Deldragan's hooves went up and smacked his brother in the head. "You idiot, no wonder she's upset!" He huffed, glaring. "She likes you, moron! 'Just friends' won't cut it." He turned and started walking away, grumbling. How could his know-it-all brother be so blind?!

Deldragan spun back around and growled. "How do you know it wasn't fear that you'd say something else, you twit?!" He may not be all that fast or smart, but at least he wasn't a coward. Maybe it was because Del was used to doing so, but expressing feelings didn't seem that hard to him. It was three words! How hard could they be to say?

Cedomir stared at his brother in wonder. What the deuce had gotten into him? He was almost open-mouthed. "This conversation is over." He finally said, snapping out of his reverie.

Deldragan snorted and started walking back towards the others. "If you say so," he muttered. He kind of worried that Cedo didn't really get it...

Cedomir rolled his eyes and followed his brother back to the others, his eyes focused on Acacia as he walked, though he didn't realize it. She consumed his mind. He could barely breath when she was around, but he was too afraid to tell her.

Acacia had forced herself into some busy work, avoiding Cedomir's gaze--or rather, oblivious to his staring--for the moment as she sorted out her thoughts. Why? Why was she so upset? It wasn't like they were ever anything more than friends...
Deldragan bypassed the chatting Naveen and Brise, making a beeline for the merchant's daughter. If Cedomir wouldn't say anything, maybe Del would. But just coming out and saying it was a bit tactless, even for him. So... "Hey, Acacia. Are you doin' ok?" Nailed it.
Acacia jumped at Del's voice, smiling sheepishly. "Whoops! Sorry about that, just a little focused..." When Del repeated what he said for her, she smiled again. "I'm fine." At the stallion's eyebrow raise, she edited her statement. "I'm a bit tired from the trip and I've got some things on my mind, but I'm alright. And what about you? How are you doing?" Both she and Cedo's brother relaxed, just having... well, a normal conversation, idle chit-chat. It was a nice break from her complicated thoughts of relationships.

Burning jealousy coursed from Cedo's heart through his veins as he tore his gaze away from Acacia and Del and focused on Brise and Naveen's conversation. At the right moment he cut in. "If I may, I'd like to accompany you if you are heading north next." He said, his mind darting to that story Acacia had told him about the tree god.

Naveen blinked, nodding slowly with a passive expression to Cedo's slightly heated request. The boy probably didn't even notice the emotions his voice contained. "I don't have a problem with that," he replied warmly. "The more the merrier."

Cedomir nodded and forced himself to turn away without looking at Acacia. He flicked his tail in irritation as he made his way to his father to tell him that they were leaving soon.
Brise shook his head. "He doesn't want to admit it." He said with a half frown on his face as he looking between Cedomir and Acacia. With another shake of his head he turned back to Naveen. "Should we leave before it gets dark?" He asked./

Naveen shook his head, smiling slightly. "Neither of them do. But maybe this adventure will fix that." The smile widened into a surprising grin. "Hopefully it isn't as complicated as the adventure that drew Cynthia and I together." Though they were much more inclined to express their feelings towards one another once they discovered them. Naveen nodded to Brise's question. "That would be wise." Reaching the next safe point before nightfall would be the ideal.

Brise gave a soft smile as Cedomir returned before turning and nuzzling his mate. He couldn't figure out why Cedo wouldn't tell Acacia, he couldn't imagine not ever telling Reiko that he loved her. But, that was Cedomir's business and not his. "Then let's head out." He waited to follow Naveen.
Cedomir glanced back over at Acacia and Del before he sidled over to them, his ears flat against his head as he approached. "We are ready to head out." He said, his voice gruffer than he had intended.

Deldragan, for once, didn't get flustered at his older brother's gruff announcement. He didn't even seem to acknowledge the other stallion's existence as he strolled over to Naveen, Brise and Reiko. What was with that attitude? Did he... oh no. Was Cedo getting jealous of Del and Acacia talking? He was an even bigger moron than he thought!
Acacia's own ears went against her head at the tone of Cedo's voice, forcing a smile onto her face as she nodded. Del had said in the course of the conversation that Cedomir liked her, but this... this sure didn't feel like it. Earlier it had, but now he just seemed angry at her... She trotted over to her father, taking her usual place by his right side as they headed out.

Cedomir took a place at the back , his head down and his ears still against his head. What had he done? Acacia had all but looked at him? Had she guessed that he liked her and it made her so uncomfortable that she was trying to avoid him? Maybe he should stay home.. Maybe he just shouldn't tag along. He thought it'd be fun and maybe he'd get the courage to tell Acacia along the way but.. no.. not now.. She just brushed past him like he wasn't even there. Oh this was miserable...
Brise took his and Reiko's place in the middle, playful and such as he let his pelt lightly brush against Reiko's before bumping her and grinned at her, then nipping at her neck.

Deldragan stuck to the left, the closest Azrien being Naveen. He stayed away from Acacia and definitely the sulking Cedomir, not wanting to further complicate things. Then again, he probably would unintentionally... With this notorious jealous streak that his brother was on, Del was pretty sure anything undesired around Acacia would earn glares.
Reiko giggled, playfully nipping at him as she bumped him back. Despite the romantic tension between the younger members of the group, the mare was happy.
