"I like Eat, Drink, and Be Scary, too!" Canon chimed in, having picked up the gist of the meeting from listening to conversation. The Skark ghoul was glad that one of the House colors would be red. She was still under the impression that it meant they'd be painting the Dorms in those colors, though.

Once again making her voice heard on the matter, Sulmanon piped up, "I still think "Eat, Drink, and be Scary" is the better one out of those two!"

Muka giggled and chomped his teeth loudly. "Eat, Drink, and Be Scary!"

Tsukiko frowned. Was the leader looking at her? She'd been here from almost the very beginning. With a sigh, she shook her head. It seemed she was able to be "invisible" exceptionally well this time. Oh well. It mattered not. She didn't give a Jack anymore. At least the mascot would look cool.
The rebellious side of her wanted to scream out "Dangerous, Fierce, and Sexy". Hecate, wasn't that what she said near the beginning when she put in her color suggestions..? It seemed her desire to go unnoticed backfired on her. "Do whatever. I'm just along for the ride." Tsukiko whispered, fingering the skull pin and longing to revert to her natural form. She'd have to wait until the meeting was over and she was (safely!) in her room, however...

With the choice in colors made.
-and the stare that Alex gave him as he grabbed at his chest.
There was no more need for the jackets swatches, Damien pulling them off in neat little lines from his coat. It was a waterfalls of colors that came free and pooled around his booths in a collage of hues. "I have to agree with the choice in "Eat Drink, and be Scary!", I think it sums us up very nicely." he said with a light yelp, one of the pins that fastened the swatches on poking his thumb with a vengeance.
"I still like the idea of Keep calm and let your beast out, but that's just me."

"They were really good." Tanita moved quietly towards the other girl, not trying to be too close, just gravitating towards some one who reacted in a friendly and kind way, as she still felt very out of place here and now. "Do you cook a lot...?" When the color decision was announced, she made a slight face. Ok, yes, gold was EXCELLENT and went well with red, and her own red coloring, but she couldn't help but feel something was off about it. At least the Chimera went over, since it fit them all so well! She listened to the discussion and wriggled her nose. Well, she'd voted already on what she thought sounded best and wasn't going to speak up on it unless it really seemed necessary. "Well let's see how this goes..."

While red and gold were better than red and black she still wasn't entirely thrilled with the color choices herself (at least partially because she would look horrible wearing them), but majority seemed to have the vote on that one and she wasn't going to cause a ruckus herself. Had they somehow wound up with the same colors as one of the other dorms now, maybe... Not having an opinion on a motto, beyond her own personal ones, Aldara turned her attention back to the other ghoul who was addressing her again. "Oh, um... Me? Cook? Not... Not a whole lot outside of Home Ick, no." She laughed. "I mean I can, but the dorms aren't really set up for it. My room isn't, at least. And I don't think the gnomes would take kindly to me invading the cafeteria kitchen... They're weird enough as is." Her nose wrinkled.

Tanita looked blankly at the other ghoul. "Are they...? I haven't... really had much to do with them yet, so I guess I just... assumed they were there and not something to be concerned over." Her brow furrowed some as she pondered this. "Weird how?" Her head tilted, as she tried to work this out. Well maybe once she'd met one, she'd get it. "Is Home Ick fun? I'm still figuring out what classes I need, what would be best to take... Oh! I'm Tanita by the way."

"Aldara." She flashed the other ghoul a smile, holding a hand out to her. That sort of thing was polite and the sort of thing that one generally did, right? "I mean, they're probably not all bad, but the ones from prom... Some of them were nice, others were crazy and some were just plain mean. So I guess, when it boils down, they're just like anyone else." It was just her preference to avoid them, if at all possible. "I'm still waiting for the results of the assessment test I took to see if that helps any with deciding with the rest of my classes. Home Ick isn't bad, though."

"Glad to meet you, Aldara..." She gave the other a shy smile. "I barely got here, and got a note about this meeting. I felt a bit overwhelmed, you know? Don't know anyone, haven't attended any classes, and I'm supposed to come to a meeting and help make Dorm decisions. Almost felt like an impostor, silly as that might sound..." She listened and nodded at Aldara's words, her fingers sliding up to pull her crestlike hair away from her face as she pondered. "Well I think... I'll mostly avoid them I guess? If I get the choice. It sounds easier." She blinked some. "Ohhh assessment test? How does one go about getting one of those...?" She felt dumb, like she must have missed something obvious. Or had she?

"Best advice I have for you?" The harpy ghoul's brow lofted, line of her jaw set as she continued speaking. "Don't let it overwhelm you. Don't let it intimidate you and don't let anyone tell you what you should or shouldn't be. Be who you are here." She brought her hand up, tapping her own chest while sounding rather deep. "I spent a while feeling like that; like I didn't belong here and I was just an outsider... I missed out on a lot and I even ran away. But here I am." Her shoulders shrugged, quirk of a smile twitching her lips again. "The assessment was at least a month ago, maybe longer now. A few other things happened in between now and then, so it's possible they forgot. They might do another one, though? Who knows with this place."

Tanita blinked at the Harpy's advice, then straightened up, and smiled some. "Be myself, stand tall... Right. Right. I don't have to be afraid. I may be new but I earned my right to be here as much as anyone. Right." She blinked, blushed a little at the realization she'd said right several times over, but then shrugged it off. "That... Is really good advice. Thank you. I will keep it in mind!" She nodded, looking a little disappointed but understanding. "I see, so the assessment isn't exactly something they do for every student. Pity! Here I was hoping they had them regularly, so we'd all have a chance to see where our best skills are and focus on them... or to see what we needed to work harder on! Oh well!"
