╰☆╮Koetsu Mishima╭☆╯
Without devotion...We are nothing... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To complement their new location, the two had taken completely to a dance of the blades. Zanjustu and nothing else; no crafty kido, no fancy dodge moves, just the sounds of their blades whirling through the air in their attempts to cut each other. He rather enjoyed this form of combat, as it tested one’s physical ability and their thinking capabilities. His were being tested very effectively by the ex-squad eleven captain. He had felt her move towards him, that blade of hers slashing through the air to slice into his skin, so he had countered it with a double horizontal roundhouse slash that ran concurrently to her first attack. With his first revolution, his blade clashed against hers, creating a spark made from colliding reiastu and the omnipresent sound of metal against metal. The momentum from his first swing had carried him into the second, which had come out faster than the original. This slash would block the pommel, feeling it collide with the underside of his zanpakuto’s blade, making it rise slightly as another reiatsu spark flew off. Though he had adjusted to her speed after the first two attacks, he hadn’t expected the last attack to happen the way it did. He heard her hand touch her sheath and move it to use as a weapon, something an opponent of his never did in such close ranged battle. She was creative, if it wasn’t clear before. He hadn’t any time to block her sheath with his own zanpakuto, nor the free hand to replicate her maneuver and hit her sheath with his own. A simple use of Sho would have pushed the attack away and him out of danger of being hurt, but he hadn’t wanted to resort to kido while they were enjoying the contours of sword-fighting. He didn’t have many options, so he opted to minimize the damage. He slid backwards as much as he could before the near-instantaneous blunt object crashed into his stomach. He coughed as soon as he was hit, even though he had braced himself for impact when he had slid back. Her reirykou-enchanced attacks were effective at hurting him, even more so than the blade that he had trained to avoid. He may have drawn first blood, but Nocella had bruised him, twice now.
She had shown that she was as fast as he was when it came to attacking, as her entire assault had been completed in less than two seconds. He should have expected that she was so efficient when he heard what position she formerly held. Of course the captain of the combat specialist division would be a challenging opponent. After a second of thought he realized that trying to engage her in fair zanjutsu was a pointless idea, as even though their reiastu levels were at similar levels, her combat experience and creative battle decisions had given her the upper hand in their battle. No use fighting a losing battle, right? He wasn’t quitting though. Merely upping the ante and forgoing ideals of a zanjustu only battle. It wasn’t like they weren’t at war or anything. He had jumped back a few feet, smirking at the woman opposite him in an act of admiration. He had chosen to speak for once, not having spoken unrequited in a while. We would acknowledge her with playful banter, and would smile at her regardless if her response was hostile or not. “You were just sitting and watching earlier, like you were bored…. Are you entertained now?” He certainly was. If it was one thing, this invader certainly gave him a refreshing course in battle. That feeling of her not being an enemy had spilled into his head once more, but he quickly shrugged it off. His reiatsu began to become visible around him, silver as the moon in the sky. Their duel was consistently entertaining, and his next decision would only intensify that feeling. “Project through the heavens, Shoujin…”
He held his zanpakuto horizontally in front of him, as he stated the release command for his shikai. The weapon was illuminated with the color of vibrant steel, and once the burst of reiatsu around him had settled down, the light had subsided into a constant dim silver glow around the blade. Aside from the blade of Shoujin extending by a half foot and a silver tassel ending in a metal ring hanging off of the pommel, not much changed with his activated shikai. And that was the beauty of it. His zanpakuto had looked underwhelming compared to that of others, but in his opinion its look did not matter. He didn’t unleash his shikai for its looks; he activated it for the abilities that he felt were excellent for his opponent.
He turned his zanpakuto vertically, both hands settling onto the handle comfortably. This simple movement, as small as it was, had activated Shoujin’s standard effect; a shrill whistling sound that practically assaulted his opponent’s ears. Since he had moved it slightly, the sound wasn’t as intense, but it was still noticeable nonetheless. He waved the blade back and forth, each time increasing in speed and applied power. Doing so increased the volume of the sound that his zanpakuto gave off. He aimed to annoy Nocella with his noise before moving in for the next set of attacks. Losing the smirk from his face, he dashed in towards her with a speedy shunpo, purposefully thrusting into a two-handed stabbing attack to the left of her head so that the loud shrill sound would maul her eardrums thanks to the momentum and power he placed into the stab. Expecting her to be at least disoriented, he continued with a downwards slash, another shrill whistle as loud as the previous flying out of his moving blade, aiming to cut through her left shoulder blade and collar bone. Thirdly, his blade turned around as he moved it forward and ripped it upwards from in-between her legs, aiming to cleave her in half. He decided to remain in close with his opponent after his assault, so he used the advantage of his last attack being a slash from the ground to the air to place himself in a stance where his blade was pointing out towards Nocella, the handle beside his head, while his knees were bent so that he was slightly closer to the ground, and in the position to give a short jump if he needed to.

This Captain had some serious skill to match her, but she felt her third strike go through. Had it been unorthodox? Maybe, maybe not. But a sheath was just as much of the Zanpakuto as the blade, and Nocella was famed not only for her sword skills, but her prowess with twin blades. An unreleased blade that took the form of two Zanpakuto was unheard of. So Nocella substituted that drawback for her sheath. Her entire Reversal Artist style was based on the usage of two weapons, and her sheath supplemented to that little weakness. Needless to say, Nocella was impressed by the skill this Captain had. His block had utilized the flipping and twirling of his blade with nothing more than his hands and wrists. A style that was similar to her own. Attempting to flip a blade around without dropping it was a feat in itself. In her thousands of years training in Shino Academy and the Gotei, she hadn't even managed to master reversing her grip on her blade in rapid succession until she became a Captain. The physical skill that allowed someone to do so was immense, and this Captain was no exception to that rule. If used correctly, flipping your blade like a baton was a formidable skill to wield. Not only did it extend the range of your moves, it also allowed your blade to dance around your opponent like the gentle waltz of a river. The array of moves added to the list were endless. The switch from close range to long range was a beautiful and fatal movement. The whirl of your blade was like a rush through the bloodstream. She was almost starting to like this Captain.
