Lyra had come to the arena early, not because she was a diligent teacher, but because she needed to get her--em--guests situated. "Alright Astrid, let them out," She smiled from the security of the stands. All at once the creepy crawlies scurried out, only to find themselves trapped within the arena. Lyra snickered and laughed, recalling her fire type into its pokemoball. "Okay Globber, you're up next. I need you to make 'em mad. Really mad!" She said with enthusiasm. "Seed bomb." The eggxecutor spun round, sending off bomb after bomb to frighten and enrage the wild pokemon into using their string shot attacks, making themselves a silky home of thick web. "That's perfect," Lyra laughed.
Yukira arrived at where her class was meant to be, her stomock leting out a low growl. She walked slowly into the stands. Like normal she had no idea where she was suppose to be. The field was covered with webs though and part of Yukria shivered as she looked at it. she slowly surveyed the area and saw only one other person, was the teacher or was it a student Yukira herself didn't know. "H..Hi.." she said hesitantly. Yukira looked down at the floor of the stands as she walked over slowly to Lyra clenching her Pokeball with Quilava in tightly. she had no idea what to expect at all or if she was even in the right place. Her stomach rumbled yet again as Yukria had no idea where she could get food yet.
"So then we should all meet by the lake just outside of school," Lydia said, squirming with excitement as she walked towards the Battle Arena. "Since I don't have any classes after this, I'll wait for everyone and get started on training, so then when you guys come, I'll take a break and we can trade off so that all of us get in training and break time. Oh! We should all go out for a late lunch after!" She jumped up, giddy as ever. "I'm so excited! It'll look so cool if I can get Luna and Marvin to learn fire punch and ice punch! I can see it on the contest stage now--and in battle, we'll be a real challenge!"
Luna looked less excited, being the sort of pokemon that didn't care for training. "Hey, what's with all those webs?" Lydia stopped, taking a moment before becoming creeped out (and showing it more apparently on her face). "Are we really supposed to go in there...?"

Tojuro woke up and started his day off by making breakfast for his roommates and getting dressed. Heading off to gym class after selecting only one pokemon. As he ran to the class he summoned his riolu which quickly hop onto his back and making its way to sit on tojuro shoulder.
Once there he notice lydia and another student who he didn't see. He walk off but still staying in the group range. He sat down and pick up his riolu from his shoulder and began to pet his head so his fur is nice and smooth as he waited for class to begin. He wondered if he should of brought marshtomp, but to late now.
He began to playfully move his paws and had riolu slap himself playfully till he flailed about to get free from tojuro grip. Riolu ran off and turned around and bolted at tojuro and used blaze kick and jump in the air and kick tojuro on the cheek sending him right on his back. Tojuro out cold from his own pokemon as riolu stood on tojuro chest striking a pose of victory.
The obvious choice for a disastrous class like Lyra's gym class would have been lickitung. It was the most obvious choice when it came to battles, and was great as a repellent for unwanted attention givers. So it was quite the puzzle when she walked up with azurill. She adored the cute little blue pokemon, the way it charmed her with bubbles and bounced cutely on its tail, but it wasn't exactly a battling pokemon. And Togepi's luck would have been a better choice by far as her partner! So why azurill? "Ahzurell," She said sweetly and quiet like as she petted it. "Do yu-are best!" Tiny words of encouragement.
Lel, on the other hand, came in a little more well equipped with his krabby. The tall and lean young man had fresh bruises about his body. At least one on each arm, and two smaller one on his cheek and forehead. It looked like he'd been on the losing end of a fight--him! Of all people! He intimidated most of his peers at the same age just by standing there silently! He spoke in his native tongue, muttering to his pokemon the kinds of situations this psychotic teacher liked to put them through and gave it recognition of its strength--to which it replied with a snip of each claw. Looking at the web-work, it looked like he'd chosen well in his pokemon selection. A glance over and he noticed a few peers (Hana included) look at him and the apparent marks on his body, yet no one said anything to him. That's how he preferred it.
Rachel brought Cole into the gym with her from the dorms, having broken into his room early in the morning. "Wakey wakey, time to see the sunshine, you lazy bum!!" she had announced as she climbed in through the window. Without even letting him properly get dressed or anything, she simply dragged Cole off.
Entering the gymnasium, Rachel wasn't so sure of what they were to do now. "Sooo, uh, what are we supposed to be doing again...?" she said with a side glance to Cole. Maybe she should have spent more time paying attention and less time... Well, skipping class?
