"Might be. And I think you'll like it. It ain't nothin' too shameful." There was a sense of urgency in his voice, and as the elevator drew up to their floor, Tuck just picked Heidi up and started off to their room. He didn't even seem to mind he'd basically given away exactly what was in the box. "You got your keycard?"

Nothing too shameful was assuring. Heidi giggled when she was suddenly picked up, tucking her head under his chin and closing her eyes. He really was in a hurry to get her back to their hotel room. "It's in my wallet~."

Tuck let Heidi stand on her own two feet as they came to a stop outside their hotel room. He reached into his pocket for her wallet and promptly dropped it.
"Sorry." Tuck let out a low laugh as he reached down for it. "I been looking forward to this."
Rather than fumble around through Heidi's wallet, he handed it over to his girlfriend with a small grin.

Heidi was giggling as Tuck dropped the wallet, pursing her lips to hide a huge smile when he apologized and explained why he was suddenly fumbling with things. She took the wallet and opened it, taking out the key card. "Looking forward to what?" Heidi asked teasingly as she unlocked and opened the door, reaching around for the do not disturb tag and hanging it on the door before she stepped into the room. Once inside she kicked off her shoes and tossed her jacket over one of the chairs. Her eyes were on the white box. She knew what he wanted. And now she knew what was in the box. Heidi smiled back at Tuck over her shoulder. "Can I open it now?"

Tuck immediately toed off the damn shoes that had been killing his feet since he'd put them on. He glanced at the box on the bed before looking over at Heidi. There was an odd little smile on his lips.
"This. Looking forward to this. You can open it."
The box was pretty nondescript. Within the few folded sheets of tissue paper laid a pale pink piece of frilly lingerie. It was a simple little baby-doll cut. The bodice was very modest, snug towards the top before it fell away just beneath the bodice in a see-through gauzy material. The matching bottoms covered everything that a bikini would, and in truth it wasn't real revealing.
Tuck's expression was hopeful, nonetheless.

"Is that all?" She giggled. When he said she could open the box she gave a nod before she walked up to the bed and sat down on the edge, picking up the box. She glanced at Tuck, smiling and blushing at how hopeful he looked, before looking down at the box again and opening it.
Oh. She was right.
She blushed more. "Whoa..you got this for me?" Heidi asked, her voice soft. The lingerie was carefully lifted out of the box by its straps, her eyes widening slightly as she just stared at it. It was a lot more modest than she had been expecting and..that actually pleased her. It was some tightly fitted garment with straps and cutouts and made her feel awkward just to look at. It was actually nice. Heidi swallowed and looked from the little dress to Tuck and back again, a hint of a shy smile on her hips.
"It's cute~." She said quietly, standing and collecting the panties as well. "I'll go put it on, 'kay? I'll be right back." Heidi gestured to the bathroom as she said this. It wasn't that she was shy about her body around Tuck anymore, more she had never worn something like this for anyone before and well...if she didn't feel comfortable in it he wouldn't have to know right away and feel bad. She didn't see it happening considering it was actually pretty modest but just in case.
Heidi disappeared into the bathroom after that, intending on changing into the lingerie he'd gotten for her.

Tuck watched Heidi carefully as she withdrew the little piece of lingerie, not really realizing that he was holding his breath until she said it was cute. He exhaled softly and nodded, watching her disappear into the bathroom before he executed a few fist ******** his short victory dance, Tuck took off his socks and shirt and situated himself in bed with his pants on. He reached over to fuss with the alarm clock until the low sound of some instrumental jazz station came on over the speakers.
Whatever. That would work. This was how s**t was done in the movies, ********, who cared. It was nice background noise. Wasn't like he was expecting a striptease.

Heidi stared at herself in the mirror. She felt..pretty. Really pretty. She blushed, pulling her hair free from the braid she had done it in earlier that night and looked herself up and down. It was weird, she'd worn less than this in the form of bikinis and underwear, but she felt really pretty like this.
She cleared her throat and turned to exit the bathroom, making sure everything was properly put on before she stepped out. Heidi was still blushing, her smile shy, and her hands were behind her back.
The first thing she noticed was the music. She giggled.
Heidi walked around to stand near Tuck, doing a little turn for him to see the whole thing until she was facing him again. "What do you think?"

For a long time Tuck didn't say anything. Everything about the little piece of lace and fabric was flattering to her figure, as slight as she was. He let his eyes wander at will, and when he did speak, his voice was rough and more than a little urgent.
"C'mere an' let me show you what I think about it."