The instant her third attack had struck, Nocella recoiled from the attack to gain distance before he could launch a counterstrike. Sliding back on her toes, she went into her stationary Reversal Artist stance. Left hand with Zanpakuto pointed forward, right hand on the mouth of the sheath in a reverse grip. By now, a trained observer of the eye would notice that she was left handed. Prior to drawing her secondary weapon, her blade had been held by both hands. The only way to tell she was left handed was realizing that her left hand gripped the blade higher than her right. But, as it was, this Captain had lost his sense of sight. Her prior attack, launched first with one hand, and then her secondary weapon, made it clear that she was left handed. An respectable warrior of his skill would have noticed. People were used to blocking and attacking right handed opponents. The inverse of those rules applied to left handed people. Not only would he have to shift his blocks and attacks accordingly, he would also have to defend accordingly to her attacks. Warriors that knew how to defend against those of the left hand without practice were few and far in between. Their area of attack and range of blocking differed from most people. Though ambidexterous in nature, Nocella never failed to exploit her advantages in favor of her swordplay.
Lifting an eyebrow as the man spoke of words that were not of combat, she couldn't resist letting the corner of her mouth twitch up in a smirk. Answering the question was rhetorical. Whether she had initially wanted to battle or not, she was a warrior and the mistress of the blade. It was in her blood, soul, and sword, to enjoy every fight that came her way. That insatiable lust that couldn't be described. The ecstasy of fighting such a skilled opponent with assets that rivaled her own. It was such a euphoric feeling that just couldn't be described in words. An emotion that was the secret of warriors and the bane of the common. Only the most skilled and dedicated of warriors ever experienced it. It wasn't just about fighting or battling. It was going above and beyond oneself...transcending the physical realm of fighting and emotionally throwing your heart and soul into something. Back when she was the Captain of the Eleventh Division, she didn't expect anyone to understand her. Just like her and her predecessors, the Kenpachi, had all been stated as mad for their love of fighting. None of them got it, and they never would.
"I was beginning to think you've gone mute, as well as blind, Captain!" she said, laughing jovially as he spoke his Zanpakuto incantation. As the environmental remains of his release subsided, she couldn't say it was all that impressive. Her own wasn't very aesthetically impressive either, until she used her Zanpakuto abilities. But looks didn't matter in combat. Everything was all pure skill. As he dropped into his stance, his Zanpakuto began to emit a sound. The noise wasn't all that large, but it irritatingly pierced the ears. His Zanpakuto was purely distractionary, only adding to his combat prowess as he fought. Again, much like her own. But despite having read through his files and his information brought to her by Grimm, she'd be lying if she claimed that she had been prepared for what came next. Experiencing, after all, was so much more valuable than reading something on a screen.
The minute he Shunpoed, she knew he was going in for a stab. His uplifted sword stance merely said as much. Theoretically, he could slash, but stabs were much harder to dodge and block. Utilized to aim for specific areas and pinpoint precision, the sharp linear attacks were deadly if used accurately. As soon as he jabbed at her with his blade, she hadn't meant to block. The attack was purposefully not aimed directly at her, so while his blade was occupied at jabbing the air, his defenses would be wide open for her to attack. But the insane noise that pierced her ears caused her to flinch and lift her blade out of trajectory. It couldn't be helped. As fast as her reflexes and thought processes were, nothing stopped the body from its reactions. No matter what thoughts she had to make her body move in time, sheer willpower couldn't ignore her brain's functions. It was like willing your leg to not go up when your kneecap was tapped. Like keeping your hand on a hot surface that you accidentally brushed into. Like telling your body not to shiver when its cold. Drowning out her thought functions into the background of piercing sound, her brain made her body move out of protest, with the instinctive reaction to clamp her hands over her ears, or at the very least, knock the sound away. The slight jerk of her hands going up completely destroyed her intended attacking stance. A fatal mistake. By chance alone, her blade collided with his downward strike, only serving to accidentally deflect it partially, allowing the blade only to slightly move from its intended trajectory. However, with the angle of their blades, this served to only make the attack worse, as it cut into her neck. Finally regaining control of her senses, the noise from the slash effectively did nothing, as her ears were still ringing from his stabs. She managed to stumble backwards, disallowing him to decapitate her and avoiding his final upwards slash.
Sliding her sheath back into her belt, she pressed her hand against the wound. Hardly feeling the pain that she was used to, she still gave a grimace. Nocella counted herself lucky. Any deeper and the sword would have ripped through her jugular. The wound itself wasn't serious, despite the fact that it was semi-deep. Deep enough to cause profuse blood flow, but not deep enough to put her in critical condition. Blood ran down her left arm when her hand retreated from the wound. "Impressive." she said flatly. Her voice held no particular emotion, but to those that knew her, receiving a compliment from her was a feat by itself. Especially when it concerned swordplay, her one true virtue and pride.
