Marisha dodged the two attacks from the other girl and stuck her tongue out. She knew she would be good at this game. With that thought in mind she gave a mischievous grin and grabbed another 'weapon'. With water balloon in hand she ran towards the girl and lobbed it. The water filled balloon soared through the air and hit her dead on. "Bulls eye! Take that!" she called to the now wet girl with her eyes alight with glee and a grin on her face.Marisha Running total; First post - roll=odd/7 - Water Balloon hit. A little too enthused by his success, Griffin went to reach into the bin that his last target was sitting in. It was awfully soggy over there, considering the number of balloons that had burst in the area recently. His feet skidded on the wet ground, and before he had fully lifted a balloon out of the tub, he fell on his rear. The balloon burst all over him, making him even wetter than he'd been before. And on top of all that, he was now the one who was the perfect target. Or at least, he would be until he managed to stand up again, and hunt down some more ammunition. Not to mention his dignity, which had gotten lost during that little mishap.

Then Briar tried to follow up his success with another balloon. The girl he’d been trying to target moved at the last minute and the balloon splattered harmlessly nearby to another boy ( Jason) who Briar hadn’t been targeting. Given his lacklustre luck with the balloons to date, mayhaps it was time to try using something else in the ‘splatter arsenal’ – Briar did want to be the one with the cookies at the end of all this. Quote: Briar is targeting random kid, Briar accidentally nearly hits Jason, but ultimately misses. Hit: 3 Miss: 5

After Akane shook herself as dry as she could, she said, "Wow, you're good!" She attempted a counterattack. This time from the front. She missed again. She took this as her cue to try attacking someone else. Marisha was just too good at this game. "You're, like, the water balloon fight master!" Hit: 0 Miss: 3

There were other kids over at the tubs with the sudsy water and confetti when Briar headed over to the tubs, so he decided to stick with the water balloons – at least for now.
He tossed it randomly, heard it thud and the yelp as it splattered over someone and smiled to himself – looked like he’d managed to hit a target.

Kaia picked up another piece of ammunition and threw it at the closest person, Briar, and the confetti exploded all over in a satisfying way. She giggled a little and darted off to go scoop up something else, getting into the swing of things finally.

Akane obtained a new target, Kaia. She got another water balloon and aimed for her legs. She was overjoyed when it hit her target. "Yaaay!" She jumped up and down and laughed. "I gotcha!" Hit: 1 Miss: 3

Obviously it didn't matter if she was sitting in a place that saw her supplied with limitless ammo. Kids still targeted her. Being were she was though prepared her for when the boy she had hit earlier ran straight up to the tub and dumped a water balloon on her head. Eliza felt the water cascade down her back as she picked up a balloon. Griff would be very sorry that he didn't run when he had the chance. She giggled as he mimicked her earlier fall, except he didn't land in the tub. Griff was now a sitting duck. Eliza clambered awkwardly out of the tub and lifted her balloon high over her head. She took aim at Griff's head before letting gravity take over. Eliza watched as the balloon burst over Griff, showering him in bubbles. Her payback given, the girl grabbed one more balloon in each hand before ambling away. DivineSaturn Eliza targets and hits Griff over the head with bubbles. Hits: 4 Misses: 3

"Thanks! Marisha said, then ginned at the girl and nodded. She liked being called that but knew better than to take it to heart as of yet. After all, there were quite a few others that she had to take out first in this game. She would leave the girl alone for now. turning away from her she bounded off in search of another target. When she spotted another little boy about to throw his balloon at a nearby kid she smiled and giggled before trying to hit him. Unfortunately her balloon toss was a bit short and the water inside ended up all over the ground as she missed.Marisha Running total; First post - roll=odd/7 - Water Balloon hit. Darting all over, Trev scanned the crowd, looking for likely victims of water balloon-y DOOM. Not to mention keeping an eye open for Derek. He didn't want to break his word to the kid, after all. Sataisfied that Derek at least sort of seemed to be having fun now, Trev nodded happily to himself and pitched the balloon in his hand at the nearest girl. Only to have it fall short and burst at her feet.

"Now who to get next? Marisha wonders to herself as she runs her free hand through her unruly hair. Her eyes twinkling in glee as as she scans the area. She knew that she had to get better and not allow any more misses However she also knew that it was up to fate whether the balloon would hit or not. Grinning as she spies another kid about to throw their balloon at someone she sneaks up behind them and takes aim. Throwing the heavy balloon as hard as she can she watches it fly the few feet through the air. The splash as the balloon broke over the kid came with a defining sound of water running down the kid's back. She grinned as the kid turned to retaliate and ran.

Momentarily losing track of his erstwhile partner, Trev continued to scoop up balloons as he sized up the other kids around him. Spying a likely looking target, he grinned and tossed.
And once again missed, this time, the balloon bounced off the kid and hit a tree before popping. Okay, that was actually kind of cool. It seemed that karma was taking the time to punish him for cockiness in all his previous successes on the playing field.
Still, it wasn't over yet and he aimed to get in some more hits one way or another before this game was over.

Okay, okay. Be cool. Maybe if he pretended that he didn't really care about hitting anyone his mojo would come back. Accordingly, Trev whistled as innocently as possible (which wasn't very) as he ambled to gather more balloons. After selecting a decent armful, he darted around, ducking behind bushes as he selected a target. Little girl whose parents had rather stupidly dressed her up in frills and ribbons. Shaking his head, Trev felt sorry for what he was about to do, but given that the frills already were soaked and spattered with mud and bubbles, he doubted she really cared. The parents might though. But hey, if they were going to dress her up like that when they knew there was gonna be a party and balloon fight... Well. Served 'em right.
Winding up his arm, he let the first of his balloons go, shrieking joyfully as it not only hit right on target, but burst, further drenching the girl.
"BOOYAH, baby!"

Busy running for another water balloon, Briar wasn’t paying as much attention to his surroundings as perhaps he should – well he wasn’t until confetti seemed to explode around him. “Ack” he said as he tried to clear as much of the stuff off him as he could, as he heard a giggle from behind him. He managed to get enough of the stuff off him and turn in time to see a girl run off – a girl who did not know it but was definitely going down – water and bubbles were okay, but confetti was ick. He got his opportunity a little later and tossed his latest balloon in her direction. Grinning as it appeared to connect Briar headed off to look for another target. Quote: Briar is targeting Kaia and managed to successfully hit her with a water balloon Hit: 5 Miss: 5

The tubs with the sudsy water was free so Briar thought he’d give throwing water balloons a break and go for the bubbles instead.
He didn’t manage to hit anyone with bubbles, but did manage to splash a fair deal of sudsy water on himself in the attempt.