Cole had no idea what was going on until he saw the gym. The first thing he realized was that Rachel had dragged him from his room and towards the gym. And he was wearing a shirt and boxers. Where were his pants!?!? His face was red as he was yanked into the gym. "M-my pants..." Cole said quietly as he looked down. Then Glaceon came running in with, luckily, his gym clothes. Cole quickly put on his shorts and grabbed the shirt, changing out. "...Thanks Glaceon..." He said, kneeling down and petting her a few times. "...Gym Rachel... were doing gym..."
Rachel smirked at Cole's blushing face. Aww, was her poor childhood friend embarrassed?~ "Oh come on, no need to be so worried, who'd be looking at you anyways?" she said teasingly, knowing he probably (hopefully) wouldn't take it to heart, and punched his arm (not so) lightly.
"Gym huh," she said with a start, a mischievous grin quickly spreading across her face. Rachel cracked her knuckles, as though she were getting ready to beat someone up or something. "Awesome." She gave Cole a look over as if sizing him up. "...Hm..."
Nono, her charmander, came in trudging his feet along, seeming to be tired. He shook himself out and planted himself right beside his trainer, his tail swinging slowly from one side to the other as he looked around. Nono spotted Glaceon and belched fire in her direction, in greeting.
Glaceon quickly dodged the flame and growled. Didn't he know that Glaceon was ice type!?!? She stalked over to the charmander and pawed it until it tipped over onto its back before walking back to Cole, laying down at his feet. Cole chuckled a little and sighed. Then he heard Rachel talk before punishing his arm. He winced and rubbed that arm. She always was violent... And of course, they had to have gym today... Rachel was always...excited...when it came to gym, and he could tell by her grin as she looked him over. He took a step back and rubbed his neck. "...Y-yeah...but I think its for the pokemon more then anything..."
Vern walked into the Battle Arena with Lavenia as his Pokémon of choice. Normally he'd have chosen Spike, but they'd been doing a lot of training lately and felt that maybe he deserved a break for now. So, his furnance shaped Torkoal was going to be his battling companion this time... Another fire type. He didn't really know that this probably wouldn't be the best of choices, but hey, Lavenia was seldom on his team and he much preferred the opportunity to use her while he still could before the swap-out. On another note, the previous day at the Pokeball store, Vern ended up buying six Timer Balls and one Volt Ball.
Of course, Gym class was always... Exciting, for lack of a better term. Rampaging wild Pokémon was an uncommon occurance, so Vern had learned a while back that Ms. Heart was psychotic. Though, he'd much rather deal with her in gym class than deal with his dad, that was definitely a given. So he made the best of it for now, and went over to Lel. "Ready for gym?" He grinned at his humongous roommate, giving him a thumbs up as Lavenia's nostrils and furnance-shell spewed out white smoke in preparation for the class. What did they have in store today?
Rachel gave a slight shrug and then raised an eyebrow. "And so? I can do the same thing as my Pokémon if I want to, can't I???!" she said defensively, "what, you got a problem with that????? You gotta build up some muscle too, Cole!!!" She flicked her eyes towards his biceps not for the first time, just to make a point.
Nono grumbled, trying to get back on his feet. The charmander glared at Glaceon and then at her owner, Cole, with almost the same distaste. He much preferred it when Glaceon was still an eevee.
Devin smiled. "Sounds like a plan Lydia," He said as he watched her get so fired up over training. Some trainers took to it better than others he Guessed. But the happy moment came to a screeching halt when his walking companion froze in front of the arena... in webs. "I wonder what sort of terrible surprise our teacher has in store," He looked down at skitty. The pink pokemon didn't look bothered at all by the webs, and was probably oblivious to the dangers within them. "I wouldn't worry about it guys. If we stick together, we can look out for each other; like what we've been doing since that crazy first time in this class.
Jason walked up rather chipper beside his newly caught fighting pokemon. The hitmonlee didn't seem to understand the purpose of walking into the place, and spent more time glancing around than it did watching the walkway. "Hey there Vern, old buddy old pal!" He grabbed the smaller boy in a head lock. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you've been avoiding me! What's up with that?" He snickered, roughing around.
Lyra looked over as a timid voice chimed up, and returned it with a vile grin. "You're in the wrong spot short stack!" She laughed. "Lemme help you out," her words wreaked of venom, and the release of her charizard was a more ominous start of things to come. The fire type plucked up the small girl, dropping her in the thick of the web while Lyra snicked and cackled aloud.