He was a dangerous foe backed with a formidable Zanpakuto. Not only did it destroy her senses, but it turned her body against her. Her reflexes and reactions were what she relied on the most. He would prove to be a challenge...maybe even one of the strongest foes that had ever matched her. Aero was an idiot. This Captain wasn't just anyone. The Gotei had stepped up their game. Sheathing her blade, Nocella stood in a relaxed standing position. Most people would think that she was retiring from the battle, but this was her natural stance to activate her Shikai. "Ravish, Taiko Aijin..." she whispered. In a small flourish of reiatsu around her, she reappeared with few changes. Her hair had grown noticeably longer, and her Zanpakuto had turned into twin ornate Zanpakuto, hanging on either side of her hips. Eyes turned red, she slowly inhaled the scent of blood that was coming from her wound. "A shame..." she sighed, raising her right hand to lick the blood off her fingertips. "...that Karma just caught up with you." Dashing forward to close the gap, Nocella went into close range before ducking into a low crouch. Drawing both her blades in a lightning fast movement, she cut forward on the draw. "Fleuret Style, Iaijutsu!" she called, sliding both blades clear out of the sheath and fully utilizing the length of the blades to swing two wide arcs towards both of the Captain's knees. As soon as the arcs were made, she fluidly flipped both blades into a reverse grip, using the advantage of her crouch to smash both pommels of the blade into his stomach, where he now held a weak spot from her previous attack.

Raiku Sato Squad 10 Captain Raiku saw the blade being swung at him and using the extra speed and durability granted to him by his new form he simply swatted the blade away with his left palm, though it was damaged somewhat by the act. Raiku then pointed his hand at Zetsu "Bakudo 79 "Kuyo Shibari" Eight black orbs would then surround Zetsu stopping the man in his tracks. Raiku then used his immense speed to rush up to Zetsu's front and held out two fists. Raiku then proceeded to go for Zetsu's midsection. "Sokotsu" If the attack hit, with Raiku's power level at the moment, a normal captain level opponent would be completely shattered. However, considering Zetsu's sheer strength combined with this hierro like technique, it would be survivable. However, Zetsu would without a doubt be severely injured and his ribs would also almost certainly be broken. Zetsu would also have difficulties dodging the attack due to both the bakudo and the sheer speed of Raiku's attack with was only slightly slower than the blink of an eye.

"I wouldn't call the King's Realm a s**t hole unlike that vast and barren desert you call home." Grinning afterwards, Kenshin appeared in front of Aero, as he swung his zanpaktuo straight towards Aero. However, as expected, Aero dodged his attack effortlessly.
"What Grimm did to the Gotei 13 is absolutely deplorable and I'm sorry that he couldn't suck up the fact that change is inevitable in life. It's a true tragedy really. Such wasted talent that kid has become." Sighing, Kenshin resumed his onslaught of attacks towards the Espada Lord, as he wasn't pleased by the appearance of the arrancar, but was making sure to keep a level head during the entirety of the fight.

Former: Squad 7: Captain Location: Hueco Mundo Thoughts: Very Interesting Reiatsu Gauge: Full Zanpakuto State: Shikai With: Raiku O.O.C.: Edit: Zetsubo________ Uchu_______ He watched with Raiku's immense speed, he had gain the advantage due to this new transformation. Zetsu had then fallen victim to the kido spell, which had stopped his movements and never the less had also left him open for another attack. Once Raiku had used his attack to hit Zetsu in the abdomen, he sat there and watched. Feeling the force behind such a attack he widened his eyes as he was then feeling almost every bone shatter within his abdomen. This had sent him sliding back, which he had slowly fallen to his knees. He had pause for a short moment as he became quiet, his body had slowly began to glow with a dark purple aura which began to engulf the entire area of the battle between him and Raiku. He had then stabbed his zanpakuto into the ground, as he slowly began to raise to his feet looking at the being before him.
A small sigh had escaped his lips, which he had then looked to the sky."I have to admit....you've have greatly increased in power....and speed captain....this evolution is quite...interesting."he said. He had cracked his knuckles he knew since Raiku had came to the brink of his power, then he should too do the same. Well not really, he wasn't going to unleash his ultimate power just yet, instead he would rather used a technique he hadn't used in a long amount of time. By summoning his shinigami powers to the right side of his body and his hollow power to the left side of his, he then began to mix up this aura which by then his bones began to heal as he was substituting his some of his shikai power to his hollows natural healing factor. He was actually more awaken thanks to Raiku now knowing that when he go to meet Kenshin, he has even more to look forward too.
The man then jumped in the air after a few second, not completely healed but at least enough to move at his normal pace he used his balanced power to fuse shunpo and sonidio all in once "Mitsune.."he said calmly. With less then a second he was next to Raiku with his blade at the mans waist aiming to slash the mans midsection. The speed of the blade had increased in his right hand due to the shift of his power making one part of his body shinigami reitsu and the other all hollow reitsu. ...or Can you Forgive......

"Men aren't prisoners of wars......" "From the world of darkness I did let loose demons..... When Kenshin finished speaking to him and continued his onslaught of attacks, Aero was easily able to dodge the attacks taking only minimal damage. As he dodged the attacks he kept stepping backwards causing Kenshin to come to him, just as he wanted it to. Continuing to dodge he moved side to side, jumping up to dodge the low attack, ducking on the high attacks, on the final thrust of Kenshin's zanpakuto Aero planted his back on the ground and immediately jumped back onto his feet, as he came face to face with Kenshin he immediately sent out a powerful cero blast straight to him, using it as a diversion. Using his sonido he appeared high in the air looking down at the smoke and dust that had overtaken the area he was just in. He looked up just in front of him seeing Kenshin untouched by the cero. "You are wrong on one thing Hiroshi, Grimm Amarai was never really apart of the Soul Society, sure he is a Shinigami and he was a Captain, but his alliance was never with the Soul Society. You were all fools to believe he was, now can we do this seriously?" When he finished speaking he let out a ferocious amount of spiritual pressure the area around them quaking with tremendous fear, those who couldn't handle the massive spiritual pressure would soon be on their knees or dead.
