"So wait wait.." Bix was chewing on some fruit thing that was chewy as hell and his words were almost garbled. He chewed a few more times, swallowed, and fixed his hair.

"Anybody have propositions? For the group? For Allan? Plans or drills or requests?" They'd gotten sidetracked with egos and candy and lost the point of everything.

Allan had been going along picking up all the Hi-chew gummy candies (strawberry flavour only) from the pinata he had exploded. He hadn't noticed there was a hole in one of his coat pockets so there was a nice tidy trail of Hi-chew strawberry gummy candies in the wake of his presence.

"Training exercises!" And suddenly the Sun lead was wedged next to Bix and Peyton. "I agree with these! Newer shinigami need to strengthen their reiryoku and they can only do this by battling! A Sun Hunter is not a Sun Hunter without their blade, without their strength through practice and determination!"

For some reason he had summoned his weapon. "Bix-kun! Draw your weapon! Let us demonstrate the power of SPIRIT!"

I don't know Allan just does what he wants..

"YES ALLAN-TAICHOU!" Bix snapped to attention, yelling like the obedient little soldier he was. The hunter hopped back a step and summoned Mina in all her shining gold glory. The red gems seemed to pulse eagerly in the bow and he flicked the white feathered talisman away from his fingers as he readied for whatever Allan had planned.

"A Sun Hunter is a true Hunter not because of how powerful they are - " wait didn't, Allan say that earlier - "but because of who they are inside. We are warriors and we fight to protect! Now Bix-kun, show me the glory of your resolve!"

He pointed his sword at the dummy, and nodded encouragingly.

Go ahead and roll attack dice! High attack = more dummy damage, low attack = less

It was a demonstration so Bix didn't feel the need to go too nuts on the dummy. He bounced on his feet a moment before loosing a quick succession of arrows into the dummy. The red energy pinions stuck all through the target's torso before each popped and disappeared, leaving scorched patches in their wake.

"Excellent form!" Allan clapped encouragingly, sticking his weapon into the grass for now, as it propped itself Buster Sword style. "Does anyone else want to give it a try? Give it your absolute best! Don't be shy, we are all Sun Hunters here."

Simon took the liberty to change the background soundtrack to something inspirational, like the opening theme song of Pokemon.

PRACTICE SESSION: TARGET PRACTICE

Anyone can shoot at the target dummy with their attack dice! The higher the roll, the more damage you do! Feel free to show off your attack skills!

Bix gave Allan a thumbs up..... and then the music started.

So as he walked back and de-summoned his weapon, he started singing, "I wanna be the very besssst like noooo oooone ever waaaas..."

Whoever walked up next would get this pointing at them.

Rep was more than happy to give the training dummy a swing, summoning Tracey with a lazy flourish.

The pokemon theme song was both inspirational and distracting.

He found himself maybe humming along. Maybe.

Well this was more like it! While not entirely making up for the feelings and premature pinata busting, America felt this was definitely the right way to run a meeting. Stryker gave a pleased yee-haw at being summoned, then immediately began to critique her pose.

Turn your body a little more, so you're backlit by the sun!

It went about as well as could be expected.

You need to come up with a cool one-liner, ghoul. That'll improve your battle skill 110%.

With a frown she considered all the nonsense their leader had yelled before attacking the pinata. Seemed legit. Waving her hand, she tried to get Allan's attention.

"Sir, what sort of things should we be saying before attacking?"

Chel had now taken to lying in the grass and imagining what the clouds were shaped like. When the loud crash of Bix's (and then everyone else's) attack sounded in the clearing, she didn't do much except turn to look. Everyone had quite the impressive attacks.

On the other hand, Chel was still feeling a sharp malaise in the pit of her stomach. So she shot an arrow, but it was lazy and hasty. Unfitting of the bravado she'd been displaying before.

Wow, all these types of weapons. Milo's eyes were wide with awe when he say the variety, along with the the sheer size of Rep's. It was so damn cool. And that feisty girl - America? - seemed to be doing poses, be still his heart really. (And now wondering himself if battle cries were allowed, a few could come to mind).

So, the lanky nineteen year old hopped to his feet and trotted to join the others in attacking the training dummies. His hand flicked to the side as his naginata appeared within his palm. < Please don't do what that ghoul did, its so embarrassing...> The tengu groaned as he spun the weapon in an elegant figure eight.

No guarantees, he grinned took a few steps, spun on his heels and then swung the blade end down. Not the best hit ever, missed its mark a little, but he thought he did alright.

Jerry had not been feeling his best, he admitted it. Ever since that trip to Scotland, he had been feeling just marginally under the weather- it was hardly noticeable until he had been in battle, or a spar really. But blasting a training dummy? That was something he could do.

Stretching his shoulders, he watched the others have at it, lips pursed before summoning his own onto his shoulder in a burst of green. He aimed the bazooka. He fired. Roar was happy to take care of the rest.

The dummy was smoking slightly and missing it's head and shoulders when the ringing died down in his ears.

"How come you couldn't hit that hard during the tournament?" he muttered quietly to his weapon.

Roar grunted in response.

Chel gave Milo the elbow. "Likin' the long stick bro," she jeered, giving him a smile. Seriously though, she was jealous. Chel was anything but a ranged fighter, and she'd been given the rangiest of all weapons. She'd learn to make it work, but she didn't like it.

< I take offense to that. >

And I don't care.

She looked around to make sure everyone was more preoccupied with their training. Seeing as they were somewhat more disguised, Chel whispered, "So after the tourney a few of us trainees are going out for ice cream. I found a sweet portal battery thing on beach. Some lifer told me to give it to the greater good, buuut I think we more than deserve a little trip elsewhere." Were her reasons good? No. Was she going to do it anyways? Oh hell yeah. "Ice cream is ice cream, right?"