"ALRIGHT KIDDOS LISTEN UP!" She screamed out for their attention, locking the group in as she normally had. "Today is about survival. You're going against web slinging, poison spitting, venom pinching pokemon. And for any wise a** who feels they can pass by easily with fire attacks... That's a great idea! But only if you like being roasted alive!" She laughed a little more. "The webs connect to eachother. They don't make for good candles cause of how quickly they burn--and it spread like... Well, wild fire! Heheh." She let out the rest of her pokemon. "And just to keep things interesting...! Swagger!" Her tentacruel let out a hot huff at a group of poison bug pokemon. "Confuse ray Brinewater! Jonathan, smoke screen." That was enough to agitate and confuse the wild and scared pokemon.
"And one and two and three and four..."Iris said as she jogged through the woods. She had the time before class would start. Since Jason told her she needed to lose a clothes size before the end of the month, Iris decided to get on that right away. It was the only reason why she didn't go see Niara to see if she was back from the infirmary and why she left out of Marco's room but he was awake. Currently, she was sweating and hungry but she needed to do this. In order to get her mind off of it, Iris decided to think about what Pokémon she would be using for Gym class today. She wanted to challenge herself. Unfortunately, the only two that would be a 'challenge' to her was Dratini and Liz. Iris thought about the class last time and came to the conclusion that it would be too for Dratini but.... It would be the excitement and possible risk of danger that was needed to get her Charizard's fiery behind to maybe listen and make her active.
With the nod of her head, Iris decided on Liz.... And really hoped that it wouldn't backfire on her.
It seemed that her continuous jogging and chant was getting some attention through the bush as it started rustle and followed her. Iris didn't notice it something charged at her leg, resulting in her falling face first into the grounds. "What in the...." Iris groaned as she rubbed the back of her leg. As she did so, she sat up and watched as a purple nidoran start to run and hop around her in a circle. Seem that he wanted to play with her. Iris looked at the Nidoran through her dex. Seeing its moves, ability and level, it seemed like he was here at the most perfect of moment. Iris chuckled at the playfulness of the nidoran as she took out her luxury ball.
"Let's go Dratini." Iris let out the rather skittish dragon type. The Dratini looked at Iris and then the Nidoran that stopped to look at him. Dratini looked back at Iris, very unsure of what he suppose to do and shying away from the Nidoran that was being oddly friendly. See we're looking a new friend.
Dratini looked back and forward between Iris and the Nidoran that was very friendly. Once the Nidoran touched the dragon Pokémon with his head as he nudged the Dratini, Dratini panicked and unleashed a Thunder wave. The friendly Nidoran was shocked and paralyzed but it didn't end there as the poor Nidoran was struck with a Twister that Dratini summoned to defend himself from the imaginary attack.
Iris was in shock as the Nidoran was dazed and confused. "Dratini that wasn't very nice. He was only being friendly...but it's okay... I know what to do."
Iris did what she could do. She dug into her bag and pulled out a pokeball got in a set of ten during the past weeks. Iris threw the ball and watched as the Nidoran went inside. Now was another waiting game as the ball shook and shook until it clicked closed and vanished. Once that was over. Iris patted Dratini's head. "Congrats you first battle and you won. Iris smiled at the Pokémon who smiled back at her before getting spooked by a twig and returning to the ball. Iris sighed a chuckled just as her alarm went off. It was time for her to get ready for class. "Looks like this jog will be transferred to the class instead. Iris sighed as she turned around and jogged back to the campus.....
Which led her to now as she was pretty late to class but not too bad so she wasn't going to marked absent. After a nice shower and the a run/ eat to class, Iris was able to get, be fed and start to stretch and let Ra out for some fresh air before the class started. Iris didn't feel comfortable with Liz just yet. After she finished, she found herself looking into the crowd. She saw her friends like Vern who was in a headlock due to Jason. The two that she sadly had to avoid so Jason didn't see her and make her do something embarrassing. Then there was Tojuro who was playing a game with his Riolu and the others. Not Marco though or Niara... Was she sick still. Was he sick now?
Iris was walking up to Tojuro to wake him up as the gym teacher announced the class. Iris' eyes widen when Lyra announced the class. She was even more happy that she chose Ra. Liz would not have thought twice about using her fire moves. Best of all, Ra looked pumped for today's class.
"Good. So we know the deal? Go big or go home. Right Ra?"

Cole gulped as who he assumed was the teacher went on what seemed like a psychotic rampage as she explained what they were doing. So they were poison types? So they couldn't really go for direct attacks... He smiled at Glaceon and nodded. She quickly used Hail, which sent a barrage of small ice balls at the bugs. It wouldn't take any of them down, but it should do enough damage to weaken them, and accidentally hit the teacher and some, if not all of the students by accident. But hey, collateral damage. What was the worst that could happen? A few bruises maybe? Maybe a few cuts on the top of the head, nothing that a kiss and a Band-Aid couldn't fix right?