His spiritual pressure continuously rising, he kept his eyes directly on Kenshin's, he was waiting for him to get serious, but Aero knew better. If he was going to get Kenshin full on serious, he would have to something that was going to royally piss him off. Letting his spiritual pressure dissipate, and as soon as he did he disappeared from view, only reappearing just in front of Kenshin starting a full on onslaught of attacks, his speed only able to be matched by someone on his level. His attacks were coordinated, yet it was complex, his fighting style was straight forward, but his technique was his own. He mixed his attacks, sending a left jab to the right side of Kenshin's temple, in the midst of that he sent a right knee to his stomach. After he sent both hits he twisted his body around sending a hard right fist towards his jaw. He repeated this maneuver several times before changing it up, he knew Kenshin could keep up with him, it was just the matter of if he was going to get serious.(OOC: Doesn't bother me, I just did the same sort of so yeah we're even lol) "...but prisoners of their own fate" "...devils in the powers of scorpions to torment"

YUKI VIANEY________________________ lieutenantxxofxxsquadxxten Waiting for the body of water to draw Zetsu away from Raiku with his zanpakuto, a sudden appearance of Grimm came as he had his blade drawn as he sliced through the body of water, instantly the water turned into rock hard ice, before shattering into small fragments, like glitter dancing in the air. Yuki already knew that this was turning out bad already with Grimm's appearance out of no where and her attack being blocked. Looking towards Raiku and Zetsu, Yuki noticed that she had sealed Raiku's hand onto Zetsus zanpakuto. Yuki already knew that she was going to get crap if they survived this battle, maybe she'll send him a pie without a raging badger in it, as an apology gift just for Raiku, however before she came here, Yuki was already ticked off from stupid people and the idea of war already linked her mind, hearing Grimms words, Yuki turned her attention towards him and chuckled coldly," Look whos talking. You betrayed your home and your brothers and including the old Head Commander whom I've heard greatly cared for you." Yuki snarled coldly at him as she took a breath and her image shimmered slightly, her odd spiritual pressure disappearing to nothing, " I am not a fool, you are the foolish one. I have friends that I will protect. However seeing that your in my way into supporting someone, I accept your challenge." Yuki said coldly with no emotion at all, as the temperature began to drop dramatically, and the clouds above them grew darker. All of a sudden, in a blink of an eye another Yuki appeared behind Grimm, swinging her zanpakuto in a arc down his spine, with great strength and speed as she would pivot of her heel, lifting her leg up and attempted to kick him right along his ribcage, as her fake image disappeared. If it would hit him at all, it would first cause him to lose a lot of blood and braking a few ribs sending him a few feet away from her. Yuki was one of the most advanced Lieutenant in the Gotei 13, in her fighting skills, and learning Utsusemi and performing it to throw Grimm off. Hopefully that will cause her not to die right off the bat. Yuki was still in Shikai, and with her hollows mask, causing her speed and strength to grow greatly, as she attacked Grimm. So what if she didn't know Grimm, she wouldn't let him get in her way without a fight

---l--xxl-Grimm Amarai-lxx--l--- M.A.S.K. Agent Men are not Prisoners of war.... ------------------------------------- Don't ever believe that Darkness will Triumph.... ------------------------------------ With this Light of Fire I Bring..... ----------------------------------- He listened to Yuki speak and let out a small laugh, her words were amusing to him, he looked at her as she began to power up he was enticed by her power, she may be powerful but Grimm knew he could still take her on. He stood there waiting for her to attack and as soon as she did he knew it was on. He still thought she was foolish and her words about his betrayal about the Soul Society being his home, was untrue. As Yuki attacked Grimm, her attacks moving towards him at an incredible rate, yet he stood still, and just as the attacks were about to hit they went straight through him as he dodged using shunpo, an after image of himself in his place of the attack. He was now standing just beside Zetsubo his zanpakuto still at the ready waiting. "You called this place my home, you are wrong, this place was never my home, hell I was a nobody until I met Animus, what that man did for me was very noble of him, and it has not gone to waste. You just don't realize everyone has their path, this is mine." He finished speaking letting out a rush of spiritual pressure, as he breathed he could see his breath, it was cold, but he wasn't letting it bother him, she wanted to fight, she was going to get one. "Eliminate Evil; Tenshi no ō, āchi - Tyrael!" He released his Shikai state, his look drastically changing, he was seen in the purple garment with the golden armor surrounding his body, he was holding his large golden sword the blade pointed down touching the ground, his wings on his back stretching out as he settled into the Shikai of his zanpakuto.
He picked up the sword off the ground and took a couple of slashes before disappearing from Yuki's view, almost immediately he kept using his own sheer speed mixed with his shunpo to create several after images of himself surrounding Yuki. He kept this up for a minute before at once it seemed all 5 Grimm's the real one included was sending a swift and forceful strike down at her midsection. In the midst of the attack he released a massive wave of spiritual pressure out of his zanpakuto adding further devestation to the attack. The precision of the attack and the sheer movement of Grimm in his Shikai state made this attack near impossible to dodge or block. ╰☆╮Koetsu Mishima╭☆╯
Without devotion...We are nothing... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The number of injuries between the two had been equal again, something he realized as he felt that his zanpakuto cut into the soft surface that was her flesh. He couldn’t see exactly where had sliced her, though he knew it was somewhere high due to how high the blade was when it had stopped falling. Once her unplanned block had diverted the path of his downward slash, he felt it curve inwards, as if he had hit her neck or the cheek of her face. Had to have been the neck, as the cheek was shallow, not as deep as where he had struck. Where he had hit her didn’t seem to matter in the long run though, as her wound, like the previous one he’d inflicted, wasn’t fatal or that debilitating to her wellbeing. It only impressed him more how tough this woman was. Certainly tougher than all the other combatants in the area, that was a given. He had picked the right one to combat.
