Adrian chuckled with amusement. "Don't worry about it; You're probably better at socializing than me... considering usually I try to stay away from others," he said quietly; he actually hadn't spoken to another person like he had Lillian or her mother in nearly eight and a half years, though he wasn't going to mention it immediately.
As she spoke about disobeying her father, he sighed, but didn't say anything about it as he walked alongside and slightly behind and to Lillian's right, his gaze unconsciously scanning around, for what he wasn't sure.

A smile came to Lillian's face as she heard Alexis chuckling. She listened to him and then said, "Oh, well you can talk to me as much as you'd like and if you don't want to I wouldn't ever try forcing you. And I'll keep anyone away if they start crowding you." she had a small smile on her face as she walked along slowly through the aisles, looking at things that may be good for Adrian. She saw a few things that she showed to Adrian, though he didn't need to buy them if he didn't want to. Lillian was normally one to pick out clothes and then show them to people, getting their opinions and putting them either back on the clothing racks or in the cart, depending on what was said.

Adrian tilted his head. "I do know where there's a underground hot spring about a third of a mile from where I've been living lately," he said thoughtfully, noticing a few of the items, mainly camouflage cargo shorts and a thick belt that he liked and decided to get. He also chose a tan cargo vest and a couple of amber-gold shirts.

Lillian was glad that Adrian was actually letting her buy things, since some of her friends said no, though there were ones that said yes (the ones that should not have been her friends) and they let her buy the more expensive things. Yet they didn't always get away with getting all of what they had wanted. "That sounds really cool. Maybe my dad will let me come visit... oh wait...... He may not if he can't come drop me off... He's like that when it comes to new people. I could say I've known you for years, though he'd wonder why I haven't mentioned you before now..." she said as scoped out the shelves for more things to show Adrian.

Adrian shrugged. "There are ways to get to my place; given a little time I could find a way from your home to my place where few people if anyone would see you and I doubt they'd be people you'd know," he said thoughtfully.

Still looking for things that could be good for Adrian, Lillian heard him speaking and she turned to him saying, "I don't know. I mean I guess that we could try finding where you live from my house and I could come visit you... Wait! Can you read maps? Perhaps we could find it that way? If you know the area that you live relatively well then we may be able to find signifigant landmarks that you know, even on a map. That way we could figure out how far it is from my house to where you live via a map. And my parents wouldn't ever have to know about it." she suggested, getting a little over excited, but did keep her voice down. She had never been one to like going anywhere without telling one of her parents, though she was thinking that getting out and having a bit of fun without everyone and their brother knowing would be a little fun.

Kaosujin Ryu Adrian nodded. "I can, and it isn't that hard to find where I live; it's about a mile and a half from where that wildfire stopped burning outside the city," he said with a shrug. He was fairly sure she'd remember it, since it had happened only a year or so before and had burned nearly forty six square miles and several expensive homes before being put out.

The moment that Lillian heard Adrian speaking she stopped looking for clothes for him and listened to him fully. She did remember the fire that had raged around a year before and all the damage that it had caused. "I do know right where that is. I could get a map of the area. I'll have to check if any of the maps at home have been updated, though they more than likely have, since daddy likes to keep on top of things that happen." she said, smiling.
"I could just head out there with you and you could show me where it is that way? I doubt that I'd get in trouble. Well, it'd actually have to be tomorrow since I have to get home before dark. I could drop you off around there or you could stay at my place and take the spare room that guests use. It's really nice, almost nicer than my room, though that's because daddy wants to treat guests the best that they can be. That and the maids are always cleaning everywhere else but my room, though my room is still clean enough and is the only room that Roxy, my husky, is allowed to sleep in." she said in a rambling sort of way before stopping herself, looking at Adrian apologetically and waiting for him to speak.

Adrian tilted his head. "The spare room is fine with me, honestly. I'm not surprised you know where it is, since there's a water tower they'd tapped to weaken the fire a couple of blocks away from where there's a secret passageway that comes up close to my cavern," he said with amusement. He wasn't going to tell her that it involved going through a old subway system that still had some battered yet still operating cars in it as well as a few old dry sewer tunnels.

"I suppose that we can take these up to the front and pay for them now? Or did you want to keep looking? It doesn't matter to me, though if you want to get to the mall or anywhere else before I have to get home we'll have to get going soon. I don't think that being a little bit late would hurt, though a few hours may get me grounded..." Lillian said, being a little pushy as she thought of what her father would say if she came home too late because of taking a friend out to get them clothes. She was allowed to get things for her friends, though all of what she bought them never added up to much and if she took Adrian out to the mall too, which the clothes tended to be more there, she'd probably have her cash and credit cards taken from her for a month or more. She then explained bits of this to Adrian, though she did her best to make it sound like she could get things, though just to limit it. What she hadn't told him was that she had already spent more on him than she should have, though she wanted to be sure that he was set for a while.

Adrian winked at Lillian. "I think this is enough to last me a while; I don't need that much," he said with amusement before he glanced to the side and noticed something that very much interested him: a compact bow. He had a bow, of course, but it wasn't very accurate or flexible though he had made it with his own hands. He brushed his fingertips over his right eye, where there were several jagged diamond shaped scars from where his first attempt at a bow had literally blown up in his face.

Lillian heard that Adrian felt he had enough for now and she was about to head up to the front to pay for his things when she took notice of him looking at a bow. She wasn't sure that she'd be able to buy it since she was seventeen, though her father knew the manager and she had gotten away with buying things that she shouldn't have been able to get before. "Grab that bow, if you want and then come with me. I know the manager and he'd probably let you get it. I mean he'd let me get it, since he doesn't know you and is not as lenient as my mother is when it comes to my friends and letting them get away with things most normally wouldn't allow." she said as she motioned for him to follow with the bow.

Adrian blinked at Lillian's words, blushing slightly in reaction. "Trust me, you read books and think making a bow is easy, though the truth is it's far from easy," he said with a sigh as he picked up the bow, unconsciously testing its draw strength and liking it. He followed Lillian, glancing around cautiously when he heard a curse from the second floor and looked up, seeing a kayak swinging one end down with a low whistling sound with a reddish orange rope trailing after it. He lightly pushed Lillian before he pushed off of the ground in a side flip and planting one hand on the falling end of the kayak as he noticed someone straining to hold it up from falling before he pushed off with his feet fluidly, drawing the momentum and energy from the kayak's wild swing into himself before he used a back handspring and landed in a crouch a few feet away from where he'd started, skidding another foot or so before stopping. The kayak swayed slightly; he didn't notice the awed looks from several of the workers, including the pair that had been fighting to keep it from falling completely, at his athletic movement. He personally thought nothing of it whatsoever, not finding it unusual in the least.

As Lillian walked to find out if the manager of the store would help she heard someone curse, though she thought nothing of it because it was on the second floor. Although when she felt herself being lightly pushed by someone, which she guessed to be Alexis, she looked up and that's when she saw the kayak hanging down from the upper floor. She watched the scene play out before her and she stared at Adrian after everything. "That was so cool." she said chuckling somewhat as she walked over to him. "Where did you learn to do that?" she questioned, an amazed smile creeping onto her face.

Adrian shrugged. "I think you would know it as free running... though I've heard another name for it that I can't remember off the top of my head," he said with a small smile, slightly embarrassed at Lillian's reaction. He didn't find it all that strange, as to what he'd done; he simply reacted to the situation, not really realizing it would draw attention.
