help, and her initial instinct was to seek out the source and come to the rescue. And yet, what stopped her was the others that traveled with her, and while one knew of her identity, she couldn't be sure about the other one. She looked towards Orah and Lexi, hoping that her caution wouldn't be mistaken for fear.
"Heard that? Sounds like someone's in trouble..." Gwen said, stepping back and looking around where the cries came from. It could have been someone in trouble, or, it could have been a trap. Given the circumstances they were in, both were likely. "Sounds legit to me. What do you two say? Should we investigate or move on?"
There was also the option to split up, which Gwen was willing to take. If someone WAS in trouble, then she was certain she could handle it. "I can go check it out, that way we're not risking ALL of us getting taken out, too."

Scott was certain that had he seen the Rec room during in the daytime or in its hayday, he would have liked to explore the area in thorough detail. It held some interest for him and he wondered what kind of sports used to be played in here. Now would have been a great time to go wondering around, sniffing for clues, but Scott wasn't willing to venture out on his own to do that.
He looked back at his team, which consisted of Fleur and Mei, and it was hard to focus on how completely awkward he felt, and his bracelet was flashing a little quicker than it should, though not because he was scared. Simply... nervous, like he always was with girls.
"Hm, so... any of you see something out of the ordinary here? Maybe a clue? Nothing that looks like a trap... or a weapon... or a guy in a hockey mask and machete?"
Now he regretted ever watching so many horror flicks, because this place was basically begged for something to run out and attack them. But perhaps this would be more like Scooby Doo... nothing but smoke and mirrors, and maybe someone in a monster suit. All these needed was a dog...

Zone 6: The Mess Hall Fast; Reckless Current HP: 10
Margarita happily supplied Marlin with her name when prompted to do so.
Not being one to take the fun out of a situation by analyzing it too much, she decided what the most fun route to take would be: go with the flow and let the event scare her out of her mind. After hearing the responses from other members of Team Mess Hall, Margarita responded, "It could be a bear....or something worse! It's Halloween! Scary things come out on Halloween!"
After Castille found the flashlight, Margarita jumped and clapped.
"A flashlight! Oh boy! I'm sticking next to you!"

ZONE 7 +Quick / - Weak / HP: 10
Having neither grown up in Destiny City nor was she raised here, Mei hadn't a clue what had supposedly happened at this camp. However, what she did know was that she didn't like being here. Not only was she was in the middle of no where, but she knew absolutely nobody here, and not a single person outside this group of people knew where she was. What could possibly go wrong?
She should have left when given the chance, so why didn't she? Simple... she couldn't. That choking lump in her throat prevented her from speaking while her body moved of it's own accord allowing the person to put the tracker on her wrist. Plus if she did leave what would that make her? A coward? A deserter? Either way, deep down in the recesses of her mind she knew that if all hell broke loose she could always power up.
The hypnotizing blinking red light flashed in almost unison with each pained heart beat that echoed in her pink tinted ears. It's getting colder out, naturally I didn't bring a jacket. The sound that echoed over the speaker at the end of the countdown brought Mei's fear to the next level... Terror. What the hell? Her hand instinctually rose to her chest, her heart feeling like someone was using it as a stress ball, this is so not cool she thought while trying to calm herself down. Panic attacks, not something she's use to, but given the environment they were in who would blame her?
Not wanting to stand around alone Mei gathered her skirt and tore off at a sprint in the direction of the rec room to catch up with the rest of her group. THe fear she felt before made her legs go weak causing her to stumble a few times as she sought to catch up to the other two people in her party."Sorry" she said, slightly out of breath. Once she had her breathing under control she joined the others in looking around the area. Chalk it up to a childhood fear, or something of that nature, but whenever Mei walked into a room the first thing she naturally did was look up, look at the ceiling, the corners, any beams or exposed ventilations systems
Mei's attention snapped from scanning the ceiling to the boy, Scott, that stood a few feet away from he. The on slot of images he brought by inquiring if they'd seen a weapon or a guy in a hockey mask brought with a nearly undeniable urge to walk over and whap him upside the head for trying to scare her and the girl in the Indian outfit. Instead she gave him a momentary pointed glare that she was pretty sure given the lack of light he most likely couldn't see, and replied "No nothing yet, though if you find a weapon, so long as there isn't a hand already attached to it, I'd suggest picking it up. This place gives me the creeps". She rubbed her hands up and down her arms to warm herself up a bit, so cold she thought with a shiver.
Taking her own advice Mei untied her belt-tail from her outfit, gathered the tail itself in her hand and let the buckle portion hang next to her before removing her plastic unicorn headdress thing. Plastic or not the thing had a point to it and if someone was here, they sure as hell better think before jumping out and scaring the bajezus out of them.