Her words only increased the width of the smile splayed on his blindfolded face. The response was as friendly as his own banter was, and he appreciated that sentiment. She had every right to speak something of disrespect, disgust, or even not respond at all. They were enemies after all, even if it felt like they were two dancers on the ballroom floor. She had pointed out his lack of dialogue for the most part, how he had only really spoken to use Kido and for not much else. Of course it was purposeful, but no one had ever pointed it out to him. Normally, he had only spoken for important things, like Kido, giving orders to lesser Shinigami, and acknowledging his Head Captain’s questions. Interacting with others only resulted in a head nod, or a hand gesture, or no acknowledgement at all, like he had done with that Arrancar earlier. He was sure that she didn’t recognize how important it was that he had spoken to her, even if it was only a sentence. He didn’t speak freely to anyone, much less enemies of his aligned faction. Nocella was special enough to him.
He took her compliment into his ears, rather grateful for the acknowledgement of his lethal efforts. The tone hadn’t really mattered to him. In fact, it was the word itself that mattered. A male opponent, even himself, would have acknowledged with arrogance or doubt towards being matched by their opponent. But she didn’t, she gave respect where it was due. He couldn’t help but to admire her more because of that. His zanpakuto gave the sound of a raindrop hitting the water inside of his head, and Koetsu knew exactly what he said, even through the lack of actual words. Shoujin told him to stop fawning over her, that she was the enemy and he needed to stop noticing her good qualities and focus on the fact that he was supposed to kill her and not let her succeed in her goal. The Shinigami dismissed his zanpakuto’s words, believing that a being of her caliber deserved appreciation, and that Shoujin was jealous because Koetsu never showed him that much deference. Such a thought caused him to chuckle as he refocused back onto his female acquaintance.
He kept his stance as he listened to the sultry voice carry the release command of her shikai on the wind that she had garnered with the burst of reiastu around her. The savage connotations of a word like ravish only supplemented her imposing combat prowess. Once she had completed her transformation, he cursed his lack of sight once more. He couldn’t see the changes to her zanpakuto outside of the outline of reiatsu splitting into two, and he couldn’t visualize her aesthetic differences either. All he could decide was that her shikai gave her two blades opposed to one. Far more deadly she was now, if the blunt strike with her sheath had shown earlier. She was unparalleled at ambidextrous combat and her zanpakuto supported that strength. He couldn’t spend too much time wondering what else had changed, especially because she had gone on the offensive once more. The second the last syllable of her sentence had fallen, she dashed towards him, closing the distance quite quickly. It felt like she was faster than her base level, and if she combined that with her dual blades, he was really going to be in trouble. She shouted the name of a technique, sending an alert to his body, his brain trying to keep up with the blazing fast action. The name, coupled with the sound of blades being unsheathed, had told him what her move was.
His stance awarded him with the advantage to protect against her attack, yet he was again unprepared for her speed. He leaned back, the top half of his body winding back while his knees and the rest of his lower half bending in an angle associated with his movement. For the most part, he avoided the brunt of her first attack, though her speed had resulted in two light cuts into his upper legs, slightly visible through the slices in his hakama. They hadn’t hurt much, as noticeable as the blood sliding down each of his shins was. His winding back had inevitably brought him forwards, and he pushed himself into a wide swing at her stomach. The shrill came out again, as the blade flew, though it wasn’t his intention to disorient her this time. He was merely projecting against her attack, because at the angle he felt the pommels of her two katanas flying, they would hit him in his bruised stomach and create a whole lot of more problems. His blade had almost instantly collided with the pommels of her own weapons, and he used that opportunity to push back while moving back himself to create some space. The decision to move back would put them both in neutral positions, allowing either to attack or block without previous stances or advantages coming into play.
He contemplated what his next offensive move would be. He didn’t want to keep relying on Kandakai to keep disorienting her. Eventually she’d learn to block it out, or even adapt to the noise to become immune to its purpose and effect. Relying on the basic ability would only weaken his offense, so he decided to switch it up and keep her on her theoretical toes in the meantime. He knew what his next move would be, and he made it especially because of her shikai affording her two weapons opposed to one. With her abilities, she could easily block his blade with one of hers and proceed to spill his guts all over the grounds of the Seireitei. That was practically suicide, or at least a very bad move to make. He would have to keep disorienting her to slip through her guard and wound her once more.
Smirking again, he placed his left hand on Shoujin’s hilt, whispering a command loudly enough for her to hear. “Haoto, Shoujin…”He followed his words with two taps to the back of the blade with his index and middle fingers, causing the dim glow around his zanpakuto to intensify in its visibility. If one stared very closely to his blade, they would see that the blade had been vibrating under the cover of the silver light spilling out of his zanpakuto. He took cafeful care not to move the blade around until he attacked. Activating this technique had rendered the shrill sound inert until technique ended, but he was sure Nocella hadn’t known that, and he would be relying on her body’s natural reaction to avoid an expected annoying sound. His vibrating blade had a few uses, the simplest of which was cutting through an Arrancar’s Hierro or a Quincy’s Blut with ease. The second, which relied on zanjutsu and the opponent to be an excellent kenjustu specialist(Nocella meeting this requirement more than enough), involved his vibrating blade clashing with theirs in order to pass the vibration on to cause their hold on their weapon to quiver and their guard to open right up. He had only three strikes to make this happen, as the vibration would end and the shrill would return as soon as his blade had collided with another zanpakuto for a third time. He would be using both uses against this awesome opponent.
