They either reside in Yggdrasil, or hang out in the World of the Living. That being said, they can traverse dimensions, though I would hold out on actually invading the Soul Society until we have more major characters in play.

I probably should've added this to the Katena information, but they have the same reiatsu as a Shinigami, just not in Kochaku form. Just an FYI.