Zone 6
A bear was as good a reason as any, but Marlin wasn't sure he liked the idea of them being stuck out in the woods with potentially something like a bear or even worse running around.
He grinned when Castille showed them the flashlight that she'd discovered, "Well that certainly might come in handy" he said as he decided not to think too hard on the mysterious noise he'd heard - at least not for now - although he made a note to himself that it might be best for them to all stick together just in case.
He looked from Castille to Margarita as he added "So do you think that some of those clues that Hayden Pembrose mentioned might be around here?"
It was luck that had Scott thinking of brutal Halloween movies and monsters that performed gruesome acts of savagery. Luck, though the bad kind. The hulking thing was hidden in the shadows for now, watching the trio at the old Rec Room very closely. There was a club in his hand an a devilish glint in his eyes.
It started with heavy breathing, that ominous but harmless sound. It let them know he was there but out of sight for now.
Then, suddenly, the giant hulking thing made its move, raising its club with a growl and bursting into the room aiming straight for Scott.
(This attack counts for Mei, Fleur, and Scott)

Zone oo5 Stables HP 10 + Clever / - Weak
Ruthie liked ponies. Ponies and unicorns brought her back to the fourth grade when Suzy Carmichael posted glittery white and rainbow horses to her lunchbox, and Ruthie begged Suzy to share, but Suzy never did. She hoped she would maybe find some ponies at the stables, or at least, something to ride around in the woods. Wouldn't that be fun? She could torment her competitors with ghostly whinnies and she could zip past monsters to the grand mysterious super amazing prize.
Hopefully someone would arrive in her zone soon, though. She hated being outside at night by herself. Granted, she patrolled often in dangerous areas of town, alone, at the Negaverse's mercy, but still.
Honestly, the idea of being alone frightened the stuffing out of Orah and she wanted nothing more than to cling to Tsui until they were safely out of these creepy woods. It was hard, though, when there might be someone out there who needed help.
"Maybe one of the other guests got hurt stumbling around in the dark... we should definitely go investigate it. I... would kinda rather stay together." She said as she clasped her hands together, shuffling a foot nervously. "We should find Arian, but we can't really ignore that voice either. I think maybe we should stick together, at least until we find out what's going on."
Whatever happened, she'd rather have friends with her than face it alone in the dark.
The darkness and the fog seemed to confuse the sound and as the guests made their way into the woods, it seemed to change direction slightly. No matter how far they went or what direction they faced, it always tantalized just out of sight... just past those trees, just over that hill... and whenever they thought of turning back or slowed down, the voice would call again, plaintive and pitiful, real fear in their voice.
It wasn't until they were surrounded by the trees and the darkness did something change... the voice stopped and everything was silent. It was like the world was holding its breath, scared and braced for something to happen.
Suddenly, out of the shadows came a spine-chilling cackle, a sound nearly everyone on the planet knew. It touched the primal part of anyone who heard it, speaking of the most dangerous part of Africa and the hunters who struck in the night whilst their laughter filled the air. From the bush charged a lumbering beast with glowing yellow eyes, its humped back giving it a weird, shuffling gate. It charged the two girls with another ear splitting laugh, its teeth a flash of ivory in the darkness. The smell of rotting meat and corpses filled the air, making it hard to breath as the beast bared down on them...
And then it swerved and was gone into the woods again, its laughter following it and only the lingering smell of death left in its wake.

Only Chibi's roll counts, but Orah will loose a life too as the two are in a 'team' during the attack. I'm leaving Lexi out as she hasn't posted as joining you two yet.
It favored the boathouse. There were so many places where its talents came in useful. It focused on Arian and did what it did best. First it caused a shadow to move at the corner of his eye, a thing that disappeared when he turned to look what it was but trying to lure his gaze to the dark water by the dock. The shadow of a person reflected in the water from underneath, a drowned body reaching for the boy, pleading for help it was too late to receive.
Bubbles surfaced from underneath, a silent scream as the body was dragged back down into the depths by monstrous hands.

Zone 2
It might have helped if Arian had managed to get the names of the two that had also got Zone 2, he might have been able to call
out to them that way, but he hadn't which meant the only way for it was to look around and see if he could come across them
somehow.
His zone covered both the boathouse and the dock which meant that the other two could potentially be in either place. Frowning
as a shadow flickered at the corner of his eye, Arian turned to look only to find nothing there. Although he thought that it might have come from the direction of where the dock lay, a dark shape on even darker water.
Biting his lip - he so really didn't want to go there - Arian reluctantly walked from his current position towards the dock "Hey is anyone there?" It was probably a shame that he didn't watch horror movies with any fan probably being able to tell him that those tended to be final last words. Instead a flicker drew his attention to the water, eyes blinking startled as he looked away and then looked again. Crap was that a body?
The attack came without warning, Arian becoming aware right at the last minute as he managed to scramble back and away from the thing.
"Oh, a weapon... that's a good idea! I'll see what they have," said Scott, taking in Mei's advice and looking around for anything that they could have used. He kept talking, more of a way to keep himself alert and stop his bracelet from flashing a million miles per hour. "They might have a crocket mallet or a hockey stick lying around here somewhere."
It was then that the hulking assailant came charging out of the shadows, and Scott had no qualms when it came to expressing his emotions in front of the two ladies that were teamed up with him. He gave a scream, one both high pitched and filled to the brim with terror, and he took advantage of his favorite gym class activity and sought to dodge the incoming attack. He scrambled to his feet and ran in a zig-zag moment, hoping to avoid that fierce looking club and maybe confuse it.
"AHHH, no no no no! I don't like being right! I'm never suppose to be right!" He yelped, keeping an eye out for a weapon and calling out to Mei and Fleur. "Run! Save yourselves!"