The offensive was his once more. He ran in this time, his last step before arriving to her in a slide, using the momentum to hold his katana up and give a quick whack at her forehead. Sure, the attack would leave his chest wide open, but he was playing on the advantage that he thought he’d have. He would expect her to recoil to protect her ears from his blade moving, still thinking that she’d expect the shrill sound in advance, so that gave him room to attack with a high risk move. Normally the attack wouldn’t be lethal, but the vibration would cause his blade to sail through her flesh like a knife though hot butter. Though his attack would be lethal if it had hit her completely, killing her wasn’t the intention of the attack, so he had deliberately gave a second of lag time before the blade flew at her so that she could block it despite the surprise that he had planned before. He didn’t want the battle to end as it was, but he also needed to protect against the invaders, so his entire first move was a compromise between the two sides. Her blocking his attack was the preferred response to his tactic, doing so would vibrate her own zanpakuto and hopefully crack that guard open once more. He followed his initial attack with a horizontal double slash, one right after the other, moving forward before each slash so that he could put her into a position to block his strikes instead of dodging them. He wanted the possible vibrations to catch her off guard while he moved in for a decisive blow. To close out his assault, he turned into a roundhouse slash aimed at her right hip, leaning back enough so that he couldn’t cleave her in two if she had actually been hit by the attack. If she had blocked the last attack and his blade had no vibrations left, the recoil from his rebounding slash would leave him quite exposed to counterattack.

Mood: Worried Location: Seireitei Thoughts: Don't let this end too quickly... Zanpakutō: Shikai
[O.O.C: Likewise, xD. For my attacks, the amount of strikes that you block and avoid are up to you (of course) so I'd ask you to go ahead and puppet my zanpakuto depending on Nocella's decisions. (Amount of vibrations left, if not any then the shrill sound that'll resume when they run out.) The vibrations of his blade will also end once you start attacking regardless.]

Stepping out of her attack, she went into a relaxed standing position with both blades hidden behind her arms. The lustrous waltz was fascinating to her. An attack, a dodge, then a slow evaluation before another attack from the opposing warrior. Giving a chuckle, she ran the tip of her tongue along the base of her teeth. By now, she was fully turning into her alter persona that was well known as the Karma Demon to her comrades. The persona of a woman drowned in the heat of battle and fury, it was like suffering a psychotic break. It was similar to how the Kenpachi's acted in battle right as it ended. The final rush of euphoric feeling that drove their souls and blades mad. The fearsome reputation that had the Eleventh Division Captains and their great fighters revered in name. The Captain standing in front of her...she had the insatiable desire to rip him apart limb by limb in the most beautiful fashion possible. Nocella wanted to drive her sword into him again and again, feeling the caress of his body against her blade. The wounds he had sustained...she wanted to savor them and add more to his form, like carving an elegant piece of artistry out of a canvas. As sickeningly romantic as it was, he was her entire world, and whether he knew it or not, was already being drawn into the dark recesses of her mind. The psychopath and the demon that the Soul Society had turned her into was slowly starting to surface after such a slumber. The last time this had ever happened had been the day she had defected from the Soul Society.
Nocella gave an impressed whistle as the man stood like a statue, activating his next Shikai ability. It was pretty, least to say, but aesthetics weren't her thing in combat. Unless you called her dead opponents a carving of her "art". The fluid movements that she had practiced for centuries came out effortlessly. She didn't purposely waste excess movement and energy to make her moves look good. It was the sign of a skilled warrior. To make your moves look deadly and graceful at the same time was the mark of a master in their art. Trying to move your body in a certain way was a useless vanity that most rookies had the mistake of making. Of course, a master of the blade make it look easy. No one said they did it on purpose. But alas, what one sees with the eyes is what one achieves for. This Captain was different. His blindness was such an intricate quality of his that couldn't be ignored. His tenacity to move past his weaknesses and find strength in failure was admirable. The sheer skill of his swordplay was proof of that. His handicap wasn't a handicap at all, but something to push him to improve above and beyond his skills. Everyone was impressed by a skilled swordsman. Consequently, everyone would be amazed by a blind one. By limiting himself, he had ironically crossed the bounds of everyone around him. A feat to behold.
Slightly shifting her arm up and flicking her wrist, she brought her left blade into a regular gripped position, and kept her right arm stationary. The minute he charged, she was ready for him. His first attack was aerial, aiming high for her head. Immediately shifting her right foot forward, she lunged into him instead of pulling back or trying to block the sword. In essence, she wasn't trying to block his sword from reaching her, but going for the source of the attack. His arm. From what she had observed, his Zanpakuto ability relied on movement and contact. If his blade didn't move, it wouldn't make any sound. If it didn't hit her own blade, the sound wouldn't be able to resonate. Soundwaves worked when travelling through air, but the air friction against them muted the sound over distance. If he connected with something that was conductive, like the metal of her Zanpakuto, the sound would only amplify and transfer through the air at close range. Blocking was stupid, dodging would leave her nowhere, and she couldn't very well take the hit on purpose. So she went for the best form of action.
Invading his personal space in step with his movements, she countered against him like a finely tuned instrument. She didn't fail to notice how easy it was to slip into his guard, due to his second of lag time that he gave her. Every movement he made, every twitch of his muscles, even the angle of his swings, all calculated into her head. If he thought she missed that little handicap that he gave her, he was sorely mistaken. Nocella wasn't one to be played for a fool, despite the repetitive history of betrayal in her past. Once she had left the Soul Society, she changed drastically, vowing that it would be the last time anyone ever took advantage of her or used her. Thought of as weak and a failure of a Shinigami, she didn't take his handicap lightly. The rational side of her told her to ignore it. Water under the bridge, as he was merely either testing her yet again, luring her into a trap with purposefully mistaken movements, or trying to prolong the fight. The psychopath within her wouldn't relent to this insult though. It screamed for blood, for redemption, and for her pride. Obviously, it was much more straightforward than her rational side.
