The Dream's hands were wrapped tightly around Salem's arms, attempting to get free. He quickly let go of his grip as Salem began throwing club like blows down on Cyrus' spine. The Dream kept flailing for a few moments but began to slow down, and his arms started to go limp. The Dream was quickly fading. Finally Cyrus fell to a knee after another of Salem's shots to the spine.

Salem felt Cyrus' grip start to loosen, his resolve waning to the point that his arms went limp at his sides. When the freshman fighter felt "The Dream" become a heap of dead weight, the rookie used his spare hand to lift up one of Leone's wrists while snapping his gaze to the side so as to beckon the official. Meanwhile, a chorus of boos spilled out into the ring, irate attendees displeased with the disrespectful display being made of the venerable vet.
"Do your job!" the M.W. Deuce demanded, brandishing the wrestler's wrist while keeping "The Dream" in his submission. "Be good for something!"

The referee stepped over to check on The Dream, lifting the man's arm in the air before letting it fall limply to the side. There was no reaction from Cyrus. Once more the referee lifted The Dream's arm to let it fall to the side. Finally, after one more attempt, the arm fell with no reaction. The man of dreams was out cold. The referee raised his hands to motion for the bell.

DING! DING! DING!
The referee had no choice but to call for the bell as Cyrus remained unresponsive, lost to the effects of the Hangman's Noose. Fans roared in angst, bitter that their beloved "Dream" had come to an end. Some started towards the door, others tossed cups and plastic food trays towards the ringside area, watching on as the official approached the pair, demanding the dastardly daredevil relinquish his lock. But Salem refused, threatening to snap Cyrus' neck by continuing the cringeworthy choke!

With the sound of the bell, Cyrus had relinquished his title. The Dream was now over for the fans in the WWFG. Cyrus remained unresponsive after the bell rang, still suffering from the effects the Hangman's Noose had on him. The crowd booed for Salem Croft as he continued his grip around Cyrus' throat. The Charismatic Calamity was truly a d**k.

At Salem's dismissive attitude towards the official's instructions, the ref tried taking a hands-on approach to the situation by physically interfering, proceeding to pry his bicep off Leone's throat. At this interjection, however, the Charismatic Calamity would use his spare arm and shove the striped shirt back, forcing him to the floor of the ring. Stepping back towards the nearby corner with Cyrus, Salem nudged his foot up against the jar of chane he had propped up on the apron, positioning the piggy bank just behind himself. Before the referee could recover, the rookie would attempt dropping back to the mat and convert his choke into an even deadlier DDT against the mason jar!

Spare change scattered through the ring and out to the floor below after Cyrus' was sent face first into the M.W. Deuce's mason jar full of change. Glass planted itself directly into Cyrus' forehead, causing him to begin bleeding profusely only moments after. Leone laid there motionless after Salem's deadly DDT.

Referees and trainers started to rush to the ring, but the high amount of cheers coming from the fans meant that someone else was also coming with them. Kelly King 2.0 rushed out from the back, still sporting a lot of bandages over his face, running down to the ring faster than anyone else, trying to scare off Salem before he could do any more damage to the legendary Cyrus Leone!
