"Someone as careless as you would be a waste of his potential." The whip struck across the room, striking hunters with a biting crack! Even in the flurry of attacks, though, H's extremely steady hands managed to keep the whip from hitting Otto.

Shiloh was pretty okay with being worthless as he latched onto Otto again, and tried to sneakily inch him towards the door.

Caelius took a few steps backwards from impact. "You mean observation. He clearly needs to be sealed so that-"

At this point Marie hooked and anchored his scythe, which provided both an unfortunate window of time and also a convenient joke about how flexibility won through effort, or intelligence, or whatnot, though it was hard to imagine what intelligence had to do with objects of affection, one couldn't exactly math a person into be-

- It was a good reminder at this point to mention that Caelius really wanted Otto as part of his artifact collection. First of all, well, Otto was in his division, and second, by all means of logic, if H wanted something, it meant the Death lead would do everything in his power to make sure the doctor did not get it. Fortunately both motivations overlapped for just a second enough as in a flashy show of flashiness - though not Allan tier flashy, just beautifully flashy - he dropped his own scythe weapon in favour of grabbing the closest trainee - Shiloh - and throwing him right into H. Using that window of opportunity, the Death lead yanked hard against the handle of his weapon, attempting to force H head first into the tip of a particularly pointed scythe.

When it came to fighting for love and artifacts, all was fair. After if and when Caelius won, he would be sure to put Otto into a sealed glass container in a particularly sealed section of one of the many basement corridors far, far underneath Deus where nobody else would ever find the short blonde and Not Gale Death Hunter.

Maybe he should just accept his fate. Maybe he should feel flattered, or dare he say, devilishly attractive. Maybe he should feel these things, instead of an increasing feeling of fear and revulsion.

Or maybe he should feel the need to run far, now that the one called Shiloh had been tossed into the fray. Well, he wasn't being kidnapped anymore, but things would likely get worse before they got better.

The very mention of Caelius wanting Otto to be 'contained' anywhere sent shivers down his spine as he tried to crawl to safety.

The Death lead quickly moved out of the radius of the growing line of spikes, and in some situations throwing trainees - this time it was Al and Wilson - literally beneath him to cushion the attack as he moved upwards. Standing for a second on a pile of upturned Hunters and tables he considered his options, before pulling out a spare barrier dagger to throw right at Otto with rather precise aim, the weapon impaling Otto's his jacket hood to fasten him to the ground.

Satisfied that the Not Gale Death Hunter had been secured, he swept downwards, shifting Circe into a semi-defensive position as she tore into cafeteria tile and dirt, creating three arcs of bright and rather flashy blue that hurtled different directions. Anyone who touched them would feel a strange sort of numbness before they lost control of their limbs.

Al followed after Otto, "C-c'mon man, take my hand."

He took chase with his hand extended and attempting to take Otto's. "I'm gonna help you man. Death bros, okay?" Yeah, no, better run Otto.