Shoving her left forearm against his right, she blocked the blade without actually having to...well, block it. Unbeknownst to her, and by sheer coincidence, she had put a kink in his plans to open a hole in her guard, as she had avoided the vibration entirely, while trying to avoid the assumed noise reception. As he followed up with his double slash that was parallel to the ground, Nocella put a single step distance between them, moving back with her left foot in order to ground her position against the strength of his attacks. His first attack hit the blade in her right hand, knocking the blunt edge of the blade against her forearm. Immediately, she felt the muscles in her right arm start to spasm from the transferred vibrations. Having no time to recover as the second horizontal slash came at her, she was forced to block it with her blade yet again, pushing the vibrations down the metal, through the fabric that wrapped around the hilt, and down into her flesh, muscle, and bone. His final attack came, and she ducked as low as possible, the blade whooshing past the top of her head as she lunged forward on all fours, like a cat. Theoretically, with her arms shaking and widely out of use, she could have potentially kicked away the attack with her spare legs. But this wasn't just any fight, this was a tangle of swords. Nothing would ruin the moment for her...not even his purposefully slow blows. If it had been at full speed, he might've managed to slice her scalp off, but then again, it wasn't. Which pissed her off pretty bad.
As she lunged, both her hands lifted off the ground. While she straightened up from her crouch on the ground to bring her body back up to level with him, she simultaneously pivoted her feet to gracefully sweep her body in a full circle like a dancer on ice. Her final position had her standing right next to his right side. The finality of her circular sweep had latched her left leg behind his, tangling the two together. In the midst of the heat of battle, she leaned in close to his ear, parting her lips before she spoke. "I'm the type of woman who doesn't like to be teased." she murmured, her words caressing the lobe of his ear. "And I was juuuuust, starting to fall for you." she whispered, putting a finger up to her lips in a shushing motion, despite the fact that he couldn't see it. It was obvious that she was unamused by his antics. His playing around with her like a chew toy was an insult and a disrespect in her book. Well, at least her psychopath's book. She wanted this man serious, aiming his blade directly at her life and his claws scratching at her veins. Nocella wanted death at her doorstep. The only person who could give her such a worthy fight was the Captain before her.
A split second after she finished her shushing motion, she jerked her left leg back, aiming to trip him backwards. If successful, the motion of her leg would flatten him to the ground and also make her turn a 180 so the two would be facing in the same direction. If he took the fall, she planned to make her pivot and immediately drop to her right knee, bringing her reverse gripped right hand blade down on him like a guillotine through his neck. Whether the trip up happened or not, she activated one of her Shikai abilities in mid-tactic. Spoken in between the backwards movement of her foot and her pivot, Nocella changed form with a split millisecond of lag time, seemingly instantaneous, but noticeable to a trained opponent. "Noxious..." she said, the whispered word slipping between her lips in a snake-like hiss. Her opponent may mistake this for her Bankai release, but there was little reiatsu flourish as her form changed. She now donned a black and purple uniform with a hood and facial covering; brilliant green hair spilling forth within the recesses of her mask. Both her weapons had changed as well, turning into green and purple short broadswords. He no longer had a thin blade curving towards his neck, if he took the fall. Her attack would be like a butcher's knife for his neck, and things wouldn't be pretty if the attack went through.
In the case that the fall didn't go through, or he managed to roll or escape from her grasp, she still had a secondary blade ready. By now, her arms had long recovered from the vibrations, and she was prepared for more, despite the fact that she didn't know he could only use it one more time. In the event of her failure, the blade in her left hand would lash out towards him like a snake, not aiming for any particular part of his body. Just an intimidating strike that would tell him she meant business...and that he better as well, lest he slip up and make a mistake. If he was cut by the blade, he would feel an intense stinging sensation that struck directly at the nerves. To him, it may feel like her blades had injected a poison into his bloodstream, going with the theme of her current form. But the feeling was nothing more than a feeling. Like his Zanpakuto, which effected the senses, this form of her Zanpakuto was the same, hitting directly for the nerves. Naturally, the deeper the cut, the more pain it would send to the nerve receptors. The rust like patterns on her blade were due to the cause, but did no harm if touched with the bare skin. All the Captain had to worry his pretty little head about was the blade sinking its fangs into his sweet flesh.

Tobias Clark
The King in Yellow There was a certain beauty to coming into a battle late, and choosing the perfect moment to fling yourself into the fray. Tobias was a naturally flamboyant man, and so, when the moment presented itself, he couldn't help but let the familiar weight of a reishi-construct fill his hands.
Tobias had been floating high above in the sky, and with a flourish, he threw the jacket from his back. Drawing one hand before his body, and touching the tips of the other hand to the back of that hand, Tobias began to softly hum to himself. " Da-da-da-dum. " He chanted lightly, before drawing his right hand towards his body, leaving the left hand before him, and suddenly holding a glowing construct of energy. It slowly began to take shape. Tobias would be left a mere heartbeat later with a glowing yellow rifle. Atop the glowing 'wood' a scope formed, and the Emperor would lift it to his shoulder with a heft and a breath. Looking down, he would gauge the distance to him and where Kenshin and Aero both dueled with lightning speed. Their swords were both flashing, sparking, bright with the energy both gave off, and exuded. The distance was quite a ways off'; Tobias guessed that there was a solid mile and a half between them, and with a smirk, he knew he could make the shot.
He brought the rifle to his shoulder slowly, and angled the gun straight down towards where Aero and Kenshin fought diligently. He mentally ordered a bullet to enter the barrel, and he sighted down Aero's attacks.
A true gunman never immediately shot. He watched. He waited. He studied how the target moved, and how he reacted to every coming thing. Essentially, they would wait like ghosts; exactly what Tobias was doing with how low he kept his reiatsu, and how far he stayed away. Noting how Aero moved with each attack, Tobias chose the exact moment to strike.
Fourteen gunshots would burst from the rifle, an almost impossible feat, the aim changed so lightly that it was almost imperceptible. Aero, right then, happened to be attacking in a nearly impossible to follow series of attacks. However, Tobias kept up with each and every one, firing a shot to catch the edge of Aero's blade, sending it off just enough that it would either entirely evade Kenshin, or become so slow Aero was forced to redouble his efforts in retracting the blade. The last bullet went for Aero's thrown fist, and would rocket into the back of the hand. However, it was so weak that it would hardly crack through the hierro. Instead, the force of the attack would be present to throw the fist away from Kenshin's body, leaving him possibly open for counter attacks from the veritable Head Captain.
The Emperor would drop the riffle from his hands, letting it fall to earth. It swiftly dematerialized, leaving a trail of reishi that rejoined Tobias a moment later. He smirked wildly, pleased with his word. " You're welcome. " He said mostly to himself, before chuckling wildly. So far, he had enjoyed watching the fight, and feeding off of the reishi everyone was throwing around like they were playing a game! IT was so tasty, and filled the air with a thickness that was similar to instant jello, and even if he could move through it no problem, it excited Tobias to no end. Looking down to the battles at hand, Tobias would begin planning his net mode of action. Should he try and shoot that dastardly Kurenai, or even knock the balance out from under Amarai? Zetsubo was a solid target as well, but hey, he liked the idea of leaving the bad guys for last.
This was great fun! " Dire times are ahead for any man caught in the crossfire. Good thing we Quincy are quick. "

YUKI VIANEY________________________ lieutenantxxofxxsquadxxten Seeing that none of her attack hit him, Yuki wasn't surprised as she panted her feet to the ground and tracked him down with her eyes, as he stood next to Zetsubo. Yuki listened to her his words as her hand tightened around her zanpakuto's hilt, making her blood boil in her veins seeing how lost Grimm was in his soo called "path". "You made your self a nobody. Just like me, until I met Raiku. Trust me I do know about everyone's little path, but right now you're showing me and others who cared for you, that you despise them, including Animus. You've made a foolish mistake." Yuki said as the temperature did not bother her at all.
Watching Grimm release his shikai, Yuki was slightly confused but made her slightly scared, was he going to kill her as quickly as he could or....Yuki thought as she held a calm facial expression, as he strike the air a few times. But once he disappeared, Yuki was focused and ready for him to attack her head on. Seeing what he was doing Yuki softly chuckled, 'Nice move..' she thought to herself. However as five Grimm's had darted towards her and peraped to strike down at her midsection, Yuki channeled all her reishi to her hand, and charged a spell, lifting her hand towards the Grimms. Feeling a blast of of his spiritual pressure rush over her, Yuki narrowed her eyes under her mask as she spilled out a pretty good amount of spiritual pressure and reishi out,"Hado #1 Sho! ] she said as she cast the spell and a large powerful wave would would push the Grimms away from her a few feet. Yuki had spread the spell so it would each across, as she then whispered,"Snowflakes..." To herself. Her zanpakuto would glow a white as it began to shatter to many pieces, with her mind, Yuki controlled them to attack the Grimm to find the real one. The snow flakes are very swift moving together and could cut anyone in it path to not mention their speed a lone.

Agent Men are not Prisoners of war.... ------------------------------------- Don't ever believe that Darkness will Triumph.... ------------------------------------ With this Light of Fire I Bring..... ----------------------------------- Seeing her counter his attack with just her spiritual pressure alone, and mixing a kido spell in there made him curious to her real capabilities. He wanted to test her out, yet he knew he couldn't. Letting the hado spell push him back he was just floating above the ground, his wings holding him in place. He just stared at Yuki waiting to see what her next attack was going to do. He watched as the five clones were dispersed by the her zanpakuto's attack, when the attack came after him he held his left hand up blocking the attack. Granted it took a good amount of force for him to block the attack and to not lose his position, but Yuki knew better than to think a simple attack as that would do any real damage to him. Pushing the attack into the air for the moment he continued to stare at his opponent. He felt it, the blood on his hand dripping down to the ground, a good sized wound appearing across the palm of his hand, smirking he let it bleed, it didn't matter at this point, they were at war and he already knew injuries were going to happen.
"Your words are falling upon ears that do not simply care, I was never apart of this wretched place, so I left after my first few years in Squad 9, nobody even knew I was gone, nobody simply cared. Though I suppose there is no reason in arguing about this, even with all your strength you will not defeat me. You wanted a fight, so be it." As he finished speaking to her, his eyes started glowing a bright golden color, his spiritual pressure rising yet again at a rapid pace. He knew it was a waste to go Bankai against her, but if he didn't finish this soon he would be forced to, he knew what he had to do to finish this quickly, he wanted to find Axzaki, he wanted to finish their fight. "Tenshi no Rekuiemu!" (天使のレクイエム, Angelic Requiem) Using one of his Shikai's abilities, Grimm dropped his sword to the ground, when it fully laid on the ground Grimm was immediately in front of Yuki already sending a sharp right fist for her jaw, with Grimm using this ability and to compensate for the armor he was wearing, Angelic Requiem gives Grimm a boost to his speed making it much easier for him to fight as he wanted to. With his higher power and speed he knew the chances of her dodging this attack was minimum, though the opportunity was still there, it was a very slim chance of her blocking or dodging his punch. He wanted to hit her, he wanted to see exactly how much she could take before she started to wear down....But prisoners of their own Mindset ------------------------------------------------- .....Even in the Darkest Days the Light Still Shines ------------------------------------------------- .....Let it Burn Through The Darkness of this World ------------------------------------------------
